HOMEOWNER6:46
the thing that it was, is my real estate agent was not too cool on it, and I read an article that said it's actually harder to sell your house, but I don't know
AGENT6:54
Yeah, so here, I'll, I'll, I'll give
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah,
AGENT6:55
you a little bit of insight on
HOMEOWNER1:07
that's
AGENT5:53
that is
HOMEOWNER0:56
what it
AGENT0:40
that
HOMEOWNER0:40
was,
AGENT4:46
um a
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah.
AGENT7:05
lot of these uh uh solar programs, I think uh where people had trouble with like that they transfer ability and again this is kind of what the consultation will go over with it is that the other
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah.
AGENT7:20
programs you would, let's say there's like finance options where you'd have to buy them and then transferring a loan over with kind of like a, a pain with these programs, uh, like a PTA and whatnot. Um, it works kind of like the utility company when obviously when you transfer ownership,
···
HOMEOWNER0:07
Good afternoon, Brad speaking.
AGENT0:17
Hey, how's it going, Brad? My name's uh Andrew. I'm actually just uh reaching out to you because I believe you spoke to someone on my team yesterday about the new energy program. How are you doing today?
HOMEOWNER0:20
Uh, pretty good. I don't think I did.
AGENT0:40
Oh, really? Um, maybe there's a mix up here. I have, I have a note here um that they spoke to you yesterday, but, um, well, I mean, while I have you on the phone, just so you have an idea as to why we were reaching out is that um right now, there is a notice that was sent over by the utility providers. Um, I don't know if you received it. It was, uh, it was, it was in regards to the changing in the billing structuring.
HOMEOWNER0:46
Um, yeah, I think I might have received it. It's
AGENT0:17
OK,
HOMEOWNER09:05am
in a pot.
AGENT0:40
well,
HOMEOWNER09:05am
It's in a pile.
AGENT09:05am
yeah, no, I,
HOMEOWNER1:17
Sorry.
AGENT0:56
I'll explain it, but basically what it is is that they, they announced that they're gonna be increasing their rates again this year by about 15%.
HOMEOWNER0:40
Right.
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER0:07
I,
AGENT0:17
and
HOMEOWNER0:40
oh,
AGENT0:17
all
HOMEOWNER09:05am
wait
AGENT0:40
that
HOMEOWNER09:05am
a minute.
AGENT0:56
basically
HOMEOWNER09:05am
On top
AGENT5:53
means
HOMEOWNER0:59
of what was just approved,
AGENT2:58
correct. Yeah
HOMEOWNER09:05am
So they're
AGENT0:17
So
HOMEOWNER0:56
gonna
AGENT0:17
the
HOMEOWNER09:05am
go up
AGENT09:05am
reason I
HOMEOWNER2:34
like
AGENT0:40
was
HOMEOWNER09:05am
75%
AGENT0:17
reaching
HOMEOWNER1:07
then you're saying, oh Jesus, that's terrible.
AGENT0:46
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER10:04
Yup.
AGENT1:17
yeah, yeah, and, and that's kind of why we're reaching out, um, uh, uh, sorry, Brad, do you know roughly if you're paying at least over 60 to $70 a month for electricity.
HOMEOWNER1:48
Oh, I think I am. Uh, I have to look, you know, I just got the bill, and I have to look at it's biweekly, uh, I mean, I couldn't look at actually, I couldn't look at the current one because I was looking online and it says it wasn't available. I was just gonna look today and it said it wasn't available yet to look online, so. so yeah, I don't know if it was weekly. I don't know if it's monthly or bimonthly or triple monthly because it's also connected to the sewer and the trash. So you have to look at it to get the breakdown, do you know what I mean? It's a little tricky.
AGENT0:40
Right.
HOMEOWNER0:40
Well,
AGENT09:06am
No, yeah, yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah
AGENT2:34
totally understand. Well then, well, just so you know the reason that I was actually reaching out to you about is because if you are paying at least over $60 a month. Then right now what we're doing is we're actually helping homeowners, um, kind of like help with like avoiding the rate increases uh with this new uh energy programs. The way that the program works is that so long as you and your home can get approved. Uh, it's the government endorsed a solar program where what happens is that if you qualify, the solar system gets installed on your home. You don't pay any, any, anything out of pocket for the installation. But what it basically does is help with replacing your current electricity bill for a cheaper solar bill. In most cases, we're seeing um the the they'll reduced by about 40%, um, obviously you qualify.
HOMEOWNER0:40
Oh,
AGENT2:35
Does that make
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah.
AGENT5:53
sense?
HOMEOWNER2:37
Which company are, are you actually?
AGENT2:40
I'm with Local Energy Partners.
HOMEOWNER2:42
You were 12 point? Is that what it's called?
AGENT0:17
I'm
HOMEOWNER0:17
You
AGENT1:17
sorry
HOMEOWNER09:07am
said 12.
AGENT2:50
No, no, no, I'm with a local Energy Partners.
HOMEOWNER2:53
Oh, just a local one. You don't know really. OK.
AGENT2:58
Correct. Yeah, I mean, just, just uh to kinda clarify what I basically do. I'm, I'm a verification
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah
AGENT3:07
manager. Uh, what I do is I actually connect you with your with your local uh solar company. Uh, we, obviously, the top one in your area, and they help you get approved for this type
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK,
AGENT09:07am
of program,
HOMEOWNER0:17
cause I
AGENT0:40
right?
HOMEOWNER3:09
was just looking
AGENT0:40
Um,
HOMEOWNER0:40
at
AGENT0:17
so
HOMEOWNER0:17
one
AGENT0:56
what I
HOMEOWNER1:48
online
AGENT0:20
did
HOMEOWNER3:09
today, which is strange because I was wondering maybe that's where you got my name, but I'm on my work computer. I was just looking at Trinity's
AGENT09:07am
oh no
HOMEOWNER2:34
solar
AGENT2:34
way
HOMEOWNER3:32
because I walked my dog yesterday, and I was talking to a guy about his solar and his whole family has it, him, his cousins, and everybody, and Trinity, so, so I was looking at their stuff. Right as you called Ashley, it was very weird. huh Yeah
AGENT0:40
Oh really?
HOMEOWNER0:40
but
AGENT3:41
Wow, small world. And then how, how, how is their experience been with, with, uh, with solar and I'm assuming they got something approved
HOMEOWNER0:17
because,
AGENT3:42
for the same type of
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT0:17
program.
HOMEOWNER4:07
mean, like you said, he had it and then his daughter had it and then the cousins have it all through that Trinity cellar. Um, I don't know. He wasn't he wasn't, you know, what I mean, we chat for a while. It sounds like it's a little mixed. It sounds like in the winter, it doesn't produce enough for electricity, but it certainly produces enough to offset his summer. electricity. So I was like, interesting. All right.
AGENT2:58
Correct
HOMEOWNER4:46
So I was trying to figure, but he didn't know like overall. he didn't have like, OK, I, I, I'm saving for 40% overall, basically, you know what I mean? He all my old utility bills. So he, he wasn't able to tell me that. But now, now that I'm looking at all this, um, and understand that program more like you, you, you, you, you technically lease them, but actually you're just really getting paid for them to put the panels on the roof in the long run. You just, you know, like maybe 100 bucks a month, you, you're just, you know, getting paid 100 bucks a month out their solar panels on the roof because you don't really buy them, correct? You're more like you, it's not a, yeah.
AGENT4:55
What Yeah, so, uh, it, it worked, it works a little bit different than at least. Um, I know leases are very popular. The way that this
HOMEOWNER09:09am
Uh-huh
AGENT5:03
with this one works is basically the solar system gets installed on your home, and all you basically do is you're paying for the power that's coming from the panels. You're just paying
HOMEOWNER0:40
Right
AGENT5:14
it at a cheaper rate than you would your utility company, right? And that's why in most cases when, when you actually meet, meet with a consultant, what they basically do is they'll look at your energy bill and
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah
AGENT5:22
they'll obviously make sure that they can show you how you can offset your bill. Um, and basically now switch from paying your current utility bill,
HOMEOWNER0:40
Right.
AGENT09:09am
now to the
HOMEOWNER09:09am
Now, he's
AGENT2:34
solar
HOMEOWNER1:48
also
AGENT1:48
bill and,
HOMEOWNER1:07
saying
AGENT1:17
and that's
HOMEOWNER0:17
he
AGENT0:40
really
HOMEOWNER09:09am
still
AGENT0:56
what,
HOMEOWNER09:09am
gets the
AGENT0:56
what
HOMEOWNER0:40
bill
AGENT09:09am
they kind of
HOMEOWNER11:55
though
AGENT1:48
break down
HOMEOWNER5:03
from
AGENT6:00
for you.
HOMEOWNER0:17
the
AGENT0:40
Um,
HOMEOWNER5:27
electric company,
AGENT5:28
kind of like the questions that you had.
HOMEOWNER5:36
but then he also gets credits So he might get like a negative bill. So then like you've got credits and then it builds up.
AGENT2:58
Correct.
HOMEOWNER9:10
Yeah. OK.
AGENT5:53
Great question. Yeah, so, basically, what that is referring to is called the net metering and that basically means is that because they work alongside with the utility company in the sense that in the daytime, your
HOMEOWNER0:40
Right
AGENT6:00
energy is produced by solar, but in the nighttime, obviously solar is not uh working for you, but what happens is that the utility
HOMEOWNER09:10am
Right, the
AGENT2:37
company
HOMEOWNER6:16
extra,
AGENT6:01
will actually
HOMEOWNER2:58
correct.
AGENT4:46
buy the
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah, I,
AGENT0:17
energy
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT5:03
from,
HOMEOWNER2:34
understand,
AGENT09:10am
from you,
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah.
AGENT6:05
um, and then actually
HOMEOWNER6:06
understand they produce more than
AGENT6:54
give
HOMEOWNER0:07
I,
AGENT09:10am
you credit uh
HOMEOWNER0:17
use
AGENT6:08
for return for the nighttime usage.
HOMEOWNER09:10am
at certain
AGENT11:37
Exactly,
HOMEOWNER1:48
time.
AGENT0:40
right.
HOMEOWNER6:11
Yes, absolutely. That totally
AGENT0:46
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER5:22
makes
AGENT0:17
so
HOMEOWNER6:16
sense. And then they buy the extra and then of course, your, the company that installs them, they get to actually,
AGENT0:17
OK
HOMEOWNER6:24
you know, probably more than I do, I'm sure. So they get, or at least the equal amount, yeah, so they get a money back too. Yeah.
AGENT09:10am
I, uh,
HOMEOWNER09:10am
No, yeah,
AGENT11:37
exactly.
HOMEOWNER9:10
that's what I
AGENT0:17
So
HOMEOWNER1:48
said.
AGENT4:07
it sounds
HOMEOWNER8:05
guess
AGENT2:34
like
HOMEOWNER0:17
I'm
AGENT0:17
you,
HOMEOWNER09:10am
ready to
AGENT14:59
you, again,
HOMEOWNER0:17
do
AGENT0:17
you
HOMEOWNER0:40
that.
AGENT6:33
have a good idea of that. Have you ever
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT09:11am
sat down
HOMEOWNER09:11am
bought
AGENT2:34
with
HOMEOWNER7:56
the house.
AGENT6:34
anybody to kind of break that down
HOMEOWNER0:07
a
AGENT1:17
for
HOMEOWNER0:56
year
AGENT0:40
your
HOMEOWNER0:17
and
AGENT2:34
home?
HOMEOWNER09:11am
a half
AGENT09:11am
there on
HOMEOWNER6:33
ago
AGENT09:11am
Park
HOMEOWNER2:34
seeing
AGENT09:11am
Road?
HOMEOWNER6:46
the thing that it was, is my real estate agent was not too cool on it, and I read an article that said it's actually harder to sell your house, but I don't know
AGENT6:54
Yeah, so here, I'll, I'll, I'll give
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah,
AGENT6:55
you a little bit of insight on
HOMEOWNER1:07
that's
AGENT5:53
that is
HOMEOWNER0:56
what it
AGENT0:40
that
HOMEOWNER0:40
was,
AGENT4:46
um a
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah.
AGENT7:05
lot of these uh uh solar programs, I think uh where people had trouble with like that they transfer ability and again this is kind of what the consultation will go over with it is that the other
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah.
AGENT7:20
programs you would, let's say there's like finance options where you'd have to buy them and then transferring a loan over with kind of like a, a pain with these programs, uh, like a PTA and whatnot. Um, it works kind of like the utility company when obviously when you transfer ownership,
HOMEOWNER0:40
Right.
AGENT7:26
the new buyer just needs to call in and then just let them know, hey, I'm taking over the home, um, I'll be taking over this utility, right?
HOMEOWNER0:40
right now
AGENT7:30
So it's very similar with these drawings. They've made, they've made those changes
HOMEOWNER09:11am
OK, now,
AGENT7:31
because back in the day, that
HOMEOWNER0:40
but
AGENT0:20
did
HOMEOWNER0:56
what
AGENT0:17
cause
HOMEOWNER0:40
if,
AGENT09:12am
issues,
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK,
AGENT0:40
right?
HOMEOWNER09:12am
here we
AGENT0:07
I
HOMEOWNER0:07
go.
AGENT2:34
totally
HOMEOWNER0:56
What
AGENT2:34
understand
HOMEOWNER0:40
if
AGENT7:33
where you're coming
HOMEOWNER0:40
um
AGENT5:03
from.
HOMEOWNER7:35
Donahue driving gonna
AGENT0:40
Um,
HOMEOWNER09:12am
sell my
AGENT0:40
but
HOMEOWNER6:46
house.
AGENT09:12am
they did, they
HOMEOWNER09:12am
And these
AGENT09:12am
did make that
HOMEOWNER0:17
new
AGENT09:12am
adjustment.
HOMEOWNER7:56
people don't want the salon in the house. I mean, I wouldn't know why. So that I'd like to put on my garage. I think that'd be better, but I mean, my house is totally knowable too, but yeah. Yeah
AGENT8:05
Yeah, I mean, I guess that that's the, that is something that I mean not reality it could happen. It's very rare that it would because obviously it's they're, they're taking
HOMEOWNER09:12am
Uh-huh
AGENT8:11
over the savings, but that is, that, that could be a thing. However, what I will say and, and what I am aware of is that
HOMEOWNER1:07
That's
AGENT12:01
typically
HOMEOWNER09:12am
true
AGENT8:13
when, say a buyer is looking at your
HOMEOWNER09:12am
true,
AGENT2:34
home.
HOMEOWNER8:14
cause I looked at one they
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER4:07
had it,
AGENT0:40
they
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah,
AGENT8:15
obviously know
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah.
AGENT8:21
when they see it on the market itself. They come in to see your property, knowing that it has solar on it, right? So, a lot of the times, you won't see anybody.
HOMEOWNER8:25
I know who would, who wouldn't
AGENT0:46
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER09:12am
want it?
AGENT8:26
and you're, you're
