AGENT0:18
Yeah
HOMEOWNER0:36
actually sit down and and talk and um. uh I don't know, you said you were gonna send me an email. Uh, if you wanna go ahead and write down her email and then you see see both of us.
AGENT0:44
OK Gotcha. And then what, what would be a, a good email for you guys? I can either send it via email or I can send it via like a text message link.
HOMEOWNER0:46
Yeah, um, email is fine.
AGENT0:49
OK, and what would be a good email for her?

The Alicia Mora.

Yeah, and then, um, uh, Hugo Rios, 805@yahoo.
AGENT1:16
Mhm. at yahoo OK, yeah. And then you guys were just looking for like general information regarding the program, how it all works, stuff like that.
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yeah.
AGENT0:18
OK
HOMEOWNER1:21
Yeah, and then, you know, just kind of tell her, um, you, you spoke to me or

HOMEOWNER0:18
Uh
AGENT12:00pm
Hey, you go
HOMEOWNER12:00pm
Hello
AGENT0:18
Yeah, hi, Hugo. My name's Joshua. I was actually just, uh, giving you a call back here. We spoke on uh Friday of last week. It was just about helping you lower your energy go the solar program. How are you doing?
HOMEOWNER0:22
Good, um, I'm headed to work right now. Um,
AGENT12:00pm
Mm

HOMEOWNER1:28
um you're waiting for us to uh to, you know, sit down and talk so we can get back to you and guiding her to give us more
AGENT1:50
Sure
HOMEOWNER1:32
insight on there, maybe set up a con a conference call. We can all go on it.
AGENT1:50
Yeah, of course. I mean, uh, I can definitely send over that general information over to you guys, no problem at all. Just to let you know that that's exactly why we have the in-home consultations as well because when we do send that information over, I'm pretty sure you and your, your wife are gonna have some good questions regarding the program, how it all works, and breakdown and that's
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yeah
AGENT2:06
what they go over during the in-home, but in the meantime, what at least I can do for you guys is just send that over if you like as well, we can set like a tentative time for either sometime on the weekend or next week just so it gives you some time to review and then what I can do is give you a call back like on Friday, Hugo, just to see
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK
AGENT0:36
if
HOMEOWNER0:22
good
AGENT2:08
the weekend or next week works for you guys, OK?
HOMEOWNER12:02pm
You got it.
AGENT2:16
Got you. Would potentially this weekend work out best for the, the two of you like on a Sunday or maybe uh next week works better.
HOMEOWNER2:19
Yeah, uh, Mondays are usually the best days.
AGENT2:28
Monday? OK. Gotcha. And then what time on Monday just so I can just uh put it down here just so that time spots saved. That way when I give you a call on Friday, it's just to see if that time frame still works out.
HOMEOWNER2:32
I'll say earlier cause we usually um that's our day off, so, you know, kind
AGENT0:18
OK.
HOMEOWNER2:34
of get it out of the way and then we can
AGENT2:35
Got you. I could do it as early
HOMEOWNER0:18
do.
AGENT2:37
as 9 a.m. or if you want to wake up
HOMEOWNER0:18
yeah
AGENT2:38
a little bit later because I like to sleep in,
HOMEOWNER0:18
uh,
AGENT2:40
you know, like 10:30.
HOMEOWNER2:44
is it, oh yeah, is it, uh, a 9, uh 10 a.m.
AGENT2:52
10 a.m.? All right, perfect then. No problem. I'll go ahead and uh send that information. It's just gonna be some general information regarding the programs and how they work, you go. I'll give
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK.
AGENT2:56
you a call Friday just to make sure that Monday at 10 still works out for you guys, OK?
HOMEOWNER3:23
Thank you.
AGENT3:06
Awesome, no problem. And just to make sure I, I got the name right for your wife. It's Alicia, A L I C I A Mora, M O R A at Ymail.com.
HOMEOWNER12:03pm
Correct
AGENT3:13
OK, perfect then. Awesome. I'll go ahead and CC you in the message as well just so that of course everyone's on the same page.
HOMEOWNER12:03pm
Sounds good
AGENT3:23
Awesome, Hugo. Thank you. And I'll also send you a text message letting you know you're tentatively set for money, but like I mentioned, I'll still give you a call Friday to make sure that's all good for you guys, OK?
HOMEOWNER3:24
Thank you so much
AGENT3:26
Awesome then, Hugo, you have a good day.
HOMEOWNER12:03pm

···
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
just if you guys have a a package or something, you know,
AGENT05:45pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
like you did give me the link. I kind of did look into it uh yesterday. and uh kind of just seeing what the difference is between the, the a lease and this one, but
AGENT05:46pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
um.
AGENT05:46pm
I mean, if you like as well, we don't necessarily have to meet in person. If you wanna do like let's just say a Zoom call to where they can go over all that with you and answer any other additional questions and any any other links to you. They can do that as well. That's, that's not an issue. The only reason why, of course, we would want to do the in-person consultation it's because they do check the main panel unit and take some exterior photos of the roof just to make sure that the property is good to go. But if a Zoom consultation works for you, we can definitely do that as well to where they can just sit there, answer any questions you may have, and then, you know, provide to you the information that you need.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
OK, and then the, I guess to get the actual amount. or in the the I guess the per kilowatt hour
AGENT05:46pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
price. You guys would have to know exactly what size of uh system we're gonna
AGENT05:46pm
Correct, yes.
HOMEOWNER05:46pm
be getting.
AGENT05:46pm
So what we'll need is just page 3 of your mother's utility bill. That shows a bar graph, that bar graph shows her annual usage for the entire year, right? So her high months, her low months, everything in between, and what we do is we calculate that to see how much energy she uses, and then based on how much energy she uses, that would be the correct system size that we give her. So that's why, you know, if you want to do that Zoom consultation as well, they can go over all that with you and show you the breakdown on how it works.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
OK, and then you, you said that you guys offer a purchase.
···
AGENT05:30pm
Hey, hello, Mr. Garcia
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
Yeah
AGENT05:30pm
Hey, how are you doing? This is uh Josh. I was just uh giving you a call back here. How you doing? Hello, Mr. Garcia, can you hear me? Hello program.
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
Yeah, I
AGENT05:30pm
Alright, there you go.
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
get, OK
AGENT05:30pm
I can
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
I
AGENT05:30pm
hear
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
can
AGENT05:30pm
you a
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
hear
AGENT05:30pm
little bit
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
you
AGENT05:30pm
better. How are you doing?
HOMEOWNER05:30pm
Good. I'm driving so I don't know if the ser, but yeah, good.
AGENT05:30pm
Gotcha, gotcha. I, I was just checking, of course, uh, seeing if, uh, you, you reviewed the link I, I sent over to you.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
Yeah, I, I took a look at it and, and looked at my mom's uh bills.
AGENT05:31pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
She's only paying averages 22 cents uh
AGENT05:31pm
Yeah, probably not. I mean, if you already
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
a kilowatt
AGENT05:31pm
bought
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
hour, so
AGENT05:31pm
uh
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
I don't, and then I don't wanna be stuck with, you
AGENT05:31pm
program
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
know, a 25
AGENT05:31pm
that we're working
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
year.
AGENT05:31pm
we're selling the solar panels
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
So I guess pretty much it's
AGENT05:31pm
we're
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
not gonna work out the way I see it cause
AGENT05:31pm
uh basically
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
I don't want with
AGENT05:31pm
for the people
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
having
AGENT05:31pm
that
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
that for 25
AGENT05:31pm
improve.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
years. um
AGENT05:31pm
and they just purchased the power
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
I
AGENT05:31pm
generator.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
sell the house and, you know, that complicates
AGENT05:31pm
I
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
things as well,
AGENT05:31pm
purchase.
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
so.
AGENT05:31pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:31pm
uh, we're gonna be passing on this.
AGENT05:31pm
Gotcha, no worries. I, I did just wanna let you know, right? She is paying pretty high in her high months, so her average, like we talked about yesterday was around that 150. And then like I mentioned, right, we get you closer to that 17 to 20 cents, uh, in regards to the price per kilowatt. So it's definitely gonna see, still see savings with it. It's just
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
right
AGENT05:32pm
a matter
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
but
AGENT05:32pm
of
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
you guys or it's gonna be charged
AGENT05:32pm
we have
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
based
AGENT05:32pm
I,
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
off of how much she collects, right?
AGENT05:32pm
it's how much the system produces for her, right? So to give you an example, if she, let's just say, uses 10,000 kilowatts a year, then what we do is we give her a system that produces that 10,000 kilowatts. So instead of purchasing the energy from her energy provider, which I believe it's LADWP at this point or is it California Edison? She eliminates that
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
Yeah.
AGENT05:32pm
and now she just purchases it from that solar system at that cheaper rate. So whether that's 17 or that's 20 cents
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
yeah, so how do you guys determine how you is it usage or is it? based off of how much um, again I don't, I don't know how the term, but how much
AGENT05:32pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:32pm
power or how much electricity it collects.
AGENT05:32pm
Yeah, it's based on how much energy she produces, right? Because that system's gonna produce for her that 10,000 kilowatts. So it's gonna produce whatever she uses for her last year's cycle. And that's what we're gonna charge you is whatever that system produces for her.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
OK
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm. So
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
How
AGENT05:33pm
she's still definitely
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
is
AGENT05:33pm
gonna
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
that a
AGENT05:33pm
be
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
possibility that it produces more than what she's gonna use. Let's say she goes on vacation
AGENT05:33pm
mhm
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
for half the year.
AGENT05:33pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
and, you know, no power for six months.
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
She's still gonna get charged the full year like if she was home all year long.
AGENT05:33pm
That is correct because it's what the system produces for her, but that, that's if
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
I.
AGENT05:33pm
she were to go on like right vacation for that long, but it's what that system produces for the homeowner and that's what it charges. That's it. So
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
Yeah, and,
AGENT05:33pm
even
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
and with
AGENT05:33pm
on
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
the battery, I'm assuming produce. let's again, example is the 10,000. produce 10,000 because of the battery pulling in. getting filled up during, during the day and then her using it at night
AGENT05:33pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:33pm
Yeah
AGENT05:33pm
Gotcha. Yeah, so if she were to have a battery pack and quick question again, we're, we're she with California Edison or LEDWP?
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
uh uh Southern California Edison.
AGENT05:34pm
Southern California. OK. So it's actually recommended she has a battery pack because what happens with California Edison is if homeowners were to go solar. If you do not have a battery pack, any excess energy that she were to produce actually gets sent back to them, and they don't give you 100% for whatever you generate, right? So if she were to generate 1000
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
right
AGENT05:34pm
kilowatts for them.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
Yeah, yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
They only give
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
her 25,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and I,
AGENT05:34pm
yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I, yeah, I know that especially now
AGENT05:34pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
that they update or I don't know when they did it, but the, the the, uh, when they went to the new 3 or whatever it's called like
AGENT05:34pm
Uh, net metering, yeah, 3.0.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
yeah not metering 3, yeah, they give a lot less because I, I got in earlier so I get,
AGENT05:34pm
Oh,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I
AGENT05:34pm
that's
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
don't get
AGENT05:34pm
good
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
the full 100% but I got
AGENT05:34pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
in on the tube.
AGENT05:34pm
Got you.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
so
AGENT05:34pm
So you,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
get
AGENT05:34pm
you
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
more
AGENT05:34pm
got in
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
back
AGENT05:34pm
that net meeting 2.0. That's good.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
Yeah,
AGENT05:34pm
Well,
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and I
AGENT05:34pm
at least
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
wish,
AGENT05:34pm
you get a little
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
and
AGENT05:34pm
bit more.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
do wish, yeah, I wish I would have known a little bit more at the time
AGENT05:34pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
I bought mine because I would have got the battery as well, but I didn't.
AGENT05:34pm
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:34pm
um
AGENT05:34pm
No, and I completely understand. I mean, uh, at least I still think it's worth at least sitting down and seeing what we could do for you because she's still, it's averaging that, you know, 150. And I know for a fact we can get her down definitely lower than that. So
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
well,
AGENT05:35pm
I,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, uh,
AGENT05:35pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, it's gonna be lower because again, I, I did the math for the past 3 years.
AGENT05:35pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
and she's averaging 24 with, you know, of of course every year it kind of goes a little bit higher just because of the cost,
AGENT05:35pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
but she's even like this the past 3 months she's averaging 23 cents a kilowatt hour. Uh oh, I don't know if that's the right term, but it's 23 cents per whatever however they, they calculate.
AGENT05:35pm
Gotcha,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
uh
AGENT05:35pm
gotcha. Yeah. Cause it depends
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
so
AGENT05:35pm
on the time of day as well, like what she uses.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
right,
AGENT05:35pm
So like
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
and
AGENT05:35pm
if she uses
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
right.
AGENT05:35pm
early morning, that's probably what, 20 cents and then middle of the day is probably that 23 and then the peak is like
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
Uh,
AGENT05:35pm
30,
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
for
AGENT05:35pm
35.
HOMEOWNER05:35pm
yeah, yeah, I don't remember exactly, but yeah, it's, it's just averages out. I just look at how much you used for the day or for the month divided by the price of the what they charge her. So I just don't think, you know because right now you're saying 2017 to 20 some cents.
AGENT05:36pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
is there and then I, I think you mentioned that it's not gonna go up.
AGENT05:36pm
Correct. It gets
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
after
AGENT05:36pm
locked like that, but it depends on the size of the system. So like, if she were to get a smaller system, right, because it depends on how much she's using for the entire year. Um,
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
right
AGENT05:36pm
then she can get locked in at a lower price per kilowatt, right? Because now that system's not uh bigger, she's using way less energy and so like, it, it really all depends on the size of the system. It's hard to give numbers out when I'm not looking at the bill and seeing exactly how much she's currently using. But that's why I say it's, it's at least worth having the consultation to see if it, she can definitely see the savings from that point. You know, just to, just to have a peace of mind as well, especially with these rate increases. I mean, you're well aware of them as well. We talked about it yesterday.
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
Yeah, I just, I'm not, I'm not too keen on the 25 year.
AGENT05:36pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:36pm
I guess lease or or term maybe not a lease but the term.
AGENT05:37pm
OK. I mean, there are other options for homeowners. I know there's a new one rolling out that keeps you locked in, like locked in and fixed without the bill ever going up. Uh, their newer programs rolling out. We're actually learning about them. We actually learned about them this week, so we're advising homeowners of them this following week. If that's something you wanna look into as well. Our energy consultant can actually talk to you guys about that because from what we're hearing, these programs are gonna be a lot better for the homeowners because it acts almost as like a, like uh owning the system as soon as that 5 years is up, but it that price would always stay fixed for that duration. Like it would all like at that point. Does that make
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
and
AGENT05:37pm
a little
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
that
AGENT05:37pm
sense?
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
yeah, and then during, OK, just going back to the, during the 25 year
AGENT05:37pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
term. if let's say the uh you know, the, the, I don't know the name of it, but the, the
AGENT05:37pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
piece that converts the power or however I,
AGENT05:37pm
Oh, the inverters
HOMEOWNER05:37pm
uh. yeah, if that goes out then we end up using the Southern California's Edison until it gets repaired, right?
AGENT05:38pm
Correct, yeah, so it,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
Right
AGENT05:38pm
well, the inverters, they're each for each panel, right? So if one inverter goes out, that doesn't
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
OK, no,
AGENT05:38pm
mean
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
no,
AGENT05:38pm
your
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
then
AGENT05:38pm
whole
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
it's
AGENT05:38pm
system
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
not the
AGENT05:38pm
goes
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
inverter
AGENT05:38pm
up,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
I'm
AGENT05:38pm
yes.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
talking about. It's
AGENT05:38pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
the box that sits
AGENT05:38pm
Main
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
on
AGENT05:38pm
panel
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
the side
AGENT05:38pm
unit
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
of the house. The what
AGENT05:38pm
Main panel unit
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
Maybe, yeah
AGENT05:38pm
Yeah, that,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
Uh,
AGENT05:38pm
that's the one that controls
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
if
AGENT05:38pm
the, or that's the one that brings in all that energy. So you're saying if your
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
yeah,
AGENT05:38pm
main
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
so if that goes
AGENT05:38pm
were
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
out,
AGENT05:38pm
to go up.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
right, so if that goes out then we end up until it gets repaired, we end up having to um use Southern California's or Edison's power
AGENT05:38pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
until it gets repaired, right?
AGENT05:38pm
Correct. Well, what I can tell you is if your main panel unit were to go out, not even California Edison can bring you power to your home cause your main power unit, right, is what helps turn on everything on your property. So if that were
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
No,
AGENT05:38pm
to go
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
I,
AGENT05:38pm
out,
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
OK,
AGENT05:38pm
yeah, that, yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
it's then it's not that uh it's,
AGENT05:38pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER05:38pm
I don't know the name of it, but it's
AGENT05:38pm
It's,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
and
AGENT05:39pm
it's
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
it
AGENT05:39pm
probably,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
could be different cause
AGENT05:39pm
yeah, it's probably the system itself you're talking like if the solar system were to go out, correct?
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
yes,
AGENT05:39pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
yeah, the, the panel that controls us that, again, I don't know the if it's what it's called, but at least in my house, I have to, like we're at some time and I don't know if having a battery changes things, but the so, so what happened with me is the solar panel, so that went out on me once.
AGENT05:39pm
OK
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
um, and then, well, I have, I went to Tesla, so they, they went ahead and replaced it, but during the time that I was waiting for it to get replaced. pretty much Edison was providing all the power to me instead of solar. during the day
AGENT05:39pm
Correct,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
Uh
AGENT05:39pm
yes, and yes.
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
Now, so if that part goes out, then we're gonna for, for this system. what do you guys how fast can you guys get to replace that?
AGENT05:39pm
Yeah, especially if it's something serious as you have no power from that system. We're out the next day. Uh, I can assure you that because there has been,
HOMEOWNER05:39pm
uh
AGENT05:39pm
you know, some homeowners that reach out to us saying, hey,
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
uh.
AGENT05:40pm
uh, a panel or two of mine are out.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
out
AGENT05:40pm
We're out the next day because we're acting as the new energy provider, essentially, right? Since that system's on top of your house and you're getting energy from that. We would need to respond to that right away. So we, we're out pretty much next day if anything the following day after that.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
and then you guys are mon or maybe
AGENT05:40pm
Hm.
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
not you but whoever we end up doing the contract with is it are they monitoring the system or do we as the owners we have to call you guys.
AGENT05:40pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
call
AGENT05:40pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER05:40pm
them to have, you know, to report the issue.
AGENT05:40pm
Yeah, really good question. So, it does come with a monitoring app. So it's an application where you can check on a daily basis. So if you see something that is a little wrong with the system where you see that a panel's not pulling in energy, you would need to notify us right away so we can go out there and do that. Now, if we notice that the whole entire system's not working and there's nothing being reported, then that's when we'll probably, we'll reach out to you and be like, hey, um, is everything OK with your system? Have you got a checking bill or anything like that? But if it's something in regards to like, oh, you know, uh one of my paddles are a little bit off in production. Then, of course, that would be something the homeowner would need to check on their mobile app.
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
OK
AGENT05:41pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
I guess whenever those other plans come around, maybe you got you can reach out to me to see if those uh and then I guess I didn't really catch exactly what the new plans. It's just, yeah, I'm just not keen and that's why we didn't lease back then. It's just I don't care to be in a long term contract.
AGENT05:41pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
and
AGENT05:41pm
Mhm. No,
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
because we
AGENT05:41pm
yeah, there
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
never know if we decide to needed to sell, that's gonna make things a bit harder to sell. um I, I'm sure again I don't know if it's how much
AGENT05:41pm
I
HOMEOWNER05:41pm
different it sounds like at least. I know it's a little bit different than a lease, but it's still, um, I don't, you know, if we decide to sell the buyer. is going to have to, I don't, does it automatically go to the buyer to the new
AGENT05:42pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
buyer, or
AGENT05:42pm
Correct.
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
do they have
AGENT05:42pm
Automatically
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
to get, have so there's no like credit or anything. that needs to be checked
AGENT05:42pm
mm mm. Yeah, nothing like that with these newer programs with the power purchase agreements. They're not like the programs from the past. I know there was horror stories in the past where homeowners need to qualify not only for the home, but now for the solar, and they have to run their credit twice. It's nothing in regards to that with the power purchase agreement, you're, the, the savings that your mother is seeing, she can easily pass that on to the next homeowner and now the homeowner, it's kind of like calling into California to, you know how if you buy a new property, you need to call and be like, hey, I'm
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
Yeah.
AGENT05:42pm
the new homeowner, uh, here's my information. Uh, I'll, I'll be, uh, one making the payments now. Same exact
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
Now
AGENT05:42pm
thing with
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
what
AGENT05:42pm
the solar.
HOMEOWNER05:42pm
yeah, now what if we decide to or we wanna move it to one of our other properties.
AGENT05:42pm
Mm. Gotcha. That's a really good question. I actually don't get asked that a lot, but I'm glad that you did. So if you would want to move the solar, that home is tailored or that solar is tailored for that home, right? Because each home and their energy usage is different. So if you were to like own the system, by all means, you can take it down and take it with you. But we really don't recommend that for homeowners, because right, if you were to take that to a new property. It's not gonna compare to the same energy usage you had on the other property, right? Cause it depends on how big the home was, uh, right, the energy appliances that were in there for more energy efficient or not. So we always recommend homeowners if they were to get solar, if you wanted to move it, the only way you could is if you were to like purchase your cash or finance, but if it's part of a power purchase agreement, then of course it would stay on that property and that new homeowner just takes over it.
HOMEOWNER05:43pm
OK
AGENT05:43pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:43pm
And then I guess another question is what if we later on we end up needing or we end up using I um I I guess example is I move in with my family over to this house.
AGENT05:44pm
Yeah, you,
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
and
AGENT05:44pm
you use more energy.
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
now we're using more electricity.
AGENT05:44pm
Mhm. Yeah, really good question. Well, that's something
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
and we
AGENT05:44pm
you
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
upgrade later?
AGENT05:44pm
yeah, I mean, that's definitely something that's in the, in the works for homeowners. So if they have existing systems, let's just say for instance if you get an electric vehicle or you do plan on adding a pool. We can definitely add to that system now, but I always like to recommend homeowners if you are looking into solar and if you any future plans of either adding to the property, getting an electric vehicle, maybe adding a jacuzzi or pool, something that draws a lot of power. You want to be pretty transparent with the energy consultant because what they can do is they can add future consumption in for you. So when you do make that switch, you won't get hit the second go from California Edison.
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
Yeah
AGENT05:44pm
Yeah, but
HOMEOWNER05:44pm
right
AGENT05:44pm
if, let's just say for instance, something were to come up that, oh, a family member needs to move in, it's an emergency and you didn't see it coming, then of course we can add to that system as well.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
yeah, and those other plans that you were mentioning,
AGENT05:45pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
is that something that's coming out soon or it's already
AGENT05:45pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
out or?
AGENT05:45pm
no, it's already out. Uh, we're just, uh, uh implementing it for homeowners this upcoming week so that's something that my energy consultant can actually talk to you guys about as well. Um, if you have some availability, uh, I know they will be in the area in the later part of the week, uh, for you guys. So if you have
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
Yeah,
AGENT05:45pm
some
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
I
AGENT05:45pm
time,
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
just, I
AGENT05:45pm
mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
honestly don't care to talk to someone in person. I prefer to do my research and then come up with questions and then get answered because the thing with in person it's
AGENT05:45pm
mhm
HOMEOWNER05:45pm
again I've, I've, I've been through this. They're really pushing on getting and getting in, getting in, uh, it, it just I'd rather not. I'd rather
AGENT05:45pm
Sure
AGENT05:47pm
Correct. Yes, there's a
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
OK
AGENT05:47pm
finance options as well as cash options. So if either one works for you guys in that regard, they literally break down each program and see which one works best for, you know, in
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
now
AGENT05:47pm
your mother's
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
is there,
AGENT05:47pm
situation.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
do you know, is there a price difference of cash or finance?
AGENT05:47pm
Um, no,
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
uh
AGENT05:47pm
not that I know of. I know with finance, it's traditionally like, you know, financing a vehicle, so there might be um uh an interest on it in regards to the cash, it might be
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
well,
AGENT05:47pm
a little
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah,
AGENT05:47pm
bit cheaper,
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah, yeah,
AGENT05:47pm
but
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
for sure,
AGENT05:47pm
yeah.
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
yeah, for sure with the loan. I'm just looking
AGENT05:47pm
yeah
HOMEOWNER05:47pm
at like I guess out the door price type of thing.
AGENT05:48pm
Oh
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
um
AGENT05:48pm
no, out the door traditionally, it's the same exact thing as the cash option. It's just, of course, if you were to finance it, then it has that interest on it.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
OK, yeah, because I think again, I, I, I don't, I don't really care for that long term
AGENT05:48pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
contract. So,
AGENT05:48pm
OK. Yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
if
AGENT05:48pm
I
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
you
AGENT05:48pm
mean, that's
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
wanna,
AGENT05:48pm
definitely
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
yeah,
AGENT05:48pm
something
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
we can, we can set something up for maybe a a Zoom call just to kinda what is well I guess, uh, yeah, I can provide like the, the, the annual cost and how much it would be
AGENT05:48pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
as a for a purchase.
AGENT05:48pm
Of course, yeah, I mean, we could definitely do something like that. The only thing we would need prior to the Zoom consultation, it would actually be your mother's energy bill. So if you have that, we would need page one and page 3 of her latest utility bill because that would give us a better indication of what size system she needs and then that's what our energy consultant can actually go over the different options for you.
HOMEOWNER05:48pm
OK, yeah, I can provide that page one, oops, let me get my notes here. page one and page 3.
AGENT05:49pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
OK, yeah, I can provide that and then yeah, I, I can also take a picture of her, of her panel.