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah,
AGENT8:11
aware
HOMEOWNER1:48
so yeah,
AGENT6:46
that it
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT3:32
has
HOMEOWNER7:56
wouldn't
AGENT2:34
solar
HOMEOWNER09:12am
mind if
AGENT0:17
and
HOMEOWNER0:17
you,
AGENT09:12am
then obviously
HOMEOWNER0:17
you
AGENT4:46
you, you're,
HOMEOWNER8:28
give my name out
AGENT8:26
you're, you're
HOMEOWNER0:17
and
AGENT09:12am
walking into
HOMEOWNER09:12am
set it
AGENT0:17
it
HOMEOWNER0:40
up
AGENT0:40
that
HOMEOWNER2:34
with
AGENT2:34
way.
HOMEOWNER0:17
someone
AGENT7:30
So it's,
HOMEOWNER10:19
that comes
AGENT09:12am
it's rare, but technically,
HOMEOWNER09:12am
takes a look
AGENT1:48
could
HOMEOWNER0:40
at
AGENT0:40
they
HOMEOWNER4:07
it and,
AGENT09:13am
say that?
HOMEOWNER0:17
you
AGENT0:40
They,
HOMEOWNER0:40
know.
AGENT8:34
I mean, yeah, I mean, that's, that's definitely a thing.
HOMEOWNER09:13am
Uh-huh, sure
AGENT8:37
Yeah, no savings, right?
HOMEOWNER09:13am
Uh-huh.
AGENT8:42
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, so if
HOMEOWNER2:58
Correct
AGENT8:49
it's OK, let, let me just ask you a couple of questions just to make sure you, you and your home are a good fit, and then we'll set something up. Um, are you the
HOMEOWNER0:17
Actually,
AGENT8:50
only person on title
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT8:50
for the property
HOMEOWNER0:17
do
AGENT09:13am
down on
HOMEOWNER0:40
not
AGENT09:13am
Park Road?
HOMEOWNER8:53
have any oh. Well, I planted
AGENT10:38
Perfect.
HOMEOWNER09:13am
a tree, but I'm
AGENT3:41
And then,
HOMEOWNER4:46
trying to
AGENT0:17
do
HOMEOWNER4:46
figure
AGENT0:17
you
HOMEOWNER0:17
out
AGENT0:40
know if
HOMEOWNER0:17
how
AGENT0:40
there's
HOMEOWNER09:13am
big.
AGENT2:34
any
HOMEOWNER09:13am
The well,
AGENT09:13am
big
HOMEOWNER0:17
the
AGENT09:13am
trees
HOMEOWNER09:13am
front ones
AGENT1:17
or
HOMEOWNER8:24
won't
AGENT2:34
anything
HOMEOWNER0:17
be
AGENT0:40
um that
HOMEOWNER09:13am
big,
AGENT8:05
would be
HOMEOWNER0:17
so
AGENT09:13am
blocking
HOMEOWNER0:40
they
AGENT8:59
the sunlight um by
HOMEOWNER0:40
if
AGENT2:34
your home?
HOMEOWNER9:10
we plant the morning, ah, that's what I mean. That's why I'm like, damn, they'd have to look. They're gonna have to look. I got a tree that, that does dapple like, yes, small leaves, it's a, you know, a honey maple. Yeah, OK.
AGENT9:19
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I, I'm, uh. yeah
HOMEOWNER14:27
Oh, yeah.
AGENT0:17
I'm,
HOMEOWNER0:40
I mean,
AGENT0:17
I'm
HOMEOWNER0:07
no,
AGENT09:13am
looking at it
HOMEOWNER0:20
don't.
AGENT5:03
from the
HOMEOWNER0:17
My
AGENT09:13am
overview
HOMEOWNER09:13am
neighbor has
AGENT0:40
right now.
HOMEOWNER0:17
one
AGENT09:13am
Yeah, you,
HOMEOWNER0:17
and
AGENT9:24
you should be OK,
HOMEOWNER9:24
that's probably the
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER09:13am
only one
AGENT09:13am
from what
HOMEOWNER0:40
that
AGENT0:07
I
HOMEOWNER5:14
would
AGENT2:34
see,
HOMEOWNER09:13am
bug
AGENT2:34
uh, it's
HOMEOWNER09:13am
me now.
AGENT0:40
really
HOMEOWNER09:13am
Otherwise,
AGENT09:13am
more of it's
HOMEOWNER09:13am
put one
AGENT0:17
just
HOMEOWNER09:13am
right in the
AGENT2:34
like
HOMEOWNER09:13am
middle of
AGENT11:13
if we
HOMEOWNER09:13am
backyard,
AGENT9:27
have a home that's
HOMEOWNER9:28
if you're looking
AGENT09:13am
surrounded
HOMEOWNER9:28
from it, you're looking
AGENT0:40
by
HOMEOWNER0:17
it,
AGENT0:17
and
HOMEOWNER0:17
so.
AGENT9:30
really just have no sunlight where it
HOMEOWNER1:07
that's,
AGENT09:13am
makes it a little
HOMEOWNER0:40
know,
AGENT09:13am
difficult.
HOMEOWNER9:41
that's only like a 2020-foot tree at this point, so. See, now that
AGENT10:38
Perfect.
HOMEOWNER0:17
the,
AGENT0:17
OK.
HOMEOWNER7:56
the house,
AGENT0:17
Uh.
HOMEOWNER9:45
only has a 20 year old roof, but
AGENT9:48
OK. So you should be good there.
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT0:40
Um,
HOMEOWNER0:20
don't
AGENT0:17
and
HOMEOWNER09:14am
think it
AGENT0:17
then
HOMEOWNER0:40
was
AGENT0:17
how
HOMEOWNER3:16
put
AGENT0:17
about
HOMEOWNER0:07
on
AGENT0:40
your,
HOMEOWNER09:14am
properly.
AGENT09:14am
uh, roof
HOMEOWNER9:50
I mean, because I
AGENT8:21
itself?
HOMEOWNER4:07
had
AGENT0:40
Have
HOMEOWNER0:07
a
AGENT0:17
you
HOMEOWNER09:14am
new roof
AGENT09:14am
had any
HOMEOWNER09:14am
put on the
AGENT09:14am
issues
HOMEOWNER7:56
garage,
AGENT9:52
with it, any leaks?
HOMEOWNER9:58
brand new. So the roof is brand new on the garage. And the people that did the garage looked to have come back and fixed a couple of leaks
AGENT0:17
OK
HOMEOWNER10:04
on this roof. So I don't know. Yup. Right,
AGENT10:14
Well, the good news is that
HOMEOWNER09:14am
yep, yep.
AGENT10:19
part of, part of that qualifying process like when the energy consultant that comes by and breaks that down for
HOMEOWNER0:07
No,
AGENT09:14am
you. They
HOMEOWNER0:17
because
AGENT0:17
do
HOMEOWNER0:17
you
AGENT09:14am
assess
HOMEOWNER09:14am
know they
AGENT0:17
the
HOMEOWNER09:14am
went
AGENT8:21
property
HOMEOWNER09:14am
up and fixed it
AGENT14:27
everything
HOMEOWNER1:17
or
AGENT09:14am
else.
HOMEOWNER09:14am
whatever, yeah.
AGENT10:26
obviously, an inspection will need to take place at a certain point just to make sure that it is good
HOMEOWNER1:17
Yeah, and
AGENT11:55
though.
HOMEOWNER10:27
it's gonna be hard cause I think,
AGENT11:55
no worries,
HOMEOWNER09:14am
uh-huh.
AGENT10:31
but as far as you know, no active leaks or anything like that currently?
HOMEOWNER10:33
What do you mean?
AGENT10:38
OK, perfect. Awesome. And then um uh how about credit
HOMEOWNER0:40
Oh
AGENT10:48
score?
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah,
AGENT09:15am
Would you say that you're over
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah, I
AGENT10:48
oh, sorry, uh, would you be, would you be over a 660 credit score? uh, credit score as far as like
HOMEOWNER09:15am
Doar,
AGENT10:49
your FICO score.
HOMEOWNER0:07
no.
AGENT11:00
OK, perfect. Um, all right, great. And then this is just a silly question, but I always have to ask, um, you don't have any type of existing solar system on your home, do you?
HOMEOWNER09:15am
00, I
AGENT0:17
OK,
HOMEOWNER2:34
see,
AGENT11:04
perfect. Yeah, sometimes we'll have
HOMEOWNER0:40
well,
AGENT0:40
um
HOMEOWNER1:17
yeah, yeah.
AGENT11:13
homeowners that we'll talk to and then they had just gotten solar and then I don't know where what happened, but sometimes they confuse it as if we're coming out to services system, but
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah.
AGENT11:14
this is something we have to ask.
HOMEOWNER11:16
do you know, I got another clip
AGENT0:46
Yeah
HOMEOWNER11:18
for you. Do you set anybody up with Win because I like Win too, actually.
AGENT09:15am
So, um,
HOMEOWNER0:46
It's
AGENT0:46
yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:40
but
AGENT09:15am
it looks
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT2:34
like
HOMEOWNER0:20
don't
AGENT09:15am
you'd be
HOMEOWNER2:34
know the
AGENT11:21
a good fit for the
HOMEOWNER09:15am
law on
AGENT0:17
program,
HOMEOWNER0:40
that
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER09:15am
anywhere
AGENT09:15am
so like I
HOMEOWNER09:15am
near.
AGENT11:24
mentioned to you, the next step is just
HOMEOWNER4:46
cause you
AGENT09:15am
to set you
HOMEOWNER2:34
see
AGENT11:18
up with
HOMEOWNER11:44
wind
AGENT09:15am
an energy
HOMEOWNER0:40
as
AGENT5:14
consultant.
HOMEOWNER14:07
much.
AGENT0:40
Um,
HOMEOWNER0:17
Uh,
AGENT11:26
what they do is they're gonna
HOMEOWNER09:15am
generators.
AGENT09:15am
come by the
HOMEOWNER11:35
You don't, OK So I don't, yeah,
AGENT11:37
for what exactly
HOMEOWNER11:38
I, I don't know if it's quite
AGENT5:14
When
HOMEOWNER11:39
there yet, but yeah.
AGENT11:44
wind generated. No, I do not. I may have a connection for it. Um,
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK
AGENT11:50
I'll, I'll, I'll make some calls after this and I'll see if there's any um if I can get you a number for that one as well too.
HOMEOWNER11:52
Yeah, that's fine
AGENT11:55
Yeah, no worries. I'll, I'll make a call though.
HOMEOWNER0:40
Um,
AGENT11:57
I'll see if there's anything I can, uh, connect
HOMEOWNER1:48
let
AGENT0:17
you
HOMEOWNER0:17
me
AGENT2:34
with,
HOMEOWNER09:16am
see. Well, I
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER11:59
work from home.
AGENT0:40
but, um,
HOMEOWNER09:16am
Well, well,
AGENT0:56
what
HOMEOWNER0:17
how
AGENT09:16am
I was saying
HOMEOWNER09:16am
later
AGENT0:40
is
HOMEOWNER0:40
in the
AGENT12:01
that typically
HOMEOWNER0:07
afternoon?
AGENT12:08
it's about a 30 to 45 minute uh consultation, um, make sure they can answer all of your questions. Uh, would you prefer mornings or afternoons?
HOMEOWNER12:15
Oh, how cool. OK. OK. So something in the evening. Yeah, something in the evening, more towards the evening, um. yeah.
AGENT0:17
Uh,
HOMEOWNER0:40
maybe
AGENT6:24
so they,
HOMEOWNER09:16am
about 7
AGENT12:21
uh, they have availability typically between 9 a.m. and as late as 8:00
HOMEOWNER09:16am
or 666
AGENT09:16am
p.m. if you, you
HOMEOWNER5:14
would
AGENT12:08
prefer
HOMEOWNER12:15
even
AGENT3:41
something
HOMEOWNER2:34
work.
AGENT0:17
you.
HOMEOWNER12:29
Oh, OK. Um, yeah, I guess tomorrow would work. I'm like, oh well, yeah. I'm like,
AGENT0:17
OK,
HOMEOWNER12:30
uh, starting to get ready
AGENT5:14
would you
HOMEOWNER12:32
to paint the dining room.
AGENT12:37
7? OK. So, would time tomorrow at 7 work or today?
HOMEOWNER0:40
Um
AGENT13:31
OK, perfect. So
HOMEOWNER12:46
no, that's fine. No, no, no, no, that's fine, that's fine.
AGENT09:17am
are you OK
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah.
AGENT0:17
Uh,
HOMEOWNER0:40
Oh,
AGENT12:49
so, do, would you
HOMEOWNER0:17
you
AGENT12:08
prefer
HOMEOWNER1:48
know what,
AGENT12:29
tomorrow
HOMEOWNER0:46
yeah,
AGENT0:40
at
HOMEOWNER2:34
can
AGENT1:17
7?
HOMEOWNER13:12
we do
AGENT12:51
Is that, does that
HOMEOWNER12:51
that actually? No, I
AGENT2:34
work?
HOMEOWNER0:20
think,
AGENT09:17am
or do you have
HOMEOWNER09:17am
we push out to
AGENT0:17
some
HOMEOWNER11:24
next
AGENT0:40
um
HOMEOWNER1:48
week?
AGENT12:58
painting to get done. I can, I can, uh, I, I can make it a little bit flexible even
HOMEOWNER1:17
Or
AGENT1:17
for
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT0:07
a
HOMEOWNER4:46
didn't
AGENT4:55
different
HOMEOWNER09:17am
know how
AGENT1:48
time?
HOMEOWNER13:01
far you can push it. I was like, cause I'll be painting all weekend,
AGENT0:17
OK
HOMEOWNER7:56
but yeah.
AGENT13:05
Perfect. So I'll set you up for tomorrow at
HOMEOWNER13:09
Oh, I see what you're saying. OK, that's fine.
AGENT8:49
let me just
HOMEOWNER1:07
Then, you
AGENT09:17am
double
HOMEOWNER09:17am
know, let's
AGENT14:27
check.
HOMEOWNER13:11
do it, let's do it.
AGENT0:40
Um
HOMEOWNER13:12
Can we do it at 6? Do you
AGENT09:17am
give me
HOMEOWNER0:40
have a
AGENT09:17am
second
HOMEOWNER1:17
6
AGENT0:40
here
HOMEOWNER13:14
p.m. tomorrow? Yeah.
AGENT0:46
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER09:17am
Yeah, let's
AGENT0:07
I
HOMEOWNER0:17
do
AGENT0:20
think
HOMEOWNER1:17
6.
AGENT0:17
we,
HOMEOWNER09:17am
Uh-huh
AGENT13:31
yeah, we do have uh some in the area this week, uh next week, a little, if possible, we can, if we, if we could do 7, yeah. Yeah, yeah, 6 and 7's open. OK, perfect. So I'll,
HOMEOWNER11:50
If I can,
AGENT0:40
I'll
HOMEOWNER09:18am
but like I
AGENT13:05
I'll set
HOMEOWNER1:48
said,
AGENT0:17
you
HOMEOWNER0:17
it
AGENT0:40
up
HOMEOWNER1:48
says
AGENT1:17
for
HOMEOWNER1:48
it wasn't
AGENT12:37
tomorrow at
HOMEOWNER1:48
available
AGENT1:17
6.
HOMEOWNER09:18am
when I
AGENT0:17
be
HOMEOWNER8:14
looked
AGENT09:18am
sending you
HOMEOWNER0:17
today.
AGENT13:35
over a confirmation text
HOMEOWNER0:40
But,
AGENT0:40
right
HOMEOWNER0:40
oh,
AGENT09:18am
now and then
HOMEOWNER09:18am
could do it,
AGENT09:18am
if you could just do
HOMEOWNER0:40
but
AGENT09:18am
me a favor,
HOMEOWNER13:37
thought maybe
AGENT0:40
um,
HOMEOWNER13:58
an older
AGENT09:18am
just very
HOMEOWNER13:38
one would probably
AGENT13:38
important if you
HOMEOWNER2:34
work
AGENT2:34
can
HOMEOWNER4:07
too,
AGENT0:40
um
HOMEOWNER1:17
huh?
AGENT13:40
just send me a screenshot
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK
AGENT13:41
if you have the
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah,
AGENT09:18am
bill once
HOMEOWNER09:18am
could try
AGENT0:17
you,
HOMEOWNER0:40
that.
AGENT09:18am
once you
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK.
AGENT13:51
have it. It's just the bar graph, uh, that's basically how they generate the savings report and so you got. OK Yeah, yeah, even if you have an older one, that, that should work, um.
HOMEOWNER13:59
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I am.
AGENT14:03
perfect. And then let's go here
HOMEOWNER3:16
But I
AGENT0:17
And
HOMEOWNER09:18am
remember
AGENT09:18am
then the last
HOMEOWNER14:04
always thinking,
AGENT14:04
question because
HOMEOWNER3:07
man,
AGENT4:55
I know
HOMEOWNER0:17
do
AGENT0:17
we
HOMEOWNER0:40
I have
AGENT09:18am
touched
HOMEOWNER09:18am
a leak?
AGENT09:18am
on it. Uh, you
HOMEOWNER1:48
I was
AGENT11:24
mentioned
HOMEOWNER09:18am
like, how do
AGENT0:40
that,
HOMEOWNER14:07
I use this much
AGENT09:18am
uh, as
HOMEOWNER14:09
water,
AGENT09:18am
far as your
HOMEOWNER1:17
you know,
AGENT09:18am
bill, you
HOMEOWNER09:18am
putting
AGENT1:48
said
HOMEOWNER09:18am
implants
AGENT14:09
that you're, you,
HOMEOWNER14:09
takes a lot of water.
AGENT14:16
you're pretty sure that you're over at least the $60 a month. OK,
HOMEOWNER0:40
Oh
AGENT14:27
perfect. OK. So everything checks out here. So I'll go ahead and uh send you the confirmation. Yeah, oh yeah, but most people are. I just always like to
HOMEOWNER0:17
All
AGENT8:49
just ask,
HOMEOWNER0:40
right
AGENT14:36
but either way, the consultant will kind of break that down for you and, and, and, and review everything with you. Um, so I'll send you the confirmation text right now if you can or
HOMEOWNER0:17
All
AGENT0:40
if
HOMEOWNER0:40
right.
AGENT09:19am
not, just make
HOMEOWNER0:07
I
AGENT8:49
sure you
HOMEOWNER6:01
will,
AGENT13:41
have the
HOMEOWNER09:19am
thank you.
AGENT14:40
bill for the meeting, um, and then if you could just
HOMEOWNER09:19am
Uh-huh,
AGENT8:28
give my
HOMEOWNER14:59
bye
AGENT14:59
message a thumbs up just to make sure you received it. You should be good to go All right, Brad, it was uh nice speaking with you again. My name's Andrew, uh, uh, if you have any other questions in the meantime just shoot me a text, OK? All right, no problem. Take care, bye. Bye.