AGENT05:49pm
Perfect. Yeah, that would work out great. And then uh what I can do for you is I can actually set that up for you tentatively if next week works best for you, like on the either a Wednesday or a Thursday in the afternoons or mornings. We do have that time slot available so I can send that Zoom link
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
that
AGENT05:49pm
over and you can meet with the consultant.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
OK, yeah, and then I know, I know the roof is fairly I guess new because it was, she had it done. 2020,
AGENT05:49pm
Oh, OK.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
a few years ago, so it's not, so
AGENT05:49pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER05:49pm
I don't have any issues with the roof. uh, as in like, you know, um. yeah, it should be fairly new so. we're good with that
AGENT05:49pm
Perfect. Yeah, as long as you're able to send uh page 1, page 3, and the picture of that main panel unit. I can definitely go ahead and set up that Zoom call and then we can go ahead and uh uh help you out with either the cash option, finance, or, or the power purchase agreement, whichever one you wanna look into, whichever one makes more sense, they can break that all down for you.
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
Yeah, OK, and then,
AGENT05:50pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
uh, yeah, so just do you want me to text you that information?
AGENT05:50pm
Uh, yes, yeah,
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
or
AGENT05:50pm
yeah, you can actually send it to this number here, the number I sent you the link to, uh, you can send me all
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
yeah
AGENT05:50pm
that and then what I can do in the meantime, I can tentatively set this for you. Would next week like around Wednesday or Thursday be good for you?
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
yeah, I think well let me, the one that should be uh good for me. Let me see. Well, no, actually my wife has a account I don't have that.
AGENT05:50pm
Mhm
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
so I think Wednesday should be fine.
AGENT05:50pm
Gotcha. And then does the morning or afternoon work better for you, Mr. Garcia?
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
because he probably just I guess can we do like uh more of an evening call?
AGENT05:50pm
Evening? Yeah, of course. So like uh around this time
HOMEOWNER05:50pm
OK
AGENT05:50pm
good, like 5:30, 6.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
Uh, well, I normally today actually I got off a little bit early. I'm usually I should be available between 6:30, I guess maybe we can do 7.
AGENT05:51pm
Yeah, 7 is perfect because 7's the last uh time slot we do have for that day. So I can do 7.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
OK.
AGENT05:51pm
So I'll tentatively
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
yeah
AGENT05:51pm
set it for you for Wednesday at 7. Once you send me page 1, page 3, and that main panel unit, I can go ahead and call and confirm to make sure it's all set up.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
uh
AGENT05:51pm
Uh, but yeah, other than that, I, I can, uh, send you a text message just letting you know you're technically set for Wednesday at 7, and once we receive that, you'll be all set, OK?
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
OK, we can do that. All right, thanks.
AGENT05:51pm
Awesome. Sounds good, Mr. Garcia. Well, it was a pleasure speaking with you again. I'm, I'm happy I'm able to answer all your questions and then the consultant, of course, will be with you, but once you send all that over, we can go ahead and uh confirm for Wednesday at 7.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
Yeah, all right, thanks
AGENT05:51pm
Sounds good. You have a great, uh, day, Mr. Garcia and enjoy your weekend.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
All right you too thanks
AGENT05:51pm
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER05:51pm
bye
AGENT05:51pm
Bye-bye.

···
HOMEOWNER3:28
Right
AGENT10:13
which I know we can definitely help you get lower with these programs because having a bill of $200 is still, you know, pretty high when it comes down to energy usage and as a whole. So we can help reduce that by up to 40%. So it's just a matter of seeing, you know, your property is a good fit for him and like I mentioned, nothing comes out of pocket for these programs. So there's no loan involved. There's no down payment, nothing for the installation. It's just as long as yourself and your property able to qualify, that's how we're able to help homeowners out. Does that kind of make sense so far
HOMEOWNER10:24
Well, like I yeah, it makes sense, but, uh, I, I have to be comparing apples to apples. I'd have to you know, uh, can, can you, can you just email me the information or
AGENT0:21
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER10:25
is this something
AGENT0:18
someone
HOMEOWNER10:25
that somebody
AGENT12:15pm
does have
HOMEOWNER1:46
has
AGENT12:15pm
to show
HOMEOWNER0:32
to
AGENT12:15pm
up because
HOMEOWNER1:09
show
AGENT2:56
they
HOMEOWNER1:46
up.
AGENT11:04
need to make sure that your property is a good fit. I mean, what I could do is just like send you information regarding the program and how it works, but it's just gonna give you some general information like on how the program works, kind of like how I'm talking to you about now. But if you wanted like the detailed numbers and comparing apples to apples like you said, that's when the consultant stops by because they can actually show you how much you're averaging right now would be paid, and then of course, show you what it would look like if you were to transfer over. So, um, if you have some time, Tim, uh, it only takes roughly around 30 minutes. They just take a look at that bill, wrapped up the savings report, and then answer any questions you may have. Um, if you have some time either early morning or afternoons, they can just stop by and break it all down for you.
HOMEOWNER11:10
Well, can you do anything for, uh, county taxes
···
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yo
AGENT0:08
Hey, hello, is this uh
HOMEOWNER12:04pm
speaking
AGENT0:18
Hey, Timothy, my name's Josh. Uh, I was giving you a call, I believe you spoke with someone on my team this past Thursday. It was just regarding helping you lower your current energy bill. Do you recall that?
HOMEOWNER0:21
Yeah, what was it about the end?
AGENT0:32
Yeah, so the reason why we're calling is because you may qualify for a government endorsed program. All it does is reduce your electricity bill by 40%. So that's why I was just reaching out just to see if you're a good fit then.
HOMEOWNER12:05pm
OK. Um
AGENT7:54
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER0:37
how much, how much is a kilowatt?
AGENT0:08
Uh,
HOMEOWNER12:05pm
or kilowatt
AGENT0:41
how much is the price per kilowatt you're talking about?
HOMEOWNER0:42
Yeah, price per
AGENT1:09
Yes.
HOMEOWNER0:43
kilowatt hour.
AGENT0:47
Of course. So it ranges depending on the size of the system you get, but it's anywhere I believe from
HOMEOWNER0:18
that
AGENT0:51
16 cents to 20 cents, and it's fixed, meaning that once you get locked in at that
HOMEOWNER0:37
how
AGENT1:46
rate,
HOMEOWNER0:54
much 15 to 20 cents
AGENT1:09
yes, but it depends on the size of the system so you can get locked in at 15 cents. You can get locked in at 1617. It really just depends. So that's why we do have a consultant go out to you to break everything down, answer any questions, and show you exactly how much you can save.
HOMEOWNER1:11
I think I'm already locked in at 10 cents.
AGENT1:11
10
HOMEOWNER0:32
So that's
AGENT0:51
cents.
HOMEOWNER1:13
really not the
AGENT12:05pm
Oh wow.
HOMEOWNER12:05pm
deal.
AGENT1:15
Uh, who's your energy company, if you don't mind me asking?
HOMEOWNER12:05pm
What's that?
AGENT0:08
Is,
HOMEOWNER0:37
How
AGENT1:30
is your
HOMEOWNER0:37
much
AGENT1:30
energy, is your energy company Duquene Lite or is it Penallec? Hello, Tim Hello, Tim. Can you hear me?
HOMEOWNER1:32
Hello can you hear me? Yeah
AGENT1:33
Oh, OK, there you go. Are, are you
HOMEOWNER0:08
I
AGENT1:35
a Duquee Light or are you with Penalli for your energy company?
HOMEOWNER1:37
Um, Duke can like
AGENT1:46
Duking Light, OK, that's very strange cause I know their rates did go up this year and it went up as high as 12%. So I don't believe you guys are at
HOMEOWNER0:18
that.
AGENT1:49
a 10% price per kilowatt anymore. I think it went up.
HOMEOWNER1:55
No, no, no, no, no, no, you, you see, I get my energy well I was getting my energy
AGENT12:06pm
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER1:59
from uh Frontier where is it? Frontier Utilities.
AGENT0:18
OK
HOMEOWNER2:39
and um let's see here, I'm looking at it. I last this is, this is oh this is 3 months. hang on, let me get one of 3. Hey, I don't know about saving money, but 47 that's why you stay like my let's do. cool maybe still here in my pile so put away yet. Anyhow
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER2:42
in 15 cents is that total?
AGENT2:45
Yes, so that, that
HOMEOWNER0:21
Yeah
AGENT2:54
means that's the price per kilowatt that the energy is coming in. I believe Duquene lights around a 19. Yeah, I don't think
HOMEOWNER0:32
see
AGENT2:56
they're at a 10 because they, they just
HOMEOWNER0:21
the.
AGENT3:01
had a 12% rate increase this year, but let me double check that for you. Give me one second.
HOMEOWNER3:07
do, doking like is my transit. They're not my producer
AGENT12:07pm
Mm, OK
HOMEOWNER3:11
if you understand what I'm talking about Yeah,
AGENT12:07pm
So they're
HOMEOWNER3:28
right
AGENT0:21
the
HOMEOWNER1:46
now
AGENT5:37
ones that
HOMEOWNER0:18
I'm
AGENT3:14
transmit the energy to you.
HOMEOWNER0:43
yeah I am, right, my rate per kilowatt hour. is 0.1059.
AGENT3:35
Yeah, so 10 cents. OK. Gotcha. So Duking like, and, and then, OK, so who do you pay your bills? Is it Duquene Lite or is it a different company?
HOMEOWNER3:38
I pay, I pay to Dukeing Light.
AGENT7:09
Hmm
HOMEOWNER3:41
but but here's the thing
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER3:45
once again, I see, I used to work for the gas company and much like you can buy gas off of anybody as long as, as long as they could theoretically get the gas to your pipe. The, the way they do it is they have X amount of people who get gas. And what they do is they put it into the pipeline. and you know, and and once it's in that pipeline, they record how much gas goes into that pipeline. And then when people buy gas, they can say, I want that gas off of Joe Schmo over here at Five Cents, you know, a CFM and um so he's getting it for 5 cents a CFM where Harry over here, he's paying 10 cents because he's getting it right off the right off the um the distributor and the producer. So I'm not sure, I'm not
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER4:41
exactly sure what my delivery, you know, my delivery rate would be, but this is what I'm paying per ki
AGENT3:35
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER12:09pm
1 hour.
AGENT5:37
OK. Just because I, I'm reading here, this is off of Duquene Light Company's website. The price to compare their averaging out right now with the rate increases around 20 cents price per kilowatt. So that's where I'm just a little confused because if you, if the distributor, which is the people that of course distribute the power to you Duquene Light Company. They're the ones that are in charge of the price per kilowatt as well, so that's just very strange because it, it started in effect from actually June 1st all the way through November, so last month, uh, they're including distribut distribute that, I can't talk right now. Distribution and other service fees, which average around to around 20 cents price per kilowatt. So you're probably getting the 10 cents from them, but because of distribution fees and other service fees I probably paying for care programs and all that other stuff, it probably averages out to around 20, but for the raw energy coming from it, it's probably around that 10
HOMEOWNER0:08
I
AGENT12:10pm
to 14 cents.
HOMEOWNER5:46
mean Yeah, see, I, I don't see where I would be I, I just don't see very much of an advantage.
AGENT8:31
Mhm Well,
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
of going
AGENT2:39
let me
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
through that
AGENT5:52
ask you this, how much are you currently paying for your energy and for your latest utility bill. How much did you pay?
HOMEOWNER6:03
Well, that's what I'm trying to find, trying to find my list. You can't like Bill can't seem to find it. I don't know why. Um, I I pray up on my checkbook to find out how much I
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER6:12
paid. You got one before you wanna probably head it out that I was looking at the I just got the new one. um 00
AGENT0:21
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:47
it's
AGENT12:10pm
cause your
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
gonna showed
AGENT0:18
current
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
on here
AGENT12:10pm
prices
HOMEOWNER12:10pm
or not.
AGENT6:31
for like raw energies is around 14 cents, but once you tack on like the distribution fees and the other service fees that averages out to around 20, depending on, you know, where you live at. But yeah, that's usually where it's at.
HOMEOWNER6:39
OK Now, this is, this was back and forth, which would have been what, um,
AGENT0:18
OK
HOMEOWNER0:43
April Yeah, April I was paying 0.052 cents per kilowatt hour
AGENT6:52
So 52 cents, 0.052. Let me see.
HOMEOWNER6:56
No, that would be 50 cents. That's 5 cents.
AGENT7:09
Hmm. Yeah, OK, cause I know their rates did go up. There's no one that's paying 5 cents price per kilowatt anymore or even 10 cents. Averages right now are anywhere between the 14 cents to around 20 cents. Sometimes even more too depending on how much
HOMEOWNER4:14
you know
AGENT7:39
energy you use, but it's, those are the rates that homeowners are now seeing because in Pennsylvania alone, it's not just Duquee Light, it's also Penalle and other companies. They've seen a spike within their energy, probably within the past 3 years, I'd want to say almost near 40 to 50%. So that's why homeow ner s are seeing their bills just go skyrocketing in the past couple of years, but I know that in regards to what you're paying price per kilowatt, it's definitely around. It should be around 14 to 20 cents now, especially starting June 1st.
HOMEOWNER7:43
You know what, actually I'm wrong. It, it's, it's, it's like 12
AGENT7:43
Fulfins. Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER0:51
cents.