then the solar, the solar and I think like they, they do the solar situation and you're responsible for it.
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER3:55
Um, if you sell the house or if the new owner doesn't want it, it was like, it was just too, too much and I didn't want to deal with any of that.
AGENT3:08
No, yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:14
So
AGENT3:57
of course, of course.
HOMEOWNER0:14
so
AGENT1:54
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER4:02
because of that, and this is similar to that. I'm not gonna be interested. I'm very specific on everything. And, and I asked too many questions and I'm very
AGENT0:25
No,
HOMEOWNER2:04
specific.
AGENT2:37
it's OK
HOMEOWNER4:25
On, on how it runs, how any, you know, because people need to make money and if they're thinking they're making money, getting all these people into these programs when they don't ask the right questions and they're very thorough, that ain't gonna be me. So, right off the bat, I can tell you because of that, you can let me know if this is something
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER4:44
that like improved or is this something, again, um similar to what I'm talking about with the restrictions and, and, and then I'm like and then I have to like sell
AGENT1:54
Yeah
HOMEOWNER4:53
uh be responsible for all those stuff. Does that make sense?
AGENT5:58
No, that makes a 100% sense. And I'm glad you have those concerns because I wouldn't recommend program to you that, you know, has those type of restrictions. Honestly, I don't know what type of program they were talking to you about before because with these newer programs, I would want to say they rolled out about a year ago and there shouldn't be any restrictions on them. So what happens is when you get a solar system, it accounts for all your energy usage for the entire year, right? So the energy consultant does is they take into consideration any future usage you might have any plans on, so like getting an electric vehicle or anything like that. And that system is supposed to produce energy for you, so you're able to use it freely and whenever you want. So the fact that they are saying that you're gonna have restrictions on the system, doesn't really make sense to me, and that's not a program that I heard of at all. Uh, at least in regards to the programs that are now out and running for certain homeowners, right? Because at the end of the day, like you said, you do need to be able to qualify for these programs. So as long as you're able to, you shouldn't have any rest ri ction s on the system and when you're able or not able to use it. Does that
HOMEOWNER02:41pm
Uh-huh
AGENT6:00
kinda make sense so far for us?
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah
AGENT6:23
Yeah, OK. Well, I mean, I, my job's really simple. It's actually just to ask you a couple questions just of course to see if you are a good fit from what it sounds like it sounds like you potentially could be. And then the next step is just, of course, sitting with one of the consultants so they can break the new program down to you, show you how you can benefit from it and then actually show you how and when you're able to use it because you're able to use it whenever you want. OK?
HOMEOWNER10:07
Mhm.
AGENT6:33
OK. A quick question for you then for us, for your home, do you have any big trees or tall buildings that provide shade over the roof by any chance?
HOMEOWNER6:38
I don't think so now. They don't provide
···
HOMEOWNER0:06
Hello
AGENT0:06
Hi, hello. Is this for us
HOMEOWNER1:56
Yes
AGENT0:14
Hey, Fros, this is Josh. I was just giving you a call here. I believe you just spoke with someone on my team regarding the new energy program. How are you doing today?
HOMEOWNER0:16
I'm doing good. How are you
AGENT0:25
I'm doing really good for us. Thank you for asking. Uh, of course, I, I just wanted to reach out to you, see if you got the notice in the mail about the rate increases with DWP. Did you happen to see that?
HOMEOWNER0:25
No
AGENT0:41
No? OK. Well, they did uh send a notice out earlier in the year stating that the rates are gonna continue to go up by 15%. So a lot of homeowners are seeing that impact, but if you don't mind me asking for asking how much you spent on your most recent power bill with DWP?
HOMEOWNER0:46
Well, I believe water and electricity come together and it's normally
AGENT1:05
Correct.
HOMEOWNER0:48
a little over 2000.
AGENT1:05
Wow, OK. Got you. So you're definitely paying a, a high amount. I know, like you said, right, Water and power do come together. So typically, right, energy tends to be half of the bill. Sometimes a little bit more depending on how much you use. But on a monthly basis, then you're probably paying around $500 as of right now for your energy, correct?
HOMEOWNER1:14
Um I, well, I think, I believe it's, is it every month or every other month? I don't even know, to be honest with you, I
AGENT1:54
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER02:36pm
get it every
AGENT1:22
so, for DWP it typically is every other month. So if you break it down on a monthly basis, you're roughly like around 500 dollars-ish?
HOMEOWNER1:54
yeah
AGENT1:54
Yeah?
HOMEOWNER1:54
yeah.
AGENT1:50
OK. Got you for us. Well, that's why we are calling cause I know what these rate increases, it's just bound to go even higher now. And that's the main reason why we're calling. Not only that, but there are brand new government endorsed solar programs that are very simple now. They're just helping homeowners eliminate their bill with DWP and helping you switch into a cheaper, more sustain able solar bill that will save you around 40% on what you're paying right now. Does that kind of makes sense so far?
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah, you're talking about the solar system, correct?
AGENT1:56
Correct, yes, yeah. It's in regards to the
HOMEOWNER2:28
Oh
AGENT1:58
newer programs that rolled out.
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK.
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER2:04
so um, I don't know what these programs are specifically I've had a meeting with uh with one company a while ago. I would say about um gosh, maybe even a year ago, if not more.
AGENT2:14
Around a year ago? OK.
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah,
AGENT6:51
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER2:21
and then they started talking and it ended up being not something I was interested in,
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER2:27
something because simply because it wasn't so much about the saving as all the restrictions. Um
AGENT2:28
Oh, restrictions. OK.
HOMEOWNER1:54
yeah,
AGENT5:58
And when
HOMEOWNER0:14
so
AGENT0:14
you
HOMEOWNER2:27
there's
AGENT2:31
say res uh, go ahead, sorry about that.
HOMEOWNER2:37
it's OK. So the restrictions where you can turn on your AC only in specific time of the day, and you can
AGENT1:50
That's
HOMEOWNER1:50
only
AGENT1:14
very
HOMEOWNER2:37
turn
AGENT3:20
strange.
HOMEOWNER02:38pm
it on. um,
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER2:42
specific time of for so long,
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER2:45
um, that kind of restriction and I don't,
AGENT1:05
Wow
HOMEOWNER2:49
I don't abide by any restrictions, and it's not something I would want.
AGENT1:54
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:06
Hi,
AGENT02:38pm
no, of
HOMEOWNER6:23
how you,
AGENT0:25
course.
HOMEOWNER2:57
how are you? Yeah. So because of that, I, I just voted against it. Um so, anyway.
AGENT3:08
No, yeah, of course, and I would be the exact same way, especially if you told me I'm gonna get solar but I'm restricted on when and how I can use it. I would
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah
AGENT3:20
definitely not move forward with that as well. So that's very strange. A quick question for you, do you remember the type of program it was like if you had to take out a loan, did you have to put down a down payment, anything like that? or was it a lease
HOMEOWNER0:25
No,
AGENT02:38pm
option?
HOMEOWNER3:24
I don't think it was any of that. Um,
AGENT02:38pm
Hmm,
HOMEOWNER0:14
it
AGENT0:14
OK
HOMEOWNER3:29
was, we qualified for it or they said that I qualified when they look at my bill,
AGENT1:54
Yeah
HOMEOWNER3:34
um, and it was about the restriction for me and
AGENT6:51
Gotcha
HOMEOWNER3:44
then the solar, the solar and I think like they, they do the solar situation and you're responsible for it.
AGENT10:07
And, and I asked too many questions and I'm very
AGENT0:25
No,
HOMEOWNER2:04
specific.
AGENT2:37
it's OK
HOMEOWNER4:25

uh be responsible for all those stuff. Does that make sense?

HOMEOWNER6:38
I don't think so now. They don't provide
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER6:41
the shade over the roof now. I have a few palm trees,
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER6:46
but they barely have any branches on them to provide any shades.
AGENT6:51
OK, gotcha. No problem. So if they do provide any, it's very minimal and it's not that long throughout the day,
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah,
AGENT1:05
correct?
HOMEOWNER6:53
I don't really think they provide anything matter of fact,
AGENT6:51
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER0:41
but
AGENT0:14
OK.
HOMEOWNER1:54
yeah.
AGENT7:01
No problem. And then for your roof condition, any leaks or damages you're aware of, anything like that or no?
HOMEOWNER6:38
I don't think so.
AGENT0:25
No
HOMEOWNER7:04
I don't know 100% for sure. I mean, when it barely rains out in California. And when it did rain, I don't really to remember and leaking anyway, so I don't think so.
AGENT7:22
OK, that's good. That's good. And then for the type of roof you have, is it like a concrete tile, clay tile, shingles? Do you happen to know?
HOMEOWNER7:29
It's those things that are like um maybe the shingles are called. I don't know what they're called. They're uh they're the one that um like they're bent, they're
AGENT7:35
Oh, OK, they have like a half dome
HOMEOWNER0:06
I
AGENT02:43pm
shape.
HOMEOWNER7:47
actually like Mallorami a roof shingles alakawale. roof Haaksubingallo shingle tariff. Yeah, I think, I think they might be shingles, to be
AGENT7:22
Shingle?
HOMEOWNER02:43pm
quite honest
AGENT0:14
OK.
HOMEOWNER1:14
with you. I
AGENT8:17
Perfect.
HOMEOWNER6:38
think so.
AGENT7:54
No problem at all. And is there anyone else that owns the property with you that's on title
HOMEOWNER0:25
No
AGENT7:56
like a spouse, no, just yourself?
HOMEOWNER02:43pm
No, just me
AGENT8:08
No worries. And lastly, of course, for us, since these programs are government incentivized. You would just need to have a good standing credit score of at least 670 or higher, so I'm guessing you're good on that end as well, correct?
HOMEOWNER8:13
I think I have like I think I have over 800
AGENT8:17
Oh, perfect. Then that shouldn't be an issue at all. OK. Well, it definitely seems
HOMEOWNER0:06
Is
AGENT02:43pm
like for
HOMEOWNER1:50
there
AGENT0:06
us,
HOMEOWNER8:21
a down payment for this or is there any upfront money or is there any money so I
AGENT02:43pm
nothing.
HOMEOWNER8:24
can like cause, cause yeah, cause that could answer a lot of the question.
AGENT1:54
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:16
I'm
AGENT02:43pm
nothing
HOMEOWNER8:27
not paying anything whatsoever. I said,
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER8:31
I'm not gonna be taking on some sort of a loan. I'm not
AGENT10:07
Mhm
HOMEOWNER8:33
gonna be signing for any of those things, just FYI.
AGENT8:34
Correct. Correct,
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK
AGENT8:53
yes. Yeah. So with these new programs, that is not required anymore, so there's no loans, no liens on the property, no down payment. It's very transferable to the next homeowner, and these are all questions that the energy consultant can actually answer for you during the consultation and show you a full breakdown of how much you can save compared to what you're spending right now as well. OK. Perfect then for us. So, when it comes down to your availability just typically like a morning time or sometime in the afternoon work better for you?
HOMEOWNER9:09
Um, it just depends, certain days, so it depends on what I can do either or.
AGENT9:25
Either or? OK, perfect then. Let me just check here cause I do know we have some consultants available this week and if like morning time works. I do see Wednesday mornings available and if the afternoon works, I do see we have Thursday this afternoon available as well.
HOMEOWNER9:32
So when you say um when you say Thursday, what
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER9:34
are we talking about like afternoon
AGENT9:44
Yeah. So what happens is the energy consultant just stops by. They take a look at your latest utility bill. They draft up a savings report for you. They show you the new program, they answer any questions or
HOMEOWNER0:25
No,
AGENT5:58
concerns
HOMEOWNER0:25
no,
AGENT0:14
you
HOMEOWNER0:06
I
AGENT2:14
may
HOMEOWNER02:45pm
meant
AGENT3:20
have.
HOMEOWNER9:46
time-wise, time-wise.
AGENT02:45pm
Oh, timewise,
HOMEOWNER0:06
Or
AGENT0:25
got
HOMEOWNER1:05
like,
AGENT0:14
you.
HOMEOWNER9:48
like, yeah, so, so time-wise, like,
AGENT10:07
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER9:51
let's say Wednesday, what time are we talking about in the
AGENT1:54
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER9:03
morning?
AGENT10:02
so for Wednesday, it looks like here I have from 9 a.m. all the way to around 11:30 available and then Thursday, I have, it looks like 12 p.m. all the way to 7 p.m. available.
HOMEOWNER10:04
Uh, all the way to 7 p.m.?
AGENT10:07
Mhm, correct or Thursday.
HOMEOWNER10:15
um, for Thursday. Like, can we do 6 o'clock on Thursday?
AGENT10:30
Uh, yeah, yeah, I definitely can. I do see that spot open here, so I can definitely go ahead and put you down for 6 o'clock on Thursday, which would be the 4th. Now, for the utility bill, you do get for us. Do you get that online or in the mail?
HOMEOWNER10:30
Online
AGENT10:52
Online? Perfect. Cause what I'm gonna do, I'm just gonna send you a text message confirmation. It's just confirming the time and date, so of course, for this Thursday at 6. If you have some time, if you're able to take a screenshot of page 3 of your utility bill. It shows a bar graph. If you're able to send that into us, we can actually save you some time during the consultation because that's how they're gonna draft up the savings report for you, OK?
HOMEOWNER10:58
Uh, you want me to take a, a screenshot of
AGENT02:46pm
Yeah, like
HOMEOWNER0:25
uh
AGENT11:10
on your phone if you're able to log in or if you're able to take a picture. If for any reason you're unable to send it, just as long as you have that available for the consultant on Thursday. That's just really important because that's how they're gonna draft up the savings report for you.
HOMEOWNER11:15
do they scan it and they come up with the thing. I mean, it's a barcode. Is that what you're saying?
AGENT11:20
Yeah, so it's a, it's a bar graph that shows your annual usage for the entire year. So it
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah
AGENT11:25
shows how much energy you're using. So that's what they're gonna go ahead and break down numbers wise and show you how they're gonna come up with the numbers they
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK
AGENT11:27
come up with. Mhm.
HOMEOWNER12:19
That's fine.
AGENT11:42
Awesome then. Perfect then for us, so I got you all set then for it looks like Thursday at 6. Now we do work as a first come, first serve, so what that typically means is since you're taking that time, another homeowner won't be able to take advantage of it. So I really just wanna make sure that Thursday at 6 is a good time for you.
HOMEOWNER11:45
It is a good time. Yeah, and you have the address?
AGENT11:50
Uh, yes, I believe so. It's the one here on 10325 Edgebrook.
HOMEOWNER1:54
Yeah.
AGENT11:50
Is that correct?
HOMEOWNER02:47pm
And also,
AGENT0:14
OK.
HOMEOWNER11:52
it's a gated area.
AGENT02:47pm
Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER11:58
and we do have a, a code for the gate, a gate code.
AGENT12:05
OK, perfect. I can definitely let the energy consultant know that. So the energy consultant that would be going to you, his name would be Bashoy Lay.
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK
AGENT12:08
Mhm. Awesome. And
HOMEOWNER0:14
So
AGENT12:15
then, uh, if you want to provide for me the gate code, I can also go ahead and let them know so that he can go ahead and input it when uh and on his arrival at Thursday
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK,
AGENT10:52
at 6.
HOMEOWNER12:19
that's fine. I can give it to you. It is pound 6714.
AGENT12:21
Mhm. around 6714. OK, perfect.
HOMEOWNER10:07
Mhm.
AGENT12:26
Awesome then. So you're all set for us and we look forward to meeting you this, uh, Thursday at 6.
HOMEOWNER02:47pm
OK, thank you
AGENT12:29
Awesome, no problem. You have a great day.
HOMEOWNER12:30
You too. Bye-bye
AGENT12:30
Bye-bye.

AGENT05:31pm
OK

uh, we're gonna be passing on this.
AGENT05:31pm
Gotcha, no worries. I, I did just wanna let you know, right? She is paying pretty high in her high months, so her average, like we talked about yesterday was around that 150. And then like I mentioned, right, we get you closer to that 17 to 20 cents, uh, in regards to the price per kilowatt. So it's definitely gonna see, still see savings with it. It's just
HOMEOWNER05:32pm

it's how much the system produces for her, right? So instead of purchasing the energy from her energy provider, which I believe it's LADWP at this point or is it California Edison? She eliminates that
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
Yeah.
AGENT05:32pm
and now she just purchases it from that solar system at that cheaper rate. So whether that's 17 or that's 20 cents
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
yeah, so how do you guys determine how you is it usage or is it? based off of how much um, again I don't, I don't know how the term, but how much

HOMEOWNER05:31pm
Yeah, I, I took a look at it and, and looked at my mom's uh bills.
AGENT05:31pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
She's only paying averages 22 cents uh
AGENT05:31pm
Yeah, probably not. I mean, if you already
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
a kilowatt
AGENT05:31pm
bought
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
hour, so
AGENT05:31pm
uh
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
I don't, and then I don't wanna be stuck with, you