AGENT7:46
That makes more sense then. Yeah, and then started June 1st
HOMEOWNER0:18
that,
AGENT7:47
is when they implemented the 12%
HOMEOWNER12:12pm
that is like
AGENT7:54
rate increase so it shot up to that 1415 cents now. Mhm. So you're
HOMEOWNER4:14
you know
AGENT8:13
definitely paying for your energy temp. That's why I was just reaching out. I know when you spoke to my team member they advised you we're paying at at least above $60 is what they asked you. So my job was just to ask you a couple questions here to see if you're a good fit. And then if you are, we just send someone out to you to break everything down and ultimately give you that full breakdown of everything, OK?
HOMEOWNER8:30
Yeah, I'm, I'm really kind of busy right now. I don't have time for that. Uh, you know, it's like. you know, everybody's hurt, but I'm not hurt that bad. Um. this is, this is back, this is for March, which is pretty cold.
AGENT8:31
Mhm. Well, do you experience
HOMEOWNER0:32
Um,
AGENT12:13pm
higher bills
HOMEOWNER0:08
I
AGENT0:18
in
HOMEOWNER6:12
paid
AGENT0:21
the
HOMEOWNER0:18
a
AGENT8:34
summertime or in the wintertime?
HOMEOWNER8:39
um, probably in the
AGENT7:54
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER8:40
summertime cause, cause
AGENT1:33
Oh, OK,
HOMEOWNER8:45
I have a
AGENT3:35
got
HOMEOWNER8:42
pool
AGENT8:42
you. Run the pool pump and all that.
HOMEOWNER8:45
and and I have, I have air conditioning
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER8:49
and I have a um saltwater aquarium which obviously I have a pump that
AGENT8:49
Gotcha Gotcha. So you
HOMEOWNER12:13pm
runs 24/7.
AGENT8:51
probably pay a pretty penny for your energy
HOMEOWNER0:18
so
AGENT0:32
then.
HOMEOWNER9:00
yeah, I, I paid 183. This is back in, um, this is back in
AGENT3:35
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER8:30
March
AGENT9:02
So probably summertime when you're running
HOMEOWNER0:18
So.
AGENT9:08
the pool pump using the AC a little bit more, probably around 250, maybe 300 around there.
HOMEOWNER9:16
you know, and, and all, all in all, it all averages out because obviously my gas bill is almost nothing during the summer. It's, you know, like 25 bucks or something. Um and that's just because I have a hot
AGENT7:54
Mhm
HOMEOWNER9:31
water tank and a stove. Um, so, it averages out in the wintertime, I use less electricity,
AGENT3:35
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER12:14pm
but I use
AGENT0:18
So
HOMEOWNER1:49
more
AGENT2:39
let's
HOMEOWNER3:45
gas.
AGENT9:42
just say then your energy bill and your low months are probably 150 and then on your high months, let's just cut it to 250, probably averaging around 200 for your energy,
HOMEOWNER3:28
Right
AGENT10:13
which I know we can definitely help you get lower with these programs because having a bill of $200 is still, you know, pretty high when it comes down to energy usage and as a whole.
AGENT3:28
right
HOMEOWNER11:11
or school taxes.
AGENT11:15
At that point, man, I wish we could do all though. That's where
HOMEOWNER11:20
Yeah, that's, like I'm, I, that's my minimum payment is 25
AGENT12:15pm
wow,
HOMEOWNER12:16pm
over 2500
AGENT0:21
yeah,
HOMEOWNER9:23
bucks.
AGENT11:30
that's, yeah, they're killing us everywhere now. It's like everywhere you turn, they're charging you to breathe some air now. Mm.
HOMEOWNER11:33
Yeah, I'm sure there's a reason for it too.
AGENT1:09
Oh
HOMEOWNER12:16pm
Somebody's
AGENT0:21
yeah.
HOMEOWNER12:16pm
making some
AGENT0:18
So
HOMEOWNER2:39
money
AGENT11:35
we're lighting
HOMEOWNER12:16pm
somewhere.
AGENT11:36
someone's pocket,
HOMEOWNER0:51
and
AGENT11:58
but I mean, at at least with the, you know, you're able to go ahead and help at least yourself lower that bill. So that's why it's beneficial for homeowners, cause it's something you're already paying for through your taxes. So might as well see if you're able to take advantage of it, you know, so that's why we're just helping some homeowners out here, Tim, if you have some time in the morning, they are in the area this week, so, you know, if morning or
HOMEOWNER1:33
area
AGENT12:01
afternoon time works real love for them to stop by and see if they're able to help you.
HOMEOWNER0:32
um
AGENT12:09
Wednesday
HOMEOWNER12:09
let's say Wednesday morning,
AGENT11:04
morning,
HOMEOWNER0:08
is
AGENT2:39
let
HOMEOWNER0:18
that
AGENT0:18
me
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK?
AGENT12:13
see. And how early were you thinking? Cause we can go as early as 9:00 a.m. for Wednesday morning.
HOMEOWNER12:19
Um I, I, I really don't care, you know, it could be
AGENT12:19
After afternoon
HOMEOWNER11:04
afternoon
AGENT4:34
Sure,
HOMEOWNER7:09
too.
AGENT4:34
sure.
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
Um, just
AGENT0:08
Uh,
HOMEOWNER2:39
let
AGENT0:08
I
HOMEOWNER0:18
me
AGENT3:52
could
HOMEOWNER1:46
know
AGENT0:18
do
HOMEOWNER4:14
when.
AGENT12:27
like uh Wednesday around, would 10:30 be good for you? 10 : 30 Perfect,
HOMEOWNER0:21
Yeah,
AGENT0:32
then.
HOMEOWNER12:27
10:30
AGENT12:28
Well, what, what
HOMEOWNER4:41
would
AGENT0:18
I'll
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
be all right.
AGENT12:53
then, I'll just send you a text message just letting you know you're all set for Wednesday at 10:30. Uh, if you have your latest bill there, that would be great cause that, that would be the most comparable one because they could take your usage for the full year and actually show you how much you can save, but if you have a couple bills that are a little bit older, that'll be fine as well. Uh, they just need to see that bar graph to where it shows how much you use for the entire year, all right? All right, cool, Tim. Awesome.
HOMEOWNER12:53
All right,
AGENT0:18
So
HOMEOWNER4:34
sure
AGENT13:04
it looks like you're all set there. Just a quick question for you. Do you have any like big trees or tall buildings that provide shade over, uh, your roof by any chance? Awesome.
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
No, we cut them
AGENT7:54
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER13:06
down. I cut them down.
AGENT0:21
Yeah
HOMEOWNER13:12
I get tired of raking leaves and it, it was at a point that I was actually me and my neighbor and I were both afraid that the one tree was getting
AGENT1:09
Oh,
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
pretty big.
AGENT0:21
yeah,
HOMEOWNER0:18
It was
AGENT1:13
no,
HOMEOWNER11:04
gonna
AGENT0:32
that's
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
fall
AGENT7:39
definitely,
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
on the house
AGENT13:17
you don't want that
HOMEOWNER12:17pm
eventually.
AGENT13:24
to happen. Then you have to go through insurance and that, that takes more than forever. But all right OK, I'm guessing roof
HOMEOWNER0:21
Yeah
AGENT13:26
good condition too, right? Everything's good there.
HOMEOWNER13:31
Yeah, I just have a roof replaced like
AGENT12:53
Awesome.
HOMEOWNER2:39
3
AGENT0:18
OK.
HOMEOWNER13:36
years ago.
AGENT13:33
Oh, brand new then.
HOMEOWNER13:36
like 3 years ago, maybe 4, yeah, it's
AGENT12:53
Awesome
HOMEOWNER12:18pm
relatively
AGENT0:32
then.
HOMEOWNER6:18
new,
AGENT1:55
Well,
HOMEOWNER0:21
yeah,
AGENT2:39
let me
HOMEOWNER0:47
it's
AGENT0:32
go
HOMEOWNER12:18pm
in good
AGENT11:58
ahead and
HOMEOWNER12:18pm
shape.
AGENT13:42
actually set this up for you then so I got you down for this
HOMEOWNER0:08
uh.
AGENT13:53
Wednesday at 10:30. I'll send you that text message in the meantime, Tim, I know you're pretty busy right now, but just go ahead and give me a like, thumbs up or just respond to the message just to let us know that you got it, OK? Awesome then,
HOMEOWNER12:18pm
All righty.
AGENT14:01
and then one last thing here, it's the property here on 319 Ridgemont Drive in Industry, correct? Awesome, then. Perfect.
HOMEOWNER0:32
That's
AGENT14:05
Uh, I'll send you that text message shortly and uh we look forward to meeting you
HOMEOWNER0:18
a
AGENT14:09
Wednesday at 10:30. All right, sounds good. You have a great rest of your day.
HOMEOWNER12:18pm
Alrighty
AGENT12:18pm
Mhm. Bye-bye
HOMEOWNER14:13
You too bye bye

HOMEOWNER12:54pm
OK, we can
AGENT12:54pm
OK
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
take, I can look into it, no commitment yet, but you know I'm
AGENT12:54pm
Sure
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
certainly willing to look at check
AGENT12:54pm
Absolutely.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
it out
AGENT12:54pm
Absolutely. I mean, the main qualification, right, is these programs, um, they're homeowner based. Would you say you're the homeowner here on Texas Avenue?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
Oh yes, yes, I
AGENT12:54pm
Awesome.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
am. Mhm.
AGENT12:54pm
Is there anyone else on side of the property with you like a spouse or family member?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
No, just me.
AGENT12:54pm
Just you? Awesome. As far as like the main qualification goes right since these programs are government endorsed. They just wanna make sure you have a standing credit score above 670. Do you feel like you'd meet that requirement?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
I probably do. I pay all my bills on time. I don't know offhand. How do you even know what that number is.
···
HOMEOWNER12:49pm
Hello
AGENT12:49pm
Hi Christine
HOMEOWNER12:49pm
Yes.
AGENT12:49pm
Hi Christine. My name is Adam. Uh, I'm calling because I believe you spoke with a team member of mine a couple of minutes ago in regards to the new energy program. How's your day
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
Yes,
AGENT12:50pm
going?
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
OK,
AGENT12:50pm
Good,
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
just
AGENT12:50pm
good
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
got back from out of town, so kind of on overload
AGENT12:50pm
Uh Oh, I,
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
right now.
AGENT12:50pm
I
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
OK
AGENT12:50pm
totally hear you on that,
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
yes
AGENT12:50pm
uh, uh, we're actually just reaching out because there was a, a notice you should have received in the mail about the 2026 billing structure changes. I'm not sure if you got the chance to receive that one yet?
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
I believe not. No, I did not.
AGENT12:50pm
No worries. Uh, uh, ultimately, it's just a
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
And what
AGENT12:50pm
letter.
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
is it about? This is all about the electric company, right?
AGENT12:50pm
correct. It's just about how they're raising the rates just to maintain the power grid. Now, unfortunately, right, that just means your power bill is gonna go up. But
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
Of course.
AGENT12:50pm
as, as it always does, unfortunately, right? But do you recall like
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
74
AGENT12:50pm
how much you paid on the most recent power bill
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
uh guess I'm trying to think, um. too many damn bills is what it is.
AGENT12:50pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER12:50pm
I, where are we've had, oh, here, my all my lesson was pretty small, 9956.
AGENT12:51pm
OK. Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
Pa, May 18th.
AGENT12:51pm
Gotcha.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
Mhm
AGENT12:51pm
And, and do you know how much you pay in like the summer time?
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
I have to look it up. I know a lot. I mean, it, you know, it's, hey, it's one of those things you don't like it, but you, you ain't
AGENT12:51pm
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
got a lot of choices. I got one here for 104,
AGENT12:51pm
I.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
uh, another one for 106. Another one for a 108.
AGENT12:51pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
These are all the ones that I'm going back
AGENT12:51pm
Sure.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
looking at yeah. Oh, not too bad but they've been much worse in the past, so I guess that's summer's approaching, so they'll get worse.
AGENT12:51pm
No, yeah, definitely. I mean, that's
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
not funny
AGENT12:51pm
actually
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
but it's the way it is.
AGENT12:51pm
yeah, I mean, the reason we're reaching out is because we're currently helping homeowners in the area qualify for these newer government indoor solar programs. that are just made for you to pay for cheaper power than what you're paying and help you avoid these rate increases as long as you can get approved for it, of course.
HOMEOWNER12:51pm
Right, of course. And what was your name, sir?
AGENT12:52pm
My name is Adam
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
Adam, OK Uh, so tell me what's going on, what I need to know, what
AGENT12:52pm
Yeah,
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
whatever.
AGENT12:52pm
so, so, so essentially, right, if you can qualify for the solar program, it actually helps you avoid these rate increases and lock in the rate that around what you're paying right now. But you can get more energy. That way you can run it more comfortably without having to worry about your bill going up in the summer.
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
No, uh-huh
AGENT12:52pm
But I mean, I'm
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
I was
AGENT12:52pm
curious.
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
um
AGENT12:52pm
had you ever heard
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
go ahead
AGENT12:52pm
anything about the solar or looked into it in the past?
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
Oh yeah, I've looked into solar but it wasn't, I wasn't, I didn't feel it was that good of a deal, whatever.
AGENT12:52pm
Gotcha. And do you recall how long ago that was?
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
No, I really don't. I paid too many bills.
AGENT12:52pm
Yeah
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
It had to be more than a year ago, but I don't, you know,
AGENT12:52pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
know offhand.
AGENT12:52pm
No worries. I mean, is your power bill company right now with uh Edison or is it DWP?
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
Yes
AGENT12:52pm
Edison
HOMEOWNER12:52pm
No, Alison, yes,
AGENT12:53pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
Southern California Edison, yes.
AGENT12:53pm
Well, the benefit
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
Mhm.
AGENT12:53pm
that you actually can get right now, Christine, is with this new program that's out. It actually helps you be able to lock in at around the price where you're paying maybe a little bit less. Uh, but what happens is, is now you don't have to worry about your bill going up and down throughout the year. You'll know exactly how much you're paying and you can run your AC more comfortably without getting penalized for it. Um,
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
Yeah
AGENT12:53pm
that way you can at least pay for cheaper energy and have that predictability.
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
Mhm,
AGENT12:53pm
Um,
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
I see, mhm.
AGENT12:53pm
do you feel like that's something you'd be open to taking a look into?
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
Well, I, I could look at
AGENT12:53pm
Well,
HOMEOWNER12:53pm
it sure.
AGENT12:53pm
just so you're aware, right, the way that it works is it's, it's a great program that's out right now where as long as you and your property qualifies, essentially you'd already be doing what you're doing right now. The only difference is the company would be able to help you get locked in at a fixed rate. That way you don't have to worry about your bill going up. Now, ultimately, right, well my job is to do is ask you a couple questions that won't take longer than a minute to see if you're
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
OK
AGENT12:54pm
a good fit for this solar program. That way if you are of course on a different date we can show you a free savings report and ultimately see if we can get approved to help you cut down on that bill.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
OK, we can
AGENT12:54pm
OK
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
take, I can look into it, no commitment yet, but you know I'm
AGENT12:54pm
Sure
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
certainly willing to look at check
AGENT12:54pm
Absolutely.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
it out
AGENT12:54pm
Absolutely. I mean, the main qualification, right, is these programs, um, they're homeowner based. Would you say you're the homeowner here on Texas Avenue?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
Oh yes, yes, I
AGENT12:54pm
Awesome.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
am. Mhm.
AGENT12:54pm
Is there anyone else on side of the property with you like a spouse or family member?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
No, just me.
AGENT12:54pm
Just you? Awesome. As far as like the main qualification goes right since these programs are government endorsed. They just wanna make sure you have a standing credit score above 670. Do you feel like you'd meet that requirement?
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
I probably do. I pay all my bills on time. I don't know offhand. How do you even know what that number is.
AGENT12:54pm
So
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
I don't get involved in shit like that. I just pay my bills,
AGENT12:54pm
awesome.
HOMEOWNER12:54pm
write checks, or whatever.
AGENT12:54pm
Well, we, well, let me ask you this, are you usually like on time with all your utility payments, right? Like there's, you
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
Yes
AGENT12:55pm
don't really miss anything?
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
No, I, I always pay my bills, yes.
AGENT12:55pm
Awesome. And there's no like bankruptcy or foreclosure under your name, correct?
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
Oh, no, no, never,
AGENT12:55pm
Of
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
no.
AGENT12:55pm
course. OK, not a problem then that won't be an issue. Now, as far as like the sunlight exposure on the roof, would you say you get exposed to a lot of sunlight?
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
Oh, we're good to go miss getting and you know, a decent amount. I mean, it's never dark in the house. I can go without
AGENT12:55pm
Oh,
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
lights most of the time.
AGENT12:55pm
no,
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
except to evening, you know,
AGENT12:55pm
00
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
what.
AGENT12:55pm
yeah, no, not a problem. I, I was just referring to like the outside of the roof like would you say that that it's exposed to like sunlight?
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
I, how would I know?
AGENT12:55pm
That's something that I can help check off for you just in case. Um, so that's not
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
Yeah.
AGENT12:55pm
a problem, no worries.
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
Mhm.
AGENT12:55pm
Um, and then
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
I just pay my bills keep off nice
AGENT12:55pm
yeah.
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
cook. Beor thinks, no, I'm kidding.
AGENT12:55pm
No, of course. And then lastly, just to reconfirm, right, the uh as far as like the roof's condition, would you say there's any leaks on it, any damages you're aware of?
HOMEOWNER12:55pm
No, no, none
AGENT12:55pm
OK.
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
that I'm aware of, at least, no.
AGENT12:56pm
OK. No worries then. Well, awesome, Christina, I mean based on the information you gave me, it looks like potentially you could be a good fit for this program, right? The next step for us is really simple. Our job is really just to help find a better day and time where you have a spare 30 minutes where we can have what's called a 30 minute in home consultation and assessment. What that consists of is we would show you a free savings report and ultimately see if you can get approved to help you cut down on that bill, give you that predictability. Um, as far as like your availability for something like that, is that usually more like a morning time or afternoon time
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
afternoon probably. Mhm.
AGENT12:56pm
OK. Cause I do see we have energy consultants in the area here in Simi Valley on I believe Friday. Would you happen to have some availability in the afternoon maybe on
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
Yeah.
AGENT12:56pm
Friday, like around 2?
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
I, let me look cause I was just out of town. I just got home yesterday,
AGENT12:56pm
Yeah, no worries
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
so let me look at my calendar
AGENT12:56pm
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
one second.
AGENT12:56pm
Go ahead No worries
HOMEOWNER12:56pm
I'm walking over there. No, I have two appointments on Friday.
AGENT12:57pm
OK
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
Sorry.
AGENT12:57pm
No worries. Uh, what I do see here is I have, we also have uh the energy consultant area on Thursday, or maybe Thursday work better for you?
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
No, I have, no, I'm taking my duck. Dogging, she's got a problem with his butt. No,
AGENT12:57pm
Oh
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
I was lucky. I was so blessed, pleased because he came home yesterday and I
AGENT12:57pm
Of
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
was able
AGENT12:57pm
course.
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
to get him in because he needs to be. No, that's important. No, sorry.
AGENT12:57pm
A no, absolutely, absolutely. Take care of that.
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
Mhm
AGENT12:57pm
So, what I will say is we do work as early as 9 a.m. all the way to 7 p.m. Is there maybe an earlier time that you would prefer, maybe even an early morning?
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
me on the 21st or whatever.
AGENT12:57pm
Uh,
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
when
AGENT12:57pm
on the 21st, I, I do see we, well, we do have a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday open right now. Um, if you feel that, um, even a Saturday morning works for you. That's something that we could also do as well.
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
Oh, that would probably be better for me at
AGENT12:57pm
Better
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
least.
AGENT12:57pm
for you? OK.
HOMEOWNER12:57pm
Yeah
AGENT12:57pm
What I do see here as far as the Saturday goes, um, I do see we do have an opening, uh, let me see here. Let me see. At around 9. Would Saturday at 9 work for you?
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Mm, no, I don't want, I'm, I've worked nights most of my life, you know, I'm sorry, I tend to, you know, a little bit later on in the day.
AGENT12:58pm
OK. Later on in the day, let me double check your,
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Mhm,
AGENT12:58pm
uh
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
OK
AGENT12:58pm
cause I don't wanna give you a time that isn't available.
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Oh, of course
AGENT12:58pm
Um,
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
not. I'm not gonna lie to you and say I'll be
AGENT12:58pm
yeah
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
up and spunky.
AGENT12:58pm
Yeah. Let me see
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Those days
AGENT12:58pm
here.
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
are gone.
AGENT12:58pm
No, absolutely. I mean, if, if, if later on in the day of work, uh, what I do see is
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Mhm
AGENT12:58pm
we do have a 2 o'clock open on Saturday if that works for
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
Oh
AGENT12:58pm
you?
HOMEOWNER12:58pm
so that would be fine.
AGENT12:58pm
OK. So what I could definitely do then is pencil you down for Saturday at 2. right, all that would happen is the energy control would pop by, break down this program for you, answer any questions you may have, and then ultimately see if you can get approved for it to help you guys cut down on that bill, get that predictability. Um, now, the only thing I was gonna ask, you mentioned that you had your paper copy bill at present, right?
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
Have the what
AGENT12:59pm
Uh, the paper copy of the power bill.
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
Uh, I'm sure I do, yeah.
AGENT12:59pm
OK, as long as you can have that present, that won't be an issue. That's how we'll be able to conduct that savings report for you. Um,
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
Oh, OK
AGENT12:59pm
now, the,
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
I'll
AGENT12:59pm
that
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
make sure I do it. If not, you got to give me your name and your company
AGENT12:59pm
yeah
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
and the times.
AGENT12:59pm
Yeah, absolutely. So what I'm actually gonna do right now is I'm gonna send you a text message on this phone, um, on your
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
Oh OK
AGENT12:59pm
direct line that will let you know that it's set for Saturday at 2.
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
OK
AGENT12:59pm
if you can do me the favor of just giving me a like or a thumbs up on it. That way I know you received it, that'll be great. Um, and then the last thing I will do is, since it's set for Saturday, um, I'll give you the reminder on Friday, just a reminder of the power bill. Um, that
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
yeah,
AGENT12:59pm
way
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
that'd
AGENT12:59pm
you're
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
be a good
AGENT12:59pm
aware
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
idea
AGENT12:59pm
that you have it present, not a problem.
HOMEOWNER12:59pm
and you said that was for Saturday at 20 p.m.
AGENT01:00pm
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
I
AGENT01:00pm
So,
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
wrote it
AGENT01:00pm
so
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
and
AGENT01:00pm
right now
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
your
AGENT01:00pm
I'm
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
name
AGENT01:00pm
actually
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
is Adam.
AGENT01:00pm
and my name is Adam,
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
Mhm
AGENT01:00pm
correct. So I'm gonna go
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
Yeah and
AGENT01:00pm
ahead
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
what
AGENT01:00pm
and
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
is
AGENT01:00pm
oh, sorry, go ahead
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
was just gonna ask you what's your company's name is.
AGENT01:00pm
Yeah, so local Energy Partners.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
just local LCAay
AGENT01:00pm
Uh-huh. Energy
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
Partners.
AGENT01:00pm
Partners. Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
OK.
AGENT01:00pm
Awesome. So I'll go
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
And where are you located?
AGENT01:00pm
we're
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
I'm sorry.
AGENT01:00pm
here located, no worries, no, we're located here in Granada Hills.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
OK, great, got you.
AGENT01:00pm
Awesome. So I'll go ahead and send that text to you very shortly again, Christine, if you can please do me the
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
All right
AGENT01:00pm
favor again of just giving me a like or thumbs up on it. That way I know you received it, that'll be great.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
OK, sounds good.
AGENT01:00pm
Thank you. Take care. You can
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
OK,
AGENT01:00pm
expect
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
thank
AGENT01:00pm
the
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
you,
AGENT01:00pm
text
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
Adam
AGENT01:00pm
in about 5 minutes. Uh-huh. Thank you so much.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
thank you.
AGENT01:00pm
Bye-bye.
HOMEOWNER01:00pm
Mm bye bye.

HOMEOWNER1:37
there any way I can have you email me information about it?
AGENT1:53
yeah, absolutely. I could definitely try, try and do that to you after this call. Um, ultimately the reason we're calling was because I know in the past we tried finding a better time where we could actually have a consultant, uh, give you a free consultation on what that would look like on a different day for about 30 minutes. Um,
HOMEOWNER10:02am
Uh-huh
AGENT2:00
I know it's just obviously you got tied up and stuff, but I believe you at the time you were like on on traveling a little bit, um.
HOMEOWNER10:02am
Yup
AGENT2:08
that's why I was reaching out. I mean, I don't know if there's any possibility you have any availability sometime this week for about 30 minutes, maybe even on like a Thursday or Friday.
HOMEOWNER2:13
Uh, possibly on Friday.
···
AGENT10:00am
All right
HOMEOWNER0:03
Hello, this is Chris
AGENT0:17
Hey, how's it going, Chris? Um, I'm not sure if you remember me. My name is Adam. I'm calling because uh we spoke a couple, I wanna say about a month and a half or so back. Uh, it was in regards to the solar program I'm not sure if that rings a bell.
HOMEOWNER10:00am
Oh yeah
AGENT0:58
I, I was actually calling because, um, I was just advised by my team that there's a newer program that's out right now that, uh, homeowners are not really familiar with where to get solar now, there's an option where there's no annual rate increase on the actual power bill. What happens is, is the monthly bill that you'd be being fixed at would now stay the same throughout the entire term. So now that, now there's no rate increase at the end of every year. So that's why I'm, I'm touching uh back base with you because with this new program, um, you would now be locked in at a fixed cost for the whole entire term as opposed to you seeing annual rate increases with solar every year.
HOMEOWNER10:01am
Mhm
AGENT10:01am
So it's
HOMEOWNER10:01am
And with
AGENT0:17
a
HOMEOWNER1:05
the, the, the panels be leased or would they be owned? What's the
AGENT1:21
so the great thing with this new program is that you can actually own it, right? So you can own the system and there's no annual rate increase now moving forward. Um, of course, right, these are things that the energy consultant will be able to break down to you in further detail as far as how this newer program works, um,
HOMEOWNER10:01am
Mhm.
AGENT1:30
but, but, yeah, now, now homeowners can take advantage of owning the system and not having to worry about uh the annual rate increase like you had to before.
HOMEOWNER10:01am
Yeah. OK.