AGENT05:32pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
power or how much electricity it collects.
AGENT05:32pm
Yeah, it's based on how much energy she produces, right? Because that system's gonna produce for her that 10,000 kilowatts. So it's gonna produce whatever she uses for her last year's cycle. And that's what we're gonna charge you is whatever that system produces for her.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
OK
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm. So
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
How
AGENT05:33pm
she's still definitely
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
is
AGENT05:33pm
gonna
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
that a
AGENT05:33pm
be
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
possibility that it produces more than what she's gonna use. Let's say she goes on vacation
AGENT05:33pm
mhm
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
for half the year.
AGENT05:33pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
and, you know, no power for six months.
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
She's still gonna get charged the full year like if she was home all year long.
AGENT05:33pm
That is correct because it's what the system produces for her, but that, that's if
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
I.
AGENT05:33pm
she were to go on like right vacation for that long, but it's what that system produces for the homeowner and that's what it charges. That's it. So
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
Yeah, and,
AGENT05:33pm
even
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
and with
AGENT05:33pm
on
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
the battery, I'm assuming produce. let's again, example is the 10,000. produce 10,000 because of the battery pulling in. getting filled up during, during the day and then her using it at night
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
Yeah
AGENT05:33pm
Gotcha. Yeah, so if she were to have a battery pack and quick question again, we're, we're she with California Edison or LEDWP?
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
uh uh Southern California Edison.
AGENT05:34pm
Southern California. OK. So it's actually recommended she has a battery pack because what happens with California Edison is if homeowners were to go solar. If you do not have a battery pack, any excess energy that she were to produce actually gets sent back to them, and they don't give you 100% for whatever you generate, right? So if she were to generate 1000
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
right
AGENT05:34pm
kilowatts for them.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
Yeah, yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
They only give
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
her 25,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and I,
AGENT05:34pm
yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I, yeah, I know that especially now
AGENT05:34pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
that they update or I don't know when they did it, but the, the the, uh, when they went to the new 3 or whatever it's called like
AGENT05:34pm
Uh, net metering, yeah, 3.0.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
yeah not metering 3, yeah, they give a lot less because I, I got in earlier so I get,
AGENT05:34pm
Oh,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I
AGENT05:34pm
that's
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
don't get
AGENT05:34pm
good
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
the full 100% but I got
AGENT05:34pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
in on the tube.
AGENT05:34pm
Got you.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
so
AGENT05:34pm
So you,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
get
AGENT05:34pm
you
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
more
AGENT05:34pm
got in
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
back
AGENT05:34pm
that net meeting 2.0. That's good.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
Yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
Well,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and I
AGENT05:34pm
at least
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
wish,
AGENT05:34pm
you get a little
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and
AGENT05:34pm
bit more.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
do wish, yeah, I wish I would have known a little bit more at the time
AGENT05:34pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I bought mine because I would have got the battery as well, but I didn't.
AGENT05:34pm
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
um
AGENT05:34pm
No, and I completely understand. I mean, uh, at least I still think it's worth at least sitting down and seeing what we could do for you because she's still, it's averaging that, you know, 150. And I know for a fact we can get her down definitely lower than that. So
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
well,
AGENT05:35pm
I,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, uh,
AGENT05:35pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, it's gonna be lower because again, I, I did the math for the past 3 years.
AGENT05:35pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
and she's averaging 24 with, you know, of of course every year it kind of goes a little bit higher just because of the cost,
AGENT05:35pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
but she's even like this the past 3 months she's averaging 23 cents a kilowatt hour. Uh oh, I don't know if that's the right term, but it's 23 cents per whatever however they, they calculate.
AGENT05:35pm
Gotcha,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
uh
AGENT05:35pm
gotcha. Yeah. Cause it depends
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
so
AGENT05:35pm
on the time of day as well, like what she uses.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
right,
AGENT05:35pm
So like
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
and
AGENT05:35pm
if she uses
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
right.
AGENT05:35pm
early morning, that's probably what, 20 cents and then middle of the day is probably that 23 and then the peak is like
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
Uh,
AGENT05:35pm
30,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
for
AGENT05:35pm
35.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, yeah, I don't remember exactly, but yeah, it's, it's just averages out. I just look at how much you used for the day or for the month divided by the price of the what they charge her. So I just don't think, you know because right now you're saying 2017 to 20 some cents.
AGENT05:36pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
is there and then I, I think you mentioned that it's not gonna go up.
AGENT05:36pm
Correct. It gets
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
after
AGENT05:36pm
locked like that, but it depends on the size of the system. So like, if she were to get a smaller system, right, because it depends on how much she's using for the entire year. Um,
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
right
AGENT05:36pm
then she can get locked in at a lower price per kilowatt, right? Because now that system's not uh bigger, she's using way less energy and so like, it, it really all depends on the size of the system. It's hard to give numbers out when I'm not looking at the bill and seeing exactly how much she's currently using. But that's why I say it's, it's at least worth having the consultation to see if it, she can definitely see the savings from that point. You know, just to, just to have a peace of mind as well, especially with these rate increases. I mean, you're well aware of them as well. We talked about it yesterday.
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
Yeah, I just, I'm not, I'm not too keen on the 25 year.
AGENT05:36pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
I guess lease or or term maybe not a lease but the term.
AGENT05:37pm
OK. I mean, there are other options for homeowners. I know there's a new one rolling out that keeps you locked in, like locked in and fixed without the bill ever going up. Uh, their newer programs rolling out. We're actually learning about them. We actually learned about them this week, so we're advising homeowners of them this following week. If that's something you wanna look into as well. Our energy consultant can actually talk to you guys about that because from what we're hearing, these programs are gonna be a lot better for the homeowners because it acts almost as like a, like uh owning the system as soon as that 5 years is up, but it that price would always stay fixed for that duration. Like it would all like at that point. Does that make
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
and
AGENT05:37pm
a little
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
that
AGENT05:37pm
sense?
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
yeah, and then during, OK, just going back to the, during the 25 year
AGENT05:37pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
term. if let's say the uh you know, the, the, I don't know the name of it, but the, the
AGENT05:37pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
piece that converts the power or however I,
AGENT05:37pm
Oh, the inverters
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
uh. yeah, if that goes out then we end up using the Southern California's Edison until it gets repaired, right?
AGENT05:38pm
Correct, yeah, so it,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
Right
AGENT05:38pm
well, the inverters, they're each for each panel, right? So if one inverter goes out, that doesn't
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
OK, no,
AGENT05:38pm
mean
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
no,
AGENT05:38pm
your

Maybe, yeah
AGENT05:38pm
Yeah, that,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
Uh,
AGENT05:38pm
that's the one that controls
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
if
AGENT05:38pm
the, or that's the one that brings in all that energy. So you're saying if your
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
yeah,
AGENT05:38pm
main
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
so if that goes
AGENT05:38pm
were
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
out,
AGENT05:38pm
to go up.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
right, so if that goes out then we end up until it gets repaired, we end up having to um use Southern California's or Edison's power
AGENT05:38pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
until it gets repaired, right?
AGENT05:38pm
Correct. Well, what I can tell you is if your main panel unit were to go out, not even California Edison can bring you power to your home cause your main power unit, right, is what helps turn on everything on your property. So if that were
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
No,
AGENT05:38pm
to go
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
I,
AGENT05:38pm
out,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
OK,
AGENT05:38pm
yeah, that, yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
it's then it's not that uh it's,
AGENT05:38pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
I don't know the name of it, but it's
AGENT05:38pm
It's,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
and
AGENT05:39pm
it's
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
it
AGENT05:39pm
probably,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
could be different cause
AGENT05:39pm
yeah, it's probably the system itself you're talking like if the solar system were to go out, correct?
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
yes,
AGENT05:39pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
yeah, the, the panel that controls us that, again, I don't know the if it's what it's called, but at least in my house, I have to, like we're at some time and I don't know if having a battery changes things, but the so, so what happened with me is the solar panel, so that went out on me once.
AGENT05:39pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
um, and then, well, I have, I went to Tesla, so they, they went ahead and replaced it, but during the time that I was waiting for it to get replaced. pretty much Edison was providing all the power to me instead of solar. during the day
AGENT05:39pm
Correct,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
Uh
AGENT05:39pm
yes, and yes.
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
Now, so if that part goes out, then we're gonna for, for this system. what do you guys how fast can you guys get to replace that?
AGENT05:39pm
Yeah, especially if it's something serious as you have no power from that system. We're out the next day. Uh, I can assure you that because there has been,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
uh
AGENT05:39pm
you know, some homeowners that reach out to us saying, hey,
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
uh.
AGENT05:40pm
uh, a panel or two of mine are out.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
out
AGENT05:40pm
We're out the next day because we're acting as the new energy provider, essentially, right? Since that system's on top of your house and you're getting energy from that. We would need to respond to that right away. So we, we're out pretty much next day if anything the following day after that.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
and then you guys are mon or maybe
AGENT05:40pm
Hm.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
not you but whoever we end up doing the contract with is it are they monitoring the system or do we as the owners we have to call you guys.
AGENT05:40pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
call
AGENT05:40pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
them to have, you know, to report the issue.
AGENT05:40pm
Yeah, really good question. So, it does come with a monitoring app. So it's an application where you can check on a daily basis. So if you see something that is a little wrong with the system where you see that a panel's not pulling in energy, you would need to notify us right away so we can go out there and do that. Now, if we notice that the whole entire system's not working and there's nothing being reported, then that's when we'll probably, we'll reach out to you and be like, hey, um, is everything OK with your system? Have you got a checking bill or anything like that? But if it's something in regards to like, oh, you know, uh one of my paddles are a little bit off in production. Then, of course, that would be something the homeowner would need to check on their mobile app.
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
OK
AGENT05:41pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
I guess whenever those other plans come around, maybe you got you can reach out to me to see if those uh and then I guess I didn't really catch exactly what the new plans. It's just, yeah, I'm just not keen and that's why we didn't lease back then. It's just I don't care to be in a long term contract.
AGENT05:41pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
and
AGENT05:41pm
Mhm. No,
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
because we
AGENT05:41pm
yeah, there
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
never know if we decide to needed to sell, that's gonna make things a bit harder to sell. um I, I'm sure again I don't know if it's how much
AGENT05:41pm
I
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
different it sounds like at least. I know it's a little bit different than a lease, but it's still, um, I don't, you know, if we decide to sell the buyer. is going to have to, I don't, does it automatically go to the buyer to the new
AGENT05:42pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
buyer, or
AGENT05:42pm
Correct.
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
do they have
AGENT05:42pm
Automatically
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
to get, have so there's no like credit or anything. that needs to be checked
AGENT05:42pm
mm mm. Yeah, nothing like that with these newer programs with the power purchase agreements. They're not like the programs from the past. I know there was horror stories in the past where homeowners need to qualify not only for the home, but now for the solar, and they have to run their credit twice. It's nothing in regards to that with the power purchase agreement, you're, the, the savings that your mother is seeing, she can easily pass that on to the next homeowner and now the homeowner, it's kind of like calling into California to, you know how if you buy a new property, you need to call and be like, hey, I'm
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
Yeah.
AGENT05:42pm
the new homeowner, uh, here's my information. Uh, I'll, I'll be, uh, one making the payments now. Same exact
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
Now
AGENT05:42pm
thing with
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
what
AGENT05:42pm
the solar.
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
yeah, now what if we decide to or we wanna move it to one of our other properties.
AGENT05:42pm
Mm. Gotcha. That's a really good question. I actually don't get asked that a lot, but I'm glad that you did. So if you would want to move the solar, that home is tailored or that solar is tailored for that home, right? Because each home and their energy usage is different. So if you were to like own the system, by all means, you can take it down and take it with you. But we really don't recommend that for homeowners, because right, if you were to take that to a new property. It's not gonna compare to the same energy usage you had on the other property, right? Cause it depends on how big the home was, uh, right, the energy appliances that were in there for more energy efficient or not. So we always recommend homeowners if they were to get solar, if you wanted to move it, the only way you could is if you were to like purchase your cash or finance, but if it's part of a power purchase agreement, then of course it would stay on that property and that new homeowner just takes over it.
HOMEOWNER05:43pm
OK
AGENT05:43pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:43pm
And then I guess another question is what if we later on we end up needing or we end up using I um I I guess example is I move in with my family over to this house.
AGENT05:44pm
Yeah, you,
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
and
AGENT05:44pm
you use more energy.
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
now we're using more electricity.
AGENT05:44pm
Mhm. Yeah, really good question. Well, that's something
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
and we
AGENT05:44pm
you
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
upgrade later?
AGENT05:44pm
yeah, I mean, that's definitely something that's in the, in the works for homeowners. So if they have existing systems, let's just say for instance if you get an electric vehicle or you do plan on adding a pool. We can definitely add to that system now, but I always like to recommend homeowners if you are looking into solar and if you any future plans of either adding to the property, getting an electric vehicle, maybe adding a jacuzzi or pool, something that draws a lot of power. You want to be pretty transparent with the energy consultant because what they can do is they can add future consumption in for you. So when you do make that switch, you won't get hit the second go from California Edison.
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
Yeah
AGENT05:44pm
Yeah, but
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
right
AGENT05:44pm
if, let's just say for instance, something were to come up that, oh, a family member needs to move in, it's an emergency and you didn't see it coming, then of course we can add to that system as well.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
yeah, and those other plans that you were mentioning,
AGENT05:45pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
is that something that's coming out soon or it's already
AGENT05:45pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
out or?
AGENT05:45pm
no, it's already out. Uh, we're just, uh, uh implementing it for homeowners this upcoming week so that's something that my energy consultant can actually talk to you guys about as well. Um, if you have some availability, uh, I know they will be in the area in the later part of the week, uh, for you guys. So if you have
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
Yeah,
AGENT05:45pm
some
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
I
AGENT05:45pm
time,
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
just, I
AGENT05:45pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
honestly don't care to talk to someone in person. I prefer to do my research and then come up with questions and then get answered because the thing with in person it's
AGENT05:45pm
mhm
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
again I've, I've, I've been through this. They're really pushing on getting and getting in, getting in, uh, it, it just I'd rather not. I'd rather
AGENT05:45pm
Sure
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
just if you guys have a a package or something, you know,
AGENT05:45pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
like you did give me the link. I kind of did look into it uh yesterday. and uh kind of just seeing what the difference is between the, the a lease and this one, but
AGENT05:46pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
um.
AGENT05:46pm
I mean, if you like as well, we don't necessarily have to meet in person. If you wanna do like let's just say a Zoom call to where they can go over all that with you and answer any other additional questions and any any other links to you. They can do that as well. That's, that's not an issue. The only reason why, of course, we would want to do the in-person consultation it's because they do check the main panel unit and take some exterior photos of the roof just to make sure that the property is good to go. But if a Zoom consultation works for you, we can definitely do that as well to where they can just sit there, answer any questions you may have, and then, you know, provide to you the information that you need.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
OK, and then the, I guess to get the actual amount. or in the the I guess the per kilowatt hour
AGENT05:46pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
price. You guys would have to know exactly what size of uh system we're gonna
AGENT05:46pm
Correct, yes.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
be getting.
AGENT05:46pm
So what we'll need is just page 3 of your mother's utility bill. That shows a bar graph, that bar graph shows her annual usage for the entire year, right? So her high months, her low months, everything in between, and what we do is we calculate that to see how much energy she uses, and then based on how much energy she uses, that would be the correct system size that we give her. So that's why, you know, if you want to do that Zoom consultation as well, they can go over all that with you and show you the breakdown on how it works.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
OK, and then you, you said that you guys offer a purchase.
AGENT05:47pm
Correct. Yes, there's a
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
OK
AGENT05:47pm
finance options as well as cash options. So if either one works for you guys in that regard, they literally break down each program and see which one works best for, you know, in
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
now
AGENT05:47pm
your mother's
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
is there,
AGENT05:47pm
situation.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
do you know, is there a price difference of cash or finance?
AGENT05:47pm
Um, no,
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
uh
AGENT05:47pm
not that I know of. I know with finance, it's traditionally like, you know, financing a vehicle, so there might be um uh an interest on it in regards to the cash, it might be
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
well,
AGENT05:47pm
a little
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah,
AGENT05:47pm
bit cheaper,
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah, yeah,
AGENT05:47pm
but
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
for sure,
AGENT05:47pm
yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah, for sure with the loan. I'm just looking
AGENT05:47pm
yeah
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
at like I guess out the door price type of thing.
AGENT05:48pm
Oh
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
um
AGENT05:48pm
no, out the door traditionally, it's the same exact thing as the cash option. It's just, of course, if you were to finance it, then it has that interest on it.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
OK, yeah, because I think again, I, I, I don't, I don't really care for that long term
AGENT05:48pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
contract. So,
AGENT05:48pm
OK. Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
if
AGENT05:48pm
I
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
you
AGENT05:48pm
mean, that's
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
wanna,
AGENT05:48pm
definitely
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
yeah,
AGENT05:48pm
something
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
we can, we can set something up for maybe a a Zoom call just to kinda what is well I guess, uh, yeah, I can provide like the, the, the annual cost and how much it would be
AGENT05:48pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
as a for a purchase.
AGENT05:48pm
Of course, yeah, I mean, we could definitely do something like that. The only thing we would need prior to the Zoom consultation, it would actually be your mother's energy bill. So if you have that, we would need page one and page 3 of her latest utility bill because that would give us a better indication of what size system she needs and then that's what our energy consultant can actually go over the different options for you.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
OK, yeah, I can provide that page one, oops, let me get my notes here. page one and page 3.
AGENT05:49pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
OK, yeah, I can provide that and then yeah, I, I can also take a picture of her, of her panel.
AGENT05:49pm
Perfect. Yeah, that would work out great. And then uh what I can do for you is I can actually set that up for you tentatively if next week works best for you, like on the either a Wednesday or a Thursday in the afternoons or mornings. We do have that time slot available so I can send that Zoom link
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
that
AGENT05:49pm
over and you can meet with the consultant.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
OK, yeah, and then I know, I know the roof is fairly I guess new because it was, she had it done. 2020,
AGENT05:49pm
Oh, OK.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
a few years ago, so it's not, so
AGENT05:49pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
I don't have any issues with the roof. uh, as in like, you know, um. yeah, it should be fairly new so. we're good with that
AGENT05:49pm
Perfect. Yeah, as long as you're able to send uh page 1, page 3, and the picture of that main panel unit. I can definitely go ahead and set up that Zoom call and then we can go ahead and uh uh help you out with either the cash option, finance, or, or the power purchase agreement, whichever one you wanna look into, whichever one makes more sense, they can break that all down for you.
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
Yeah, OK, and then,
AGENT05:50pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
uh, yeah, so just do you want me to text you that information?
AGENT05:50pm
Uh, yes, yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
or
AGENT05:50pm
yeah, you can actually send it to this number here, the number I sent you the link to, uh, you can send me all
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
yeah
AGENT05:50pm
that and then what I can do in the meantime, I can tentatively set this for you. Would next week like around Wednesday or Thursday be good for you?
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
yeah, I think well let me, the one that should be uh good for me. Let me see. Well, no, actually my wife has a account I don't have that.
AGENT05:50pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
so I think Wednesday should be fine.
AGENT05:50pm
Gotcha. And then does the morning or afternoon work better for you, Mr. Garcia?
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
because he probably just I guess can we do like uh more of an evening call?
AGENT05:50pm
Evening? Yeah, of course. So like uh around this time
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
OK
AGENT05:50pm
good, like 5:30, 6.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
Uh, well, I normally today actually I got off a little bit early. I'm usually I should be available between 6:30, I guess maybe we can do 7.
AGENT05:51pm
Yeah, 7 is perfect because 7's the last uh time slot we do have for that day. So I can do 7.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
OK.
AGENT05:51pm
So I'll tentatively
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
yeah
AGENT05:51pm
set it for you for Wednesday at 7. Once you send me page 1, page 3, and that main panel unit, I can go ahead and call and confirm to make sure it's all set up.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
uh
AGENT05:51pm
Uh, but yeah, other than that, I, I can, uh, send you a text message just letting you know you're technically set for Wednesday at 7, and once we receive that, you'll be all set, OK?
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
OK, we can do that. All right, thanks.
AGENT05:51pm
Awesome. Sounds good, Mr. Garcia. Well, it was a pleasure speaking with you again. I'm, I'm happy I'm able to answer all your questions and then the consultant, of course, will be with you, but once you send all that over, we can go ahead and uh confirm for Wednesday at 7.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
Yeah, all right, thanks
AGENT05:51pm
Sounds good. You have a great, uh, day, Mr. Garcia and enjoy your weekend.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
All right you too thanks
AGENT05:51pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
bye
AGENT05:51pm
Bye-bye.

HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah, but the, the problem is here that um, I we reach. I mean, I reach them to show the company before and
AGENT10:25am
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER2:04
I am actually being on a review um planning to sell this house. So I'm not
AGENT1:58
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah.
AGENT2:14
Yeah, absolutely. And and let me ask you this, right? So
HOMEOWNER2:24
Um, probably in the next, uh, 6 months.
AGENT2:46
The next 6 months or so. Okay. Well the way that you can actually benefit with this program is you'd be a perfect fit for simply because 1 there's no initial investment you're making so you're not taking a loan out for it. What it's designed for you to do is if you're planning to sell, it'll help you save money from day, 1 up. Until that time, comes that you do look to sell.
HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah.
AGENT3:05
Exactly. So that's what this program will allow you to do. The reason that is, is because now you're going to be lowering the utility costs for the next homeowner, which is going to help, raise the value of the property, which will now allow you to sell it for more.
HOMEOWNER3:41
So, how does that work?
···
AGENT10:23am
Hi, Miss Baki.
HOMEOWNER10:23am
Hello.
AGENT0:13
Hi. My name is Adam. I'm calling because I believe you spoke with a team member of mine yesterday. In regards to the new energy program. How's your day going?
HOMEOWNER0:19
Um it's going well, thank you for asking. Um how about you?
AGENT0:28
Good good. Thank you. Um, I'm actually just calling because you were supposed to receive a notice in the mail about the recent wildfires. Did you happen to get that 1 yet?
HOMEOWNER0:38
I'm not sure I just get too many emails and I really don't catch up with all of that. Maybe, maybe not.
AGENT0:59
No, absolutely. I'm the same way, I, I don't blame you. I'm actually just, uh, I'm calling because the within that notice, it's stating that the utility companies are raising the rates by 22% just to recoup from the damages of those fires. Now, all that really means is your power bill is going to be going up. But do you recall like how much you paid on your latest power bill?
HOMEOWNER1:06
All right, pay a lot because I have a electric car and I have a pool. So
AGENT1:17
Gotcha. Now, that that will definitely do it to you. I'll tell you that. Okay. I mean if you had to put a dollar amount, would you say that it's over like 200, you know, 300 anything.
HOMEOWNER1:18
Oh, it's so bad 400.
AGENT1:48
Over 400. Wow, okay, well, I mean again that's a really high Bill ultimately that's why we're reaching reaching out what it is. We're doing right now is we're helping homeowners here in the area qualify for this new government endorsed solar program where, you know, longer have to take a loan out or come out of pocket to get solar. It's just designed for you to eliminate that high bill that you're paying and swap it out for a cheaper monthly. Bill. The thing is you would have to qualify. That's exactly why we're reaching out. Does that make sense?
AGENT3:47
so the way that it works is basically what we do is we help schedule you a better day and time where
HOMEOWNER4:11
So, let me ask you this question, because we are right by the golf course.
AGENT0:38
Sure.
HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah.
AGENT10:28am
um, but
HOMEOWNER5:48
Um yeah, I I don't know. So how does this program work? You said you don't have to get alone like get qualified the government something. How does that work?
AGENT5:57
Yeah yeah, great question. So the way that it works is super simple. So you know how you pay every single month to I believe it's Edison. Is that correct?
HOMEOWNER5:58
That is correct.
AGENT6:19
Okay, so it it would be exactly what you're doing with Edison. The only difference now is instead of you paying them at a higher cost that bill will now be eliminated and swapped out for a cheaper monthly solar Bill. The thing is, you would have to qualify for it and my job is to verify a few details just to make sure that you'd be a good fit for that. So, like, for example,
HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah.
AGENT6:33
Okay, great. And as far as the actual, like condition of the roof, is there any leaks on that? Is there any damages on that?
HOMEOWNER0:28
No.
AGENT6:44
Okay. And since these programs are government endorsed, you do need to have a standing credit score of 650 or higher. If you feel like you'd meet that requirement,
HOMEOWNER6:51
I'm sorry. I I was paying, I think give me 1 second because I'm actually working. Um,
AGENT6:52
Yeah, no worries. No worries.
HOMEOWNER6:55
Okay, I didn't pay attention that. You said, go ahead.
AGENT6:19
Okay, so
HOMEOWNER0:59
so,
AGENT0:59
so,
HOMEOWNER7:09
Oh yeah, of course.
AGENT7:18
Okay, that's not a problem and then it's just to make sure that you would be getting a lot of sunlight exposure on the roof. And from what I see, it seems like you guys do. Um,
HOMEOWNER7:24
Here at the golf course, I don't know.
AGENT7:56
No. Yeah, I I totally hear you on that. And and I can see here, but it is very interesting because I'm looking around and around the whole block, a lot of people do actually have solar and from what I'm looking at, they have it in the back which is very interesting. But um, okay. I mean ultimately uh Miss Baki. Well my job is to do is really again just to help you find a better day and time where we can have a consultant break. All of this information down for you. That way you can see if this is even something you can, you know, get approved for to help you cut down on that power bill in the meantime up until that time, comes that you plan to sell.
HOMEOWNER10:31am
enough at 2 p.m.
AGENT8:21
Usually, after 2:00 p.m. Okay, let me double check here for you. Now, after as far as after 2:00 p.m. goes, I do see here that we have a, would you have some availability, maybe tomorrow at 2 p.m.
HOMEOWNER8:27
Oh no, no. So we can go, maybe I'm out and
AGENT8:34
No. Absolutely that's not a problem. Not a problem. I do see here that we have Monday open at 3:00 if after 2 works for you.
HOMEOWNER8:48
No Monday, I have. All right. Something on my schedule. I cannot do Monday either. Um Tuesday uh no.
AGENT8:53
Yeah, Tuesday looks open from what I'm seeing right now.
HOMEOWNER9:06
Um, yeah, Tuesday. And I got to say 300 p.m.
AGENT0:38
Sure.
HOMEOWNER0:59
like,
AGENT9:16
I see here, you mentioned Tuesday. After 3, what I do have here is I do have 4 open if that works for you.
HOMEOWNER1:58
Yeah.
AGENT9:29
So then what I'll do for you then is I'll schedule you in for Tuesday, at 4 p.m. Now, the only thing we would really need present. There is just a power bill. Do you do that 1 online, or do you do it by mail?
HOMEOWNER9:29
Online.
AGENT9:55
Okay, so I'm actually going to send you a confirmation text letter and, you know, it's set for Tuesday at 4:00. If what you can do for me is since you do the bill online, if you can just send a bar, grab Port screenshot of the bar graph portion of the bill, I believe it's on page 3. That's what's going to help us determine how you can cut down on that power bill. And, you know, see how much you can save with the program, right? So if you can send that over, that'll be great.
HOMEOWNER10:04
There's something comes up that I want to cancel it. Um so I called how did I do that?
AGENT10:15
So we're going to be in contact through here on text, and we also have to send you a confirmation text, letting you know that the console will be on the way. So that's how we can be in contact as well.
HOMEOWNER0:28
Good.
AGENT10:37
Okay. And then lastly of course, right I just want to make sure that I'm putting you down here for Tuesday at 4 pm. I do want to make sure that that would be the best possible time for you just because we do work as a first come first serve appointment basis, right? So any homeowner that doesn't meet takes advantage of another homeowner that could. So I do want to make sure Tuesday, at 4 works best for you.
HOMEOWNER10:34am
Down, I'm sorry.
AGENT10:34am
Oh, no worries.
HOMEOWNER10:47
My son is homework, you know, the volume.
AGENT11:09
No worries. Yeah, no, absolutely. So all I was saying was I do want to make sure. Alright since we're all set for Tuesday at 4 pm, we do work as a first come for several appointment bases. So any homeowner that doesn't meet takes advantage of another homeowner that could. So I do want to make sure that that time just works best for you.
HOMEOWNER11:11
Yes, right now. Yes.
AGENT11:24
Okay, absolutely. And what I'm going to do right now for you then is I'll go ahead and send you that confirmation text that, you know, it's set and um we'll go from there. And if you can give me a like or a thumbs up on the message, that'll be great.
HOMEOWNER11:34
So it would this be a uh like come like you guys would send someone here or it would be just an online or phone call? Um
AGENT11:41
So, so we would be sending a consultant there. And if you'd like, I can also send you the name of the consultant that way you're aware of, who would be coming by?
HOMEOWNER11:47
Yeah, it sounds good. So, uh, for this there is no charge or anything.
AGENT11:50
Correct. It's just a cut down of your power bill.
HOMEOWNER11:58
No, no, I'm talking about the consultation, you know, doing all this first there.
AGENT12:15
Oh no. Yeah, there's there's no charge for the consultation, so the so on Tuesday. At 4:00 the consultant will go by uh, his name is Basho. He's going to sit down with you break down the entire program and answer any questions that you have. And since it is about 4 days out, I'll still also make sure to call you that day. Just to give you that. Reminder that he's on the way.
HOMEOWNER12:19
okay, so once we come
AGENT12:42
So what's going to happen is he's going to present you, the quote. He's going to answer any questions that you have and ultimately, if you can qualify, they would just do that. Soft credit check. So it's not a hard inquiry or anything. It's just to make sure that you qualify in terms of
HOMEOWNER12:52
Okay. So what is the qualification? Like? What do you mean? Do you have to have like an income like certain
AGENT0:28
No.
HOMEOWNER12:57
Um, what what is it? Exactly.
AGENT13:11
So yeah, so just so you just so, do you know, the way that works? It's not in regards to income anymore, it was just in regards to making sure that you have a sending credit, uh, credit score of 650 or higher. And then also being the homeowner on title
HOMEOWNER10:36am
Got you, okay.
AGENT13:27
Yeah, so again right on on Tuesday, at 4, he'll he'll come by and break that down for you. And then, as well, since it is a couple days out, I'll still reach out to you on Monday, just to give you that reminder cuz I know obviously the weekend goes by and you know, things come up. So
HOMEOWNER13:31
Sounds good. All right. Thank you.
AGENT13:38
Sounds good then, uh, I'll go ahead and send that text right now. Again if you can just give me a like on the message or a thumbs up that way. I know you got it, that'll be great.
HOMEOWNER10:37am
Awesome. Okay.
AGENT13:42
Thank you, sounds good. Then we look forward to seeing you Tuesday at 4.
HOMEOWNER10:37am
Thank you. Bye.