AGENT0:17
That
HOMEOWNER0:17
Um,
AGENT0:58
that's
HOMEOWNER0:03
is
AGENT10:02am
also
HOMEOWNER1:37
there any way I can have you email me information about it?
AGENT1:53
yeah, absolutely. I could definitely try, try and do that to you after this call.
AGENT2:27
Friday probably, uh, so the one thing I could tell you as far as like our availabilities goes if Friday works for you, we're open from 9 to 7. Let's say there is availability for about 30, 45 minutes. Are you usually more free in like the morning or is it more evening?
HOMEOWNER2:33
Uh, usually it's uh like early afternoon.
AGENT2:44
OK, because from what I'm seeing right now, at least for what we have, uh, in the area already for Friday. We do have pretty much 9 to 4 open would maybe like a 12 o'clock work for you?
HOMEOWNER2:52
Mm do we see meeting. Yeah, that would work
AGENT2:57
OK, awesome. So the only thing, right, we would need present is the power bill. Do you do that one online or by mail?
HOMEOWNER2:57
online.
AGENT3:07
OK. So what I'm gonna go ahead and do right now for you is I'm gonna send you a text message letting you know it's set for um Friday at 12. If you could do me the kind favor
HOMEOWNER2:52
Mm.
AGENT3:11
of giving me a like or thumbs up on the mess that way you know you received it. That'll be great.
HOMEOWNER10:03am
Mhm OK
AGENT3:17
Awesome. So you can expect that text within the next few minutes, OK? Awesome,
HOMEOWNER0:17
OK.
AGENT3:20
Chris, good speaking with you, man. Have yourself a good one.
HOMEOWNER3:21
Thank you. You have a good one
AGENT3:21
You too. Thanks.

HOMEOWNER0:14
So,
AGENT0:14
OK
HOMEOWNER4:29
and um, let me think about the program if you want to send me something in the mail, you can do it. Um,
AGENT11:37am
Sure Was
HOMEOWNER1:20
and
AGENT0:27
there
HOMEOWNER11:37am
give me, you,
AGENT1:24
anything
HOMEOWNER4:33
you can give me, huh?
AGENT4:36
was there anything that was holding you back the first time around.
···
HOMEOWNER0:14
So
AGENT11:33am
Hi, Emmanuel.
HOMEOWNER2:30
Yes
AGENT0:14
Hey, Emmanuel. My name's Josh. I'm giving you a call cause you just spoke with someone on my team right now who's regarding the
HOMEOWNER0:16
Yeah
AGENT0:16
new energy program. Yeah, awesome
HOMEOWNER0:21
She
AGENT1:20
then.
HOMEOWNER0:21
told
AGENT0:14
I
HOMEOWNER0:21
me she had told me that I know about the electric bills going up.
AGENT0:25
Correct, yeah, so right now, uh, energy companies, they are raising the rates
HOMEOWNER0:16
Yeah,
AGENT0:26
on homeowners,
HOMEOWNER0:14
I
AGENT0:27
if
HOMEOWNER0:21
know.
AGENT0:27
there's some if she talked
HOMEOWNER0:14
No,
AGENT0:29
to you about that, correct?
HOMEOWNER0:31
she didn't say nothing about that.
AGENT0:44
No? OK. Well, yeah, with Duquene Light Company as well as Pennelik, they are raising rates as high as 12%, so unfortunately, that just means everyone's bills are taking a jump. Uh, you did advise you were paying above $60 for your energy, correct?
HOMEOWNER0:25
Correct
AGENT0:48
OK. Well, that's why I was reaching out. I'm the verification manager. My job is very simple. It's just to ask you a few questions, of course, to see if you would be a good fit for this program. Uh, do you have, uh, some time right now, Emmanuel?
HOMEOWNER11:33am
Go ahead
AGENT1:03
OK. Uh, for the property, do you have any like big trees or tall buildings
HOMEOWNER0:25
Uh,
AGENT1:05
that provide shade over the roof by any chance?
HOMEOWNER1:07
behind my house,
AGENT0:16
Yeah
HOMEOWNER2:13
I do.
AGENT1:10
Behind your house you do. OK, but they
HOMEOWNER0:16
Yeah.
AGENT1:13
don't provide, do they provide shade on the roof or just on the property?
HOMEOWNER1:15
No, no, just behind the property.
AGENT1:20
Just behind the property. OK, perfect then. And then for your roof condition, any major leaks,
HOMEOWNER0:14
No.
AGENT1:24
damages, anything along those lines? Nothing like that? OK. Uh, perfect. And for the property as well, is there anyone else that owns it with you, Emmanuel, like a spouse or
HOMEOWNER0:14
No,
AGENT1:30
a family member?
HOMEOWNER0:14
my
AGENT0:14
just.
HOMEOWNER1:32
wife.
AGENT1:32
you and your wife. OK.
HOMEOWNER5:08
Mhm.
AGENT1:42
Awesome then, shouldn't be an issue. And lastly, of course, for these programs, since they are government endorsed, homeowners would just need to have a good standing credit score of at least 660 or higher. So I'm guessing you're
HOMEOWNER0:14
I
AGENT1:44
good on that end as well, correct?
HOMEOWNER1:57
Probably
AGENT1:57
Probably. OK, perfect. Awesome. And then uh uh for this program, so what it entails, we can definitely help you reduce your bill. So this program is a government endorsed solar program that just helps homeowners
HOMEOWNER2:30
Let
AGENT11:34am
get solar in.
HOMEOWNER2:01
I had a guy talk to me about solars.
AGENT11:34am
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER2:06
OK And they want to give me free solar panels.
AGENT5:08
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER2:09
They want to put the system in for free.
AGENT5:08
Mhm
HOMEOWNER2:13
I don't know that they would own it, they would assume all the liabilities. I don't have to put a nickel up and just pay them the bill.
AGENT11:35am
Mhm. Yeah
HOMEOWNER2:21
So is that what your program is
AGENT2:30
Yes, it is. It's in regards to that program. So that program is very similar. Now, let me ask you this, uh, you had someone you said stopped by. How long ago was that, if you don't mind me asking?
HOMEOWNER2:34
Um, not a month ago.
AGENT2:36
About a month ago. OK. And was there any reason
HOMEOWNER5:08
Mhm
AGENT2:38
as to why you didn't move forward with them? Like, did
HOMEOWNER11:35am
No, I didn't.
AGENT2:41
you not see enough savings or is there something there
HOMEOWNER0:14
I
AGENT0:21
that
HOMEOWNER2:44
don't know if I want to put solar panels on my roof yet.
AGENT2:58
OK. Gotcha. Did they explain to you, well, I don't know about that company, but at least with us we do have a 10 year roof penetration warranty. So anything that happens to that roof within 10 years, you're covered by it. So you don't need to come out of pocket if
HOMEOWNER0:14
I.
AGENT3:01
there's leaks, if there's damages, anything like that,
HOMEOWNER0:25
They
AGENT11:35am
if anything.
HOMEOWNER3:05
covered it the whole time. They covered it as long as their panels were on the roof.
AGENT3:07
Oh wow, that's really good.
HOMEOWNER5:08
Mhm.
AGENT3:13
Uh, and, and you should have, you know, definitely looked into it a little bit more because if they're warranting the whole roof for
HOMEOWNER0:14
Right.
AGENT3:24
25 years. That is a, a large amount to uh warranty. We also warranty 25 years, but we warranty 25 years on the system. So anything goes wrong with the system, like the panels,
HOMEOWNER0:14
No,
AGENT3:25
and inverters,
HOMEOWNER11:36am
they, they,
AGENT1:24
anything.
HOMEOWNER3:27
they were lifetime on the system.
AGENT3:29
Yeah, same for us. Lifetime
HOMEOWNER3:13
because
AGENT0:14
on
HOMEOWNER0:25
they
AGENT0:14
the
HOMEOWNER0:26
own
AGENT2:09
system.
HOMEOWNER2:09
the system.
AGENT3:34
Correct, yes, same thing with us. Before the roof itself, they said it was 25 years they gave you?
HOMEOWNER3:39
Anything under the roof was covered.
AGENT11:36am
For 25 years
HOMEOWNER2:30
Yes.
AGENT3:49
Wow, OK. That's a, a really large amount just because typically roof life spans are anywhere between, depending on the type of roof you get, right?
HOMEOWNER0:44
Well,
AGENT11:36am
15.
HOMEOWNER3:52
I put a 50-year shingle roof on there. So
AGENT1:42
Oh
HOMEOWNER0:14
I'm
AGENT1:20
perfect
HOMEOWNER3:56
way, I got more than 25 years left on my roof.
AGENT4:10
Oh, OK, then. Awesome then. Well, I mean, it definitely seems like you can benefit from the program because if they were to give you a quote, what we can do is compare apples to apples, see if we're actually better than them when it comes down to pricing. So if you have some time, if you have
HOMEOWNER0:44
Um
AGENT4:14
a spare 30 minutes tomorrow in the morning or afternoon. I do have some consultants
HOMEOWNER0:14
No,
AGENT4:17
that can stop by and talk to you a little bit more about it.
HOMEOWNER4:18
I don't have time to more
AGENT0:14
OK.
HOMEOWNER4:21
because um I gotta go to the doctor's tomorrow.
AGENT1:42
Oh,
HOMEOWNER0:14
So,
AGENT0:14
OK
HOMEOWNER4:29
and um, let me think about the program if you want to send me something in the mail, you can do it. Um,
AGENT11:37am
Sure Was
HOMEOWNER1:20
and
AGENT0:27
there
HOMEOWNER11:37am
give me, you,
AGENT1:24
anything
HOMEOWNER4:33
you can give me, huh?
AGENT4:36
was there anything that was holding you back the first time around.
HOMEOWNER0:14
I
AGENT4:37
I know you said you
HOMEOWNER0:21
told
AGENT11:37am
weren't.
HOMEOWNER4:40
you, I told you what was holding me back.
AGENT4:40
you just don't know if you want it
HOMEOWNER1:13
don't
AGENT11:37am
or not.
HOMEOWNER4:43
know if I wanna put them on my roof.
AGENT4:45
OK, no problem. So it's just putting
HOMEOWNER3:13
Because
AGENT11:37am
them on the roof.
HOMEOWNER4:47
know if I'm gonna look at them.
AGENT4:49
Uh, that makes sense. What
HOMEOWNER0:25
They
AGENT4:50
happens if they were on
HOMEOWNER4:54
wanted to
AGENT5:28
backside
HOMEOWNER4:54
put 31
AGENT5:21
of the
HOMEOWNER4:54
panels. I had one guy wanted to put 31 panels on my roof.
AGENT4:56
Oh, you must have a pretty high bill then.
HOMEOWNER1:57
Huh
AGENT5:03
I said, you must have a pretty high energy bill then. They're quoting you at 31 panels,
HOMEOWNER0:16
Yeah,
AGENT5:04
that's a large amount.
HOMEOWNER5:07
my house is a ranch and it's long.
AGENT5:08
Mhm. Mm, OK, that makes a
HOMEOWNER0:14
So
AGENT11:38am
lot of
HOMEOWNER0:14
I
AGENT4:49
sense.
HOMEOWNER5:10
have room for 31 panels.
AGENT5:21
OK, awesome then. Well, I mean, if the roof is warrantied and everything that's on it underneath it as well, uh, the only thing that I was holding you back was just the look of them, like looking at
HOMEOWNER0:25
Correct.
AGENT5:28
them every single day. Yeah, OK. Uh, what happens if we were to place them on like the backside of the roof where they're not visible from.
HOMEOWNER0:14
No,
AGENT11:38am
Will that
HOMEOWNER0:14
you,
AGENT11:38am
matter?
HOMEOWNER5:34
I don't think, I don't think the side where the trees are. So
AGENT4:10
Oh, OK,
HOMEOWNER0:16
we
AGENT2:58
got
HOMEOWNER1:57
probably
AGENT0:14
you.
HOMEOWNER5:38
wouldn't
AGENT11:38am
So they would
HOMEOWNER3:49
get
AGENT1:42
need
HOMEOWNER0:44
as
AGENT0:21
to
HOMEOWNER11:38am
much
AGENT11:38am
go through.
HOMEOWNER5:38
effi it wouldn't wouldn't be efficient back here.
AGENT5:43
Gotcha. That makes sense. OK. So I mean if it's just a, a look thing.
HOMEOWNER5:45
And my house is facing east to west, not north to south.
AGENT5:49
Mm, OK, gotcha. Yeah, that makes a difference as well too. OK. Well, OK, well, what, uh I can do is actually check in with the, uh, did, did you have like a timeline when you felt like you'll be making that decision?
HOMEOWNER11:38am
No, I've
AGENT0:14
No?
HOMEOWNER6:02
been, I was in the hospital and stuff, so
AGENT2:58
Gotcha
HOMEOWNER6:05
I don't know, you could check back with me in a month or so and see.
AGENT6:10
Sure, no problem. Yeah, especially if you're in and out of the hospital, I definitely don't wanna be bothering you, you know, if you're going through something.
HOMEOWNER0:16
Yeah
AGENT6:13
I can definitely reach out in a couple of weeks' time then just to see where you're at, OK?
HOMEOWNER0:14
OK.
AGENT0:16
Awesome
HOMEOWNER6:16
Give me about a month.
AGENT6:17
Sounds good, Emmanuel
HOMEOWNER11:39am
All right.
AGENT5:08
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER6:20
Talk to you later. Bye.
AGENT11:39am
Bye-bye

HOMEOWNER0:22
Good. How are you
AGENT0:35
Good, good, man. Thank you so much for asking. Uh, I know the, the last time we had spoken was uh back in March, uh, it was just about the, the newer program, but I, I know you wanted to look more into installing it yourself? Were you able to get that installed?
HOMEOWNER0:40
Yeah, so you remind me, uh, what information you need from me?
AGENT0:46
Mhm. Yeah, so the reason we're calling is because there are new government endorsed solar programs that we're just hoping
HOMEOWNER0:20
Yeah.
AGENT0:52
homeowners cut down on their high power bill without needing to come out of pocket anymore to get the solar installed, right? But
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes.
AGENT0:57
it's just depending on if you guys can qualify. Does that make sense, Michael
HOMEOWNER1:01
Yes. Absolutely. What, what, uh, what information you need from me?
···
HOMEOWNER02:49pm
Hello
AGENT02:49pm
Hey Michael
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes
AGENT0:15
Hey, how's it going, Michael? It's Brian. Uh, I'm not sure if you remember me. We spoke, uh, last week about the solar program and helping you cut down on the power bill. Does that kind of ring a bell?
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes yes, getting the biopsy.
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh, yeah, how are you?
AGENT1:03
I'm sorry, what was that
HOMEOWNER1:05
What info do you need from me?
AGENT2:06
Oh
HOMEOWNER7:15
Like you
AGENT0:20
yeah,
HOMEOWNER1:07
ask me something.
AGENT02:50pm
yeah Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER0:20
Uh-huh.
AGENT1:18
Yeah, so I, I was just asking because I know the last time we had spoken, you mentioned that you were looking more to installing the panels on your own and you wanted me to reach back out in a couple months to see if you were able to do it or not.
HOMEOWNER1:25
Yeah, no, I think like from point of, uh, you can tell me if I qualify for the program or not, right?
AGENT1:26
Uh-huh. Yeah, correct.
HOMEOWNER1:34
Yeah Yeah, and basically like I would say if you can just give me, send me a little bit, I don't know, maybe you said, but I, I'm very busy. But
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER1:40
if you can send me information basically this is like I would say 3000 square foot house, right?
AGENT0:20
uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER1:45
So what's, what's, what's the options, you know, how many panels I need and so on.
AGENT2:06
Oh, that's a great question. So, as far as like how many panels you would need and like how much you would be saving. I, I wouldn't be able to give you an exact number just because it's all it's always different for each and every home, right, because of their usage, their squa like the how big the house is, but that's just something that our consultant takes a look at during the consultation. That way he goes in and breaks that all down for you. Does that make sense
HOMEOWNER2:10
Yeah, it's a problem with the type, so if I can,
AGENT0:46
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER2:16
if you, if you can, don't spend a lot of time, but give me a little bit of preliminary information like,
AGENT0:20
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER2:24
like 3000 houses in California, you know, uh, like what's, what's, what's the option? how much I can save?
AGENT2:06
Oh
HOMEOWNER1:45
What's
AGENT0:20
yeah
HOMEOWNER2:36
the program does me? If you can give me just so I can sit like late in the evening, you know, drink tea and look at the stuff, not talking to anybody and don't spend a lot of time as preliminary staff will be nice.
AGENT2:46
Got you. Yeah, I can definitely go ahead and send you just some like general information on how like the programs work. Uh, based on like the savings wise, I know you mentioned the last time you guys are paying above $200 is that right?
HOMEOWNER2:49
One more time, ask
AGENT0:15
Uh, I
HOMEOWNER02:52pm
me a question
AGENT1:18
know the last
HOMEOWNER02:52pm
again,
AGENT0:35
time,
HOMEOWNER1:03
sorry.
AGENT2:54
yeah, no, no worries. I know the last time we spoke you mentioned you were paying above $200 on the power, right?
HOMEOWNER3:01
Yes, and I can, I can get exactly, uh, I can get the exact number like tell you
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER0:18
yes.
AGENT3:22
OK. So uh above 200 just because with homeowners that we're paying above that 100, we've been able to help them see savings as high as 40% on their current bill, right? But that's just why it's important for the consultant to stop by because what he does is he looks at that bill that you receive and on there has a bar graph, that's what he uses to, you know, calculate how much you could be saving.
HOMEOWNER3:30
I see.
AGENT0:46
Mhm
HOMEOWNER3:30
I see. OK. And uh basically installation of the panel, you install them on the roof?
AGENT1:26
Correct
HOMEOWNER3:38
I see. And what's the life expectancy right now of the roof of the panels.
AGENT3:46
So as far as the panels, I believe it's 25 years, right? But that's something that consultant would definitely go more in detail for you because he knows more of the information on that side.
HOMEOWNER3:53
Yeah. What about the quality of the roof? I mean, are you, how do you install it, you drill holes in the roof.
AGENT2:06
Oh
HOMEOWNER3:55
What's the, what's the procedure?
AGENT4:21
yeah, great question. So as far as the roof, right, so what we use is we use a racketing system that's placed on your roof, right? So we use a ceiling called geocell to prevent any further drilling on the roof, right? So in case anything were to happen as far as damages, it does come with a warranty, right? But that's why the consultants, it's very important for him to stop, to stop by. What he does is he actually breaks that more in detail for you to show you exactly how that all works.
HOMEOWNER4:29
Yeah, yeah, it's like, yeah, you know, yeah. All right, well, tell you what, send me information. You
AGENT0:46
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER4:31
have my email address?
AGENT4:34
What was that, Michael? Sorry, it's cutting out a bit.
HOMEOWNER4:31
You, sorry, you, you have my email address?
AGENT02:54pm
Uh, no, I don't
HOMEOWNER4:42
OK. Uh, motors, M O motors, Mike.
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER02:54pm
at yahoo.com
AGENT4:57
Got it. OK. Perfect. Sounds good then Michael. I'll definitely go ahead and send you that right now, you know, and then, uh, I'll just give you a call back with this time on Friday would be a good time to give you a call back?
HOMEOWNER5:00
Friday is good, absolutely.
AGENT5:19
Friday's good. OK. I, I'll just give you a call back on Friday because in the end we really would need to see if you are actually a good fit for these newer programs because as good as it all sounds, not all homeowners are, so that was just my job was just to verify those few details to see if you could be a good fit. And then that's when we just find that better time and date to actually go over all the details with you.
HOMEOWNER5:24
Yeah, enough, uh, input an email, put the questions which you asked me like, what,
AGENT0:46
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER5:29
why, why some owners qualify another one not. What's what it depends on.
AGENT5:41
So it's mainly depending on the property, right? Because uh some homes they do have too many trees on the property. So if it has too many trees that are created shading over the roof, the, the home might not be able to qualify as well as the roof
HOMEOWNER1:34
I don't
AGENT0:15
of
HOMEOWNER4:31
have
AGENT0:15
the
HOMEOWNER5:44
it I, I don't have it.
AGENT0:15
you
HOMEOWNER5:44
I don't have,
AGENT0:15
you.
HOMEOWNER5:48
I, I have palm trees, but I don't have clothes, uh,
AGENT0:15
OK
HOMEOWNER5:50
piece to the. Yes.
AGENT5:52
So it's pretty open you'd say on the roof?
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes
AGENT6:01
OK, awesome. Another one would just be like the homeowner, right? You would just need to be the homeowner on the title and you were the one on uh Calle Miramer, correct?
HOMEOWNER6:04
Say it one more time, sorry
AGENT6:11
Uh, you would just need to be the homeowner on Tidal, and you were the homeowner here on the 33466. Kaye Mir
HOMEOWNER1:26
Correct.
AGENT02:55pm
Mirammaro?
HOMEOWNER02:55pm
correct Yes
AGENT6:18
OK, awesome. And was there anyone else on the title there with you, like maybe a spouse or family member?
HOMEOWNER6:18
spouse
AGENT6:32
Your spouse was on there with you, OK. Awesome. I know you mentioned the roof, it was getting a good amount of sunlight. Another one would just be the condition of the roof. It would just need to be a good condition. Do you know if there's any like holes on that or maybe any leaks on it?
HOMEOWNER6:36
Yeah, no, I mean, it's not new house but uh
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh
HOMEOWNER6:42
roof. I mean it's, I can't, I can't tell you what roof condition is. I know it looks great. It does have leaks.
AGENT6:45
Oh, you've received a couple of leaks you mentioned?
HOMEOWNER6:47
No, I don't have no leaks and it
AGENT2:06
Oh
HOMEOWNER3:22
looks
AGENT0:15
no
HOMEOWNER2:06
great.
AGENT6:49
Oh, OK, gotcha. OK,
HOMEOWNER2:06
Exac
AGENT6:51
so there's no leaks.
HOMEOWNER6:54
exac exac. No leaks, no leaks. It looks great.
AGENT0:15
OK.
HOMEOWNER6:57
What condition of the roof exactly? I cannot tell you. It
AGENT02:56pm
That, that,
HOMEOWNER6:58
should be good.
AGENT7:15
not a problem. That's not a problem. As long as there's like no damages that you're aware of and it looks pretty fine and that shouldn't be an issue at all, but that's something they could definitely take a look at. And then the main qualification for the the newer programs, it is to have a good standing credit score above 670? Do you feel like you can meet that?
HOMEOWNER02:57pm
No question
AGENT4:34
What was that, Michael
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes Yes,
AGENT0:15
You,
HOMEOWNER02:57pm
I say yes
AGENT7:26
oh, OK, gotcha. And I know it's a silly question, but there's no existing solar on the property there, right?
HOMEOWNER02:57pm
No, say again?
AGENT0:46
There,
HOMEOWNER0:15
No.
AGENT7:26
there's no existing solar on the property?
HOMEOWNER1:26
Correct.
AGENT7:58
No, OK, awesome. Well, uh, based on what you did tell me, Michael, it definitely does seem like you guys could be a good fit. The next step was really just finding that better time and date to have the consultant sit down with you guys, what he just does, he sits down with you and your wife, breaks down the program, answer any questions you have. And then most importantly, see if you guys can get approved. Right when it came down to you and your wife's availability, were you guys more available like in the mornings or maybe afternoons?
HOMEOWNER8:02
And when you said when you said approved, uh,
AGENT0:20
Uh-huh.
HOMEOWNER8:04
who's gonna approve it? It's government.
AGENT8:16
Yes, correct. So what the consultant does is he goes more in detail for you, right? Because based on what you're telling me, you, it does seem like you could be a good fit, but the consultant does need to take a look at the property as well, just to make sure everything is good.
HOMEOWNER02:58pm
Understand.
AGENT0:46
Mhm
HOMEOWNER8:22
OK, sounds good, yeah, send me all the info and call me Friday.
AGENT8:25
Yeah, sounds good then, Michael. Would this time be a good time as well?
HOMEOWNER0:18
Yes.
AGENT8:30
Perfect. Emma, I'll give you a call back on Friday that we could just find a better time and date.
HOMEOWNER8:33
Sounds good thank you
AGENT8:34
Of course, Michael, thank you
HOMEOWNER02:58pm
Yeah, bye.

AGENT6:10
The um the uh when we were talking about the, the, the new finance option, which is like the ownership option, um, we did mention, and I just want to make sure that we talked about it. We did mention how the new um finance works in regards of how the companies apply that tax credit for you because unfortunately you as a homeowner cannot take advantage of the tax credit directly, right? Or did I not mention that for you?
HOMEOWNER6:18
You know, I, I, I think you did mention that, um, but then I, I have to look into it again cause it, just because, you know, I'm not doubting what you said, but I've been
AGENT0:08
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER6:27
hearing mixed messages. Uh, I, I guess there's like some other, like, there are tax credits that have expired, um, but
AGENT10:09am
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER6:39
then there are, there are also, um, from what one of my buddies was telling me that at solar, um, telling me that there, there are new tax credits that are available to, um, you know, owners of solar panel.
AGENT6:48
Yeah, so the tax credits, and again, you can even go online and, and, and search it, like, you know, yourself. The, the
HOMEOWNER10:09am
Mhm.
AGENT7:07
tax credit for homeowners, like the 30% tax credit you as a homeowner cannot take advantage of it anymore, right? So just because uh unfortunately, when 2026 started, they discontinued it. They said no more, you as a homeowner or any homeowner can, can
···
HOMEOWNER14:41
All right
AGENT0:10
Hey, Brian
HOMEOWNER0:08
Yeah, this is you
AGENT0:10
Hey, Brian, good morning. It's Bichoy here. How are you?
HOMEOWNER0:13
Hey, the show, I'm good. How are you
AGENT0:17
I'm doing great, man. I'm doing great. How's, how's it going with your, uh, 2 year old?
HOMEOWNER0:28
Uh, it's been up and down. Um, his, his, uh, fever has been going away and then coming back, uh, problem is that he doesn't want to take his medicine, so it's
AGENT2:29
OK.
HOMEOWNER0:29
been a challenge.
AGENT0:38
So you, you know, it's kinda like the, the, the, the flu or is it something more serious than that?