HOMEOWNER3:47
Is it transferable if I sell the home?

Yeah, correct. So, with these newer programs, if you were to even sell within a year, maybe two, you are able to fully transfer it over. And the homeowners would then take

Hello
AGENT0:07
Hey, good morning, Frank.
HOMEOWNER0:17
Yes
AGENT0:17
How's it going, Frank? My name is Adam. Uh, I believe you spoke to a team member of mine yesterday in regards to the new energy program. How's your day going?
HOMEOWNER0:07
Good
AGENT0:31
Great. The reason I'm, the reason I'm calling is because there was a letter you should have received in the mail about the 2026 billing structure changes. I'm not sure if you got the chance to read about that one yet or heard anything about it?
HOMEOWNER0:37
Uh, for energy, for like uh Edison billing or, or what's
AGENT1:48
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:31
that?
AGENT0:45
so, essentially, right, Edison they sent out a letter that they're gonna be hiking up the rates just to maintain the power grid. Uh, unfortunately,
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT0:49
what that in reality means is that your power bill's gonna go up. But by chance, do you know like how much you paid on the most recent power bill?
HOMEOWNER1:01
It's about $200 a month. But see, I have my shop and my house hooked together.
AGENT09:29am
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER1:12
Uh, I have, uh, a workshop down below and it's uh, I have a welder and whatnot in there and uh electrical
AGENT2:43
Oh.
HOMEOWNER1:14
equipment. So it's,
AGENT2:43
oh
HOMEOWNER1:26
you know, I split the difference. It used to be on average before I put the shop in probably about $70 to $80 a month, you know. But now it's when up quite a bit more with the shop.
AGENT1:48
Sure. OK. Yeah, no worries. I mean, obviously, right, the, the main reason we're calling is just because with the, the increases that are going on, we're helping homeowners in the area right now, potentially just take advantage and qualify for these newer government endorsed solar programs where you no longer have to come out of pocket to get solar. You literally just do what you're doing with medicine, except
HOMEOWNER0:17
Mm
AGENT1:53
your medicine bill would now be eliminated and just swapped out for a cheaper solar bill.
HOMEOWNER2:00
Well, see, I had uh solar when I lived in the valley up north by Visalia
AGENT0:31
Sure
HOMEOWNER2:21
and uh it was uh it was almost cheaper for me to be on, but see, I was buying. the solar panels and the buying the equipment and all that, and I didn't get any tax breaks and the true upcharge came out to be more than what I was paying on just having electricity, you know.
AGENT2:35
Sure. OK. And, and I mean, if you don't mind me asking, how long ago was that that you had solar on the, on the other property?
HOMEOWNER2:43
Oh, I moved here, uh, where I'm at now in 18, so it was, but I had it put in in probably 10, 2010.
AGENT2:55
OK. Well, the, the reason why we're reaching out, right, is because right now there's newer programs that have been onboarded where. it's now designed for you one to not have to take out a loan to get solar. And
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT3:22
22 for you to eliminate the Edison bill that you're paying and you would now be paying a bill that's anywhere between 30 to 40% cheaper. So what, whatever it is you're paying right now, it would be 30 to 40% cheaper than that, and that would be locked and fixed, then that would be your monthly payment now. So that's ultimately why we're reaching out because homeowners are taking advantage of cutting down on the bill without having to, you know, essentially
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm.
AGENT3:23
cut out of pocket for it.
HOMEOWNER3:26
And how many years does it take to pay it off?
AGENT3:37
So there, there is an agreement in place, right? For example, there is a 25 year agreement in place to protect you from inflation and to give you
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT3:44
that um predictability. That way you know exactly how much you're gonna be paying. Um, but yeah, that's how this one won't work.
HOMEOWNER3:47
Is it transferable if I sell the home?
AGENT3:52
Yeah, correct. So, with these newer programs, if you were to even sell within a year, maybe two, you are able to fully transfer it over. And the homeowners would then take
HOMEOWNER0:17
Mm
AGENT3:58
advantage of your savings.
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm. What about if it was 5 years or something like that, 6
AGENT1:48
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER3:26
years.
AGENT09:32am
same way, like,
HOMEOWNER4:06
That's still, same thing,
AGENT1:48
yeah,
HOMEOWNER7:27
huh?
AGENT4:16
cause the, the main thing is just that you would be saving from day one and then when whenever you do plan to sell, you would be transferring those exact savings to the next homeowner.
HOMEOWNER09:32am
Mhm, mhm.
AGENT4:34
But the thing is, right, like as good as how like these new programs may sound, uh, unfortunately, not everyone can qualify for it. Ultimately, right, our job is just to ask you a couple questions to see uh if you're a good fit for how these new programs work. And if you are,
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm.
AGENT4:37
you can cut down on the bill anywhere between 30 to 40%. Um, I mean, but for example, I mean, uh, are you the homeowner on title here on Lakeview Drive?
HOMEOWNER09:32am
Mhm. Yes.
AGENT4:50
OK. Is there anyone else like on the title with you, maybe like a spouse,
HOMEOWNER09:32am
Yeah, my
AGENT0:17
your
HOMEOWNER09:32am
wife,
AGENT0:37
what?
HOMEOWNER09:32am
my wife,
AGENT2:43
Oh.
HOMEOWNER09:32am
and spouse.
AGENT4:59
awesome. And as far as like the condition on the property of the roof, like, is there any leaks you're aware of, any damages?
HOMEOWNER5:05
No, no, and I would put it on my shop roof rather than the house roof.
AGENT5:15
Sure. I mean, that, I know that that's something that we have been able to help homeowners with. Um, if you don't mind me asking, as far as like the shop's roof. Uh, is that,
HOMEOWNER1:01
It's
AGENT0:17
uh
HOMEOWNER5:17
a metal, it's a metal roof.
AGENT0:17
OK
HOMEOWNER5:20
It's a metal shop
AGENT5:20
OK. It's a metal shop. Now, as far as that goes, would you say that you would be able to fit a minimum of 8 panels on it.
HOMEOWNER5:33
Oh, the shop is 3000 square foot shop.
AGENT5:35
OK, so it's a pretty big shop.
HOMEOWNER1:48
Yeah,
AGENT0:17
OK.
HOMEOWNER5:46
and it's direct and no trees on both sides, and it faces north to south, so I get morning sun and afternoon sun on it all the time.
AGENT2:35
OK. And
HOMEOWNER5:53
So, the house has trees all up around here and it wouldn't be good. You know, I had that issue with my other places. You know, I've had trees and it, it would block some of the solar panels and then I'd have to have them. They came and put more panels up because it wasn't producing enough.
AGENT6:05
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
HOMEOWNER0:31
So.
AGENT09:34am
I mean, how
HOMEOWNER4:03
mhm
AGENT6:12
about the, so the shop itself, which is, is that like a, like the roof itself like permitted?
HOMEOWNER2:43
Oh
AGENT0:17
OK.
HOMEOWNER1:48
yeah
AGENT6:17
Well, since you mentioned that
HOMEOWNER6:25
It has a, it, it has a, a snow load factor, everything engineered. I mean, it's first class.
AGENT6:31
OK, no worries. I mean, so in this situation now, since you mentioned that it's a, it's a metal roof. There is actually another
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT6:40
option that we have cause um there is a newer program that's being on boarded that works very similar to the one that I just uh explained to you. But with, with this newer option that's being onboarded now, um, you, you are able to now like install on metal roofs just because um in the past it was a little bit more difficult. These are things that the energy consult can actually break down to you that way you can better understanding. Um, but now you are able
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm.
AGENT6:59
to install metal roofs. So these are things we can make sure to break down for you.
HOMEOWNER09:35am
Mhm mhm
AGENT7:16
Now, the main, the main qualification, Frank, uh, is the most important one. It's just to make sure that since these programs are government endorsed, you would need to have a standing credit score of above 670. Do you feel like you'd meet that requirement?
HOMEOWNER0:17
I believe
AGENT0:17
OK.
HOMEOWNER0:31
so
AGENT7:21
Are you like on time with all your payments, like you, you're not really.
HOMEOWNER7:27
Oh yeah, yeah, no, never behind on homeowners, uh, uh, payment, nothing,
AGENT4:59
Awesome.
HOMEOWNER0:53
you know.
AGENT7:35
OK. I mean, based on the information you gave me, it looks like potentially you could be a good fit for this program. Um, ultimately, right,
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT7:48
our job is super simple. It's really just to help you find a different day where you have a spare 30 to 45 minutes where we can have an energy consultant break this down for you, uh, in a 30-minute in-home consultation and assessment. They'll show you a savings
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK
AGENT7:52
report, answer any questions or concerns you have and then show you how you can take advantage
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK.
AGENT8:00
of this newer program out, um, as far as like your availability for something like that are usually more free and like the morning times or in the afternoons
HOMEOWNER8:04
I would say probably afternoon would be
AGENT0:17
OK.
HOMEOWNER0:07
good,
AGENT0:17
Is
HOMEOWNER0:17
you
AGENT0:31
that
HOMEOWNER0:53
know.
AGENT8:09
looking afternoon like uh 3 o'clock, a 2 o'clock, anything like that?
HOMEOWNER8:13
I would say between 1 and 2.
AGENT8:24
OK. Cause if that is something that around the time slot that you are available, I do see that uh specifically in the area, we do have energy consultants there tomorrow at one. Would maybe tomorrow at one
HOMEOWNER0:31
No,
AGENT1:12
work?
HOMEOWNER8:32
tomorrow won't work cause I have a doctor's appointment in town at 3:30, so that would be too, which it would be too tight
AGENT09:36am
Oh, OK.
HOMEOWNER2:21
for me.
AGENT8:37
No worries. Let me double check it cause I do also see we have Thursday.
HOMEOWNER8:37
Thursday
AGENT0:17
OK,
HOMEOWNER8:50
would do
AGENT8:50
Thursday would do. Not a problem then. So what I can do for you then is I can pencil you in for Thursday at 1. The only thing we would need present, right, is just the power bill. Do you do that one online or do you do that by mail?
HOMEOWNER8:56
I do it by mail. Well, actually, I, I have it here. I have the power bill for last month.
AGENT9:04
OK, what I'm actually gonna do is I'm gonna send you a text message letting you know it's actually set. So it'll say that that this time slot is set for Thursday at 1.
HOMEOWNER4:03
Mhm
AGENT9:14
right there is where if you, since you have the power belt, if you have a screenshot of just the bar graph portion of the actual bill, we can actually drop the savings report beforehand and just come by prepared, um, so if you can either have it present there or if you could just send a screenshot of it, that'll be great.
HOMEOWNER9:26
OK, let's see here
AGENT9:39
And then let me see. So then what I'm actually gonna do for you right now, Frank, is I'm gonna be sending you this text letting you know it's it. If you can do me the one favor of just giving me a like or thumbs up on the message that I send you, that'll be perfect.
HOMEOWNER9:41
OK, you just send it
AGENT1:48
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER1:48
right now?
AGENT0:07
I,
HOMEOWNER09:37am
Hold
AGENT1:48
yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:31
on.
AGENT9:47
I haven't sent it yet. I will send it right after this call. You could expect it in about 5 minutes.
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK
AGENT9:56
All righty. Well, it was great speaking with you, Frank. I'll go ahead and send that text to you shortly and uh we look forward to meeting with you Thursday at 1. Take care.
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK.
AGENT09:38am
Bye.

AGENT12:09pm
Hi, my name is Adam. I'm calling because you spoke to a team member of mine yesterday. It was in regards to the new energy program. How's your day going?
HOMEOWNER12:09pm
New energy program. Yesterday,
AGENT12:09pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER12:09pm
I didn't
AGENT12:09pm
they
HOMEOWNER12:09pm

AGENT12:09pm
yeah, local energy partners, a team member of mine asked if you're paying over like $100 or $120 on the power bill. the
HOMEOWNER12:09pm
I think that's about what I'm paying.
AGENT12:09pm
Sure. That, well, that's exactly why we're reaching out, right? Essentially what it is we're doing is we're helping you cause you may qualify for this government endorsed program that could help you lower your bill by up to 40%. Uh, as long as you can get approved for it.
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
Mhm.
AGENT12:10pm
Um, essentially what it is, right, it's a, it's a new government endorsed solar program that's just made for you to eliminate your current power bill. uh, and swap it out
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
Uh-huh.
AGENT12:10pm
for a cheaper monthly solar bill, typically up to 40% cheaper than what you're currently paying as long as you can qualify. Does that make sense?
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
OK. So, who owns the equipment?
AGENT12:10pm
Yeah, good question. So there's different programs available for you, right? There is this program that I shared with you, the solar company would be maintaining the system and you'd just be paying for cheaper energy. Uh, had you looked into like solar options in the past?
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
No. So, who owns the equipment?
AGENT12:10pm
Yeah, so that would be the solar company with this specific program.
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
OK, what happen if I sell my house?
AGENT12:10pm
Yeah, good question. So let's say you plan to sell within the next year, whatever the case may be, uh, it's fully transferable. So you don't have to pay it off or anything like that. It just transfers onto the next homeowner and they take over the savings.

AGENT12:10pm
Yeah, so, so what happens is, is the monthly bill that you're paying, right, the, the savings that you would be getting, they would
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
Uh-huh.
AGENT12:11pm
now be paying those savings. So they're not gonna be paying a more expensive power bill. They're just going to be paying a cheaper one. So it's kind
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
OK,
AGENT12:11pm
of like
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
let's say you
AGENT12:11pm
go ahead
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
OK. Let's say you install the system,
AGENT12:11pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
OK? We are in the summer, it's not raining. Winter comes and it rains and it's rained because of the installation of the system. Who's
AGENT12:11pm
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
responsible to
AGENT12:11pm
So the solar company, so you don't have to worry about any of the maintenance simply because they will be helping take care of all that stuff with you, right? Like for example, if you need to clean them or anything like that. Um, the only thing you're responsible for is just paying a cheaper bill. That's it. So as long as you can get approved for it, we'd be able to break that down to you how that works. Uh, but as far as maintenance goes, you don't have to worry about anything of that.
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
OK, so what do you need from me now
AGENT12:11pm
So to qualify, we just need, I just need to ask you a couple quick questions. So like for example, you're the homeowner here on 9th Avenue, correct?
HOMEOWNER12:11pm
Yes
AGENT12:12pm
Awesome. Uh, as far as like the, the main qualification, the program is government endorsed, so they wanna make sure you have a standing credit score of above 660. Do you feel like you'd meet that?
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
No less
AGENT12:12pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
quite nice, less
AGENT12:12pm
OK. No worries. I mean, as far as like qualifying goes, that would be a disqualifying factor. However, um, there is another way you can get approved where I don't know if you would happen to know anyone that does have above a 660, maybe like a family member, a friend that can help you, uh, with, with that as well.
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
OK
AGENT12:12pm
I'm not sure.
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
Mm.
AGENT12:12pm
Uh, do you feel like you have a family member that does have above a 660?
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
Yes
AGENT12:12pm
OK. I is it like a spouse? Is it like a
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
No, it's a sun
AGENT12:12pm
oh, a family member
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
my son
AGENT12:12pm
Oh, your son. Awesome. Yeah, not a problem. Yeah, he, he can help you as well to, for you guys to take advantage of the savings, right? So that's not an issue. Um, and then, of course, as far as like the, the sunlight exposure on the property? Is there any like trees covering it, anything like that, or is it kinda open?
HOMEOWNER12:13pm
Well, there is Swiss but the usually the solar company comes and does the a check, right? If you check, I put something
AGENT12:13pm
So, so what we do right is before anything, we make sure to check everything off for you, right? That way we save you guys some time. Um, but yeah, I mean, if, if you feel that there's minor trees, and it's not a big deal because we can, as long as it's not covering like the entire house, you're not a, that's not a problem. Um
HOMEOWNER12:13pm
No, it's not, it's not covering.
AGENT12:13pm
OK. Awesome, man. Uh, well, the next step for us, right, it's super simple. It's really just about finding a different day where we can have uh a consultant break this program down for you and your son. That way you guys can see a free savings report. Uh, typically it's on a different day. You have 30 minutes for them to come by. Um, if there was a time that you two are together, is that usually more of like a morning time or afternoon time, maybe even evening time.
HOMEOWNER12:13pm
Mm So we need, we would need to meet in the house, right?
AGENT12:14pm
So, yeah, so it's just a 30-minute in home consultation, um, basically, any day that you guys have 30 minutes of spare time, we'd be able to show you guys a free savings report and you know help you guys cut down on the bill.
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
OK. I would need to speak with my son and see
AGENT12:14pm
Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
when he's available.
AGENT12:14pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
and call you back
AGENT12:14pm
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Cause of course, right, he, he would need to be present, um, hip, does he stay on the property with you?
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
Mm, part time.
AGENT12:14pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
kind of all time
AGENT12:14pm
Uh OK. If you'd like, why don't I go ahead and do this. Go ahead and speak with your son. Um, just cause I know obviously he would need to be there present. Um,
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
OK
AGENT12:14pm
if there was a time that you had to say that you, that he is there together with you. Would that be even at like a 6 o'clock time or maybe even the 7 o'clock time.
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
Uh No, I'm not gonna be in the evening. It has to be can it be on a Saturday
AGENT12:15pm
Yeah, absolutely. We could, we work Saturdays from 9 to 6. So if a Saturday
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
OK
AGENT12:15pm
works for you, I can definitely pencil you guys in. Um, let's say Saturday if you had available would maybe like a 9 o'clock work for you guys?
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
No, it looks like more like between 1 and 2.
AGENT12:15pm
OK, perfect. Why don't I just play it safe for you guys? Why don't I go ahead and do this? Why don't I pencil you guys for let's say Saturday at 2. the only thing we would need present is the power bill. You, you've mentioned that you do that one online.
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
Yes, yeah
AGENT12:15pm
OK, awesome. So the only thing, right, I'm gonna do is I'm literally just gonna send you a text message after this calling, you know it's that. The only thing I ask of you is if you can give me a like or thumbs up on the message that way I know you received it.
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
OK.
AGENT12:15pm
Awesome. So I'll send it to you very shortly. You can expect it within the next 5 to 10 minutes. Awesome,
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
Fine.
AGENT12:15pm
man. All righty. Have yourself a great rest of the day.
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
Thank you,
AGENT12:15pm
Yes,
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
you
AGENT12:15pm
yes.
HOMEOWNER12:15pm
too

Listen forResolves his own objection out loud — he decides transferability is the next owner's problem. Listen for the agent not interrupting the homeowner talking himself into it.

HOMEOWNER04:00pm
um, we're, we're doing good. Yeah, I don't want the over the expense on that and don't have to worry about, you know, when I sell it and, you know, whether
AGENT04:00pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER04:00pm
it be the leasing part of it, it's just, uh, I'll let the new owner worry about that when they move in.
AGENT04:00pm
Gotcha. OK, Alex, no problem. Just because, you know, if you are planning on moving within 2 years, you can definitely see the savings with this program and the reason why I was reaching out is because now there's an entirely different program that's available for homeowners. Uh, I
HOMEOWNER04:00pm
Mhm.
AGENT04:00pm
understand when, uh, you mentioned it right now, you said you looked into a lease before, is that correct?
HOMEOWNER04:00pm
I guess, uh, yeah, I was just looking at the, what would be the best, you know, for me.
AGENT04:00pm
Mhm. Got you. No, yeah, of course, and I, I completely agree there. And then, what was it about the lease that uh you didn't like about it?
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
To be honest, I can't remember really remember what the all the parameters

Hello hello
AGENT03:59pm
Hi, hello, Alexander.
HOMEOWNER03:59pm
Yes
AGENT03:59pm
Hey, how are you doing? This is uh Josh uh I was just reaching back out to you. I'm not too sure if you remember me. I was about helping you lower your energy bill with the solar project. How are you doing today?
HOMEOWNER03:59pm
No, good, good. No, we're doing, we're doing good. I think I'm gonna leave it as is. I'm
AGENT03:59pm
Got
HOMEOWNER03:59pm
good.
AGENT03:59pm
you. No, I was just reaching out because you said you're gonna sell the property. Did you end up selling it?
HOMEOWNER04:00pm
No, no, it's still gonna be another 2 years.
AGENT04:00pm
Oh, OK. Gotcha. Have you noticed your bill gone up then, especially during this, uh, summertime.
HOMEOWNER04:00pm
The, the, the bills, yeah, but it's, it's fine, you know, we're, uh,
AGENT04:00pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER04:00pm

HOMEOWNER04:01pm
To be honest, I can't remember really remember what the all the parameters
AGENT04:01pm
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
were on, on it from before. Well, what is the new one,
AGENT04:01pm
Mm.
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
what is the, the new one,
AGENT04:01pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
about.
AGENT04:01pm
Yeah, of course, the the the reason why I asked that was because, you know, if you didn't like certain things about the lease program, the reason why
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
Mhm
AGENT04:01pm
I'm calling is because there's a new finance program that is available to homeowners that just gives you a discounted rate on the overall cost of the system. So
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
OK
AGENT04:01pm
now instead of just renting the power or purchasing the power, you're able to own your own power, and then if it does come down to selling, which it sounds like you're definitely, you know, gonna be doing within the next couple of years, it's
HOMEOWNER04:01pm
Right
AGENT04:01pm
very transferable to the next homeowner as well. So that's why I was calling to see if you had a, you know, a couple of moments to talk about it because if you do, I believe this is a really great fit for you now because I know we talked about a little bit before in the past. Uh, I didn't know you looked into the lease program, so if the lease program didn't make sense, I'm really confident this new one can definitely make sense for you now.
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
All right, go ahead, go ahead and uh if you want to give me details, that's fine.
AGENT04:02pm
Yeah, of course. Um, so pretty much in regarding to this program, kind of like how I mentioned you're not leasing it, so you're actually able to own your own system now. And
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
right?
AGENT04:02pm
remember those tax credits that were available for homeowners about a year ago. Do you remember that
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
Right.
AGENT04:02pm
by any chance?
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
Right
AGENT04:02pm
So, you know how this year they took him away.
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
Right. Uh-huh
AGENT04:02pm
So pretty much this program still allows homeowners to take advantage of that tax credit. And that's why it's able to reduce the overall cost of the system anywhere between 30 to 40%. It's just
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
OK
AGENT04:02pm
as long as, of course, as your property is able to qualify for it. So if you have some time, I would love to go ahead and set up a consultation with you because I'm very confident you can see it, the benefit now with these new programs because I can give you that full breakdown actually show you what it will look like for you on a monthly.
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
Does the company take advantage of the tax credits now, just passes them on to the,
AGENT04:02pm
Exactly
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
to the cus customer uh
AGENT04:02pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER04:02pm
via a lower price?
AGENT04:03pm
Exactly,
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Is that how they do it?
AGENT04:03pm
exactly,
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
OK.
AGENT04:03pm
yeah. So since the homeowner can no longer actually take advantage of it. What
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Right.
AGENT04:03pm
they do is these companies now shell it out to the solar company and what the solar companies are doing, which is a very smart move, is they're actually passing those savings along to the homeowner now, so that's why you're able to get that system. Dis discounted at a much, you know, better rate. So it's like 30, 40% off of the overall cost of the system, so for example,
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Would it be
AGENT04:03pm
like
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
like a, would, would it be an over the phone consultation, that kind of thing?
AGENT04:03pm
um, if you like, I, I could do that as well, as long as you have your latest utility bill present. I can definitely do that. Or I
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Yeah.
AGENT04:03pm
was reaching out as well because I could just stop by for a quick 30 minutes and actually show you that full breakdown. You already know the gist of how everything works. So actually be very quick. So if you have some time potentially next week on like Tuesday, Wednesday, and of course, I can definitely help you out there as well.
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Yeah, I can do, I can do Tuesday
AGENT04:03pm
OK. Perfect. And, and what time, uh, Tuesday works for you? In the morning or in the afternoon?
HOMEOWNER04:03pm
Probably morning
AGENT04:04pm
Morning time. OK. Gotcha. With Tuesday at around, let's see here, I got as early as 9. Would that be a good time for you?
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
That'll be good
AGENT04:04pm
That'll be good. OK. Perfect. And I, what I can do then, I can definitely go ahead and uh set you up for Tuesday at 9. I'll go ahead and send you a text message just confirming.
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
OK
AGENT04:04pm
And then uh I can definitely go ahead and have my site technician go out there and then we can go ahead and meet, OK?
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
Sounds good
AGENT04:04pm
Awesome, Alex. OK, awesome. I'll send you a text message shortly.
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
Mm
AGENT04:04pm
Just go ahead and respond back to it just to let me know that you're all set, OK?
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
All right, will do. Thank you
AGENT04:04pm
Awesome, Alex. Thank you. Bye-bye
HOMEOWNER04:04pm
Yeah.