HOMEOWNER0:52
No, I, I, I don't think so. Um, he came out negative for flu and COVID. Uh, the doctor said that it is a common cold. Um. you know, I, I guess one of the concerning things is like, like throwing up at night when
AGENT0:08
Yeah
HOMEOWNER1:07
he's uh sleeping and stuff like that. So it's a little bit concerning, but outside of that, I mean, the, the fever comes and goes when, when it's gone, he, he's back to normal. It's like playful and and fun, but yeah, it's just kind of sad to see when he's like struggling.
AGENT1:28
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I think there is something that's going around. I've, obviously not, not to like compare or anything up for like the past two weeks I've been um uh almost like a week and a half. I've been kind of like fighting um a flu with a with a fever. I had a viral infection. I had a stomach bug.
HOMEOWNER10:04am
Oh wow
AGENT1:37
I, it was like, I was all over the place. Yes, they, I had to start a new course of um antibiotics as well. So it's
HOMEOWNER1:57
Oh
AGENT0:28
been,
HOMEOWNER10:04am
jeez
AGENT1:51
I, I think there is something that's, that's going around. I hope that they didn't, uh, catch, you know, any type of, uh, you know, like a stomach bug or anything.
HOMEOWNER1:57
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, I'm, I think so too, but uh I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with all that.
AGENT1:28
Yeah, yeah,
HOMEOWNER1:59
That sounds terrible.
AGENT2:10
I'm just trying, just trying. Um, is, is now a good time for us to talk about your project? Would you like me to call you at a different time?
HOMEOWNER2:14
Um, no, I, I have a few minutes if, if it's not too long.
AGENT2:29
OK, OK. I obviously saw your, you know, it, it's a conversation that I wanted to have with you. Obviously, you did tell me um that you are looking into mainly the ownership option, correct?
HOMEOWNER2:34
Yeah, I was thinking about it a little bit more. I think that might be a better way to go.
AGENT2:48
OK, OK. And um you know, remind me, I'm also looking at the message as well you're looking for a um a whole home backup battery because you're looking into the long-term investment for the property itself.
HOMEOWNER10:05am
Yeah, exactly
AGENT3:10
OK. OK. So basically, um, you know, if you recall that when we when we were talking during the consultation, um, mainly the ownership option you're looking at the long-term investment. You're not seeing a lot of savings obviously from day one. But later
HOMEOWNER0:52
Mm
AGENT3:22
down the line because as you you know, as you saw and as you mentioned in the text message and when we were talking over in the consultation, it's fixed for the whole term. Um,
HOMEOWNER10:06am
Mhm
AGENT3:29
uh, unlike obviously the power purchase agreement and how it goes up every year by a 3.5%.
HOMEOWNER13:07
Right, right
AGENT3:43
OK. So, um, let me work on the they, they didn't do, no one came to the property for inspection or anything, correct?
HOMEOWNER3:52
No, actually, um, I think it was early, was it early? When, when did we last speak? Oh, I'm sorry, my, my days are all jumbled up.
AGENT0:38
No
HOMEOWNER3:53
Was it last week that we spoke?
AGENT10:06am
We, yeah, yeah
HOMEOWNER4:08
OK, I think they might have came either the end of last week or early, like the beginning of this week. Oh no, no, it definitely wasn't um this week. Yeah, yeah, and it was sometime last week that they, uh someone ended up coming. Uh,
AGENT10:06am
Mhm
HOMEOWNER4:14
they didn't get on the roof. They just take a look and they, they, they're like, yeah, we could definitely fit 10 + uh panels on, on this roof.
AGENT4:18
OK. But no one like got on top of the roof or anything.
HOMEOWNER0:38
No
AGENT4:28
OK. OK. Let me work on the, uh, obviously, as I told you, like I'm a we're, I'm a solar broker, so
HOMEOWNER10:07am
Mhm
AGENT4:38
talk with me, tell me, tell me what you're thinking of. I'll do obviously my part. Uh, let me work on a finance option. Obviously, it's not gonna be with um with Good Leap. Um, let me work on that for you. And can I would uh call later on today, um, around 5 o'clock. Would that work with you?
HOMEOWNER4:58
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And, and also the show, if you can send me the contract ahead of time, um,
AGENT0:52
Mm
HOMEOWNER5:08
that'd be great. I think, you know, what happened the last time was that like, I, I actually was kind of surprised that we were, you know, going through all the contracts at the at the same time, um,
AGENT10:07am
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER5:13
only because, you know, I, uh, you know, those contracts are long, so I mean you really get a chance to review it. But
AGENT1:28
Yeah, yeah.
HOMEOWNER5:20
once I reviewed it later on, that's when I realized, like, oh, maybe this isn't the right wrong, um. uh or right option for me. So,
AGENT10:08am
Mhm.
HOMEOWNER5:27
you know, just to save yourself time as well as myself, um, if you can send that ahead of time, I can take a look at it and then let you know, uh,
AGENT1:28
Yeah, yeah
HOMEOWNER5:30
we have any questions before moving forward
AGENT5:40
OK. Um, the, uh, I'm just letting you know cause I, I, uh, just to refresh, it's sending you a blank contract, not a problem at all. Um, I, I will go ahead and I'll do that.
HOMEOWNER10:08am
Mhm
They said no more, you as a homeowner or any homeowner can, can
HOMEOWNER10:09am
Mhm
AGENT7:31
no longer take advantage of that tax credit So solar companies and financers, they became uh more think of it and like uh the, they became more smart, yeah, they just thought of different ways for homeowners to still look at the ownership option and it still makes sense to them. Uh, so
HOMEOWNER10:10am
Mhm.
AGENT7:44
what they did is because the, they, you know, when they discontinued the tax credit for homeowners. They did not do that for solar companies. So solar companies are still able to take advantage of the tax credits. Um, so what they do is they do a prepaid PPA or a prepaid power purchase agreement. So what happens is for the 1st 5 years, the, the system is owned by um, a company. that's under a power purchase agreement, they take advantage of that tax credit, and they apply it to you towards the system. And then at year 5, you basically get the system at a discounted rate, um, because the company applied that tax credit for you. Uh, it's a, it's a 0% obviously from day one, so it doesn't go up that 3.5% every year.
HOMEOWNER10:11am
Mhm
AGENT9:09
Um, and you as a homeowner, you're taking advantage of that tax credit and an indirect way, because if you, you know, Brian, as Brian, like you go and you apply for the tax credit, um, you, you, there, you're, you're unfortunately unable to take advantage of it, but if the company, the solar company itself, they apply for that tax credit for them, they are able to take advantage of that. So they take that tax credit, they apply it to the system towards the total cost of the system. So the total cost of the system drops. and then basically you as a homeowner are able to finance or take ownership on that system at discounted rate.
HOMEOWNER9:14
OK. And, and that, is that just for the uh power purchase agreement?
AGENT9:19
Uh, that's, that's for the finance option. That's the finance, that's the new finance.
HOMEOWNER9:19
Finance option, OK.
AGENT1:28
Yeah, yeah.
HOMEOWNER10:12am
Gotcha,
AGENT0:28
So
HOMEOWNER10:12am
gotcha.
AGENT0:13
the,
HOMEOWNER2:29
OK.
AGENT10:01
yeah, so the system, you know, the system will be yours. You take ownership on the system. Um, but, you know, say like in 2025, we didn't need to go through all of that. You can just tell me, hey, yes, I want ownership. This is the total cost of the system. The system is yours, you as a homeowner can just apply for that, the 30% tax credit at the end of the year and it's, uh, you know, very straightforward, but when they remove that tax credit from homeowners, and homeowners can no longer take advantage of that. The finance option didn't really make a lot of sense anymore to a lot of homeowner ner s So,
HOMEOWNER10:12am
Mhm.
AGENT11:05
solar companies and finances, they just, they said, well, we have to figure out a way for, you know, the ownership option to still make sense the homeowners. So they created that. prepaid power purchase agreement, which is for the 1st 5 years, it's still a 25 year agreement, but for the 1st 5 years, um, it's under a power purchase agreement and the company has ownership on the system. So they are able to basically apply for that tax, the tax credit and they take advantage of that tax credit, and they apply it for the homeowner on on their behalf, they apply it to the total cost of the system. So let's say the system is like originally it's $50,000. The homeowner, um, they basically buy it because the company takes advantage of that tax credit and they apply it to the homeowner, and instead of paying $50,000 for the total cost of the system, for example, they financed the system at, let's say $32,000 because the,
HOMEOWNER10:13am
Mhm.
AGENT11:33
the company applied that tax credit for them. Um, so that's why I like, right now, even though um we did do a power purchase agreement. If you're looking at the long-term investment itself and taking ownership on the system and obviously the monthly cost of your electricity, which is, you know, your monthly bill. Never increases, so it's like fixed every single year, then obviously
HOMEOWNER10:14am
Mhm.
AGENT11:40
the, the ownership or the finance option makes uh more sense uh for you especially with that new uh finance option that's, you know, around that new finance the one option that I'm talking to you about, it basically came out about a month and a half or 2 months ago. Um, the prior to that, like if let's say in January, February of this year, literally that fight, the ownership option of the finance option didn't make any sense to homeowners. Um,
HOMEOWNER10:14am
Uh, I gotcha
AGENT12:24
yeah, so, um, let me work, again, I, I, I know you had a little bit of time to talk and I, I think maybe like I overwhelmed you with a lot of information right now. Let me work on, you know, the ownership option for you. And let's jump on a
HOMEOWNER10:15am
Mhm.
AGENT12:35
call, I'll give you a call today at 5:00 p.m. We can go over it together. um, and then I'll, when, when I have actual numbers, we can go over it and then I can show you the difference, and I can show you, hey, here is what we can do here. Here's what we can do there. And also keep in mind that um everything will still be up in, in the air because once we submit everything to the to the HOA and then they say, well, we, this needs to be removed. No you're touching the, the neighbors roof, and then obviously things could be adjusted.
HOMEOWNER13:07
Right, right. OK, that makes sense. Um, couple of things. Can you do 5:30. I, I actually have a few meetings that, um, or a couple of short meetings at 5.
AGENT0:08
Yeah
HOMEOWNER13:10
uh, 4:45 and 5, so I won't, I'm busy at that time. Uh, at 5:30 work for you?
AGENT13:14
Yeah, let's do 5:30. Um,
HOMEOWNER0:17
Uh
AGENT10:16am
I, I'll
HOMEOWNER2:29
OK
AGENT13:20
give you a call at 5:30, um, and then we can obviously go over everything together.
HOMEOWNER13:28
OK. Sounds good. And, and yeah, you know, the information that you did provide it, it's, um, no, I appreciate you sharing that with me, but, uh, it, it was a lot.
AGENT0:08
Yeah
HOMEOWNER13:33
So do you mind uh emailing me that information as well so I can review it again.
AGENT13:45
Yeah, yeah. I'll send you, um, I'll send you like a blank um agreement, or if I can't find that blank agreement, I'll send you an agreement from another homeowner. Uh, obviously, I'll just
HOMEOWNER10:16am
Mhm.
AGENT13:48
like cross out their information. Uh, so you
HOMEOWNER13:07
Right, right
AGENT14:05
can take a look at what potentially the actual agreement will look like, um, and then we could um and then obviously when I give you a call, do you feel like you're gonna have some time to like go over By 5:30
HOMEOWNER14:11
Yeah, yeah, I should have um probably half an hour to go over it at that time.
AGENT14:19
OK. I'll, I'll go ahead. I'll send you uh the agreement, um. right after we finish, and then I'll
HOMEOWNER10:17am
Mhm.
AGENT14:27
work on that option for you, and I'll give you a call at 5:30 and then I'll be obviously more than happy to answer your questions and we can go over everything together here.
HOMEOWNER13:28
OK. Sounds good.
AGENT14:31
Sounds good, buddy I'm glad,
HOMEOWNER14:41
All right.
AGENT10:17am
I'm glad you

HOMEOWNER0:09
you
AGENT4:27
what I'm gonna do, I'm
HOMEOWNER4:28
calling from? Who, who is this?
AGENT4:32
yeah, my name is Josh. I'm the verification manager here at Local Energy Partners.
HOMEOWNER4:32
local energy partners
AGENT11:42am
Mhm, correct.
HOMEOWNER0:09
or
AGENT4:36
All right, perfect.
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK
AGENT4:43
So I could definitely set you up then for Saturday at 11. Now, it's for your utility bill, do you get it online or in the mail, Chad?
HOMEOWNER4:45
uh, both, I believe
AGENT5:02
Both? OK, cause what I'm gonna do right now, I'm just gonna send you a text message. It's just to of course confirm for Saturday at 11. So what you can do whenever you have some free time is actually just send me a screenshot of your latest utility bill that would actually save you some time during the consultation because that's how they're gonna draft up the savings report for you, OK?
···
AGENT0:09
Your order every prequalified and uh I have which is in hoping her time. Hi, hello, is
HOMEOWNER0:49
Well,
AGENT0:49
this Chad?
HOMEOWNER1:00
yeah.
AGENT0:18
Hey, Chad, this is Josh. I was giving you a call here. I believe you spoke to someone on my team yesterday regarding the new energy program. How are you
HOMEOWNER0:09
Uh,
AGENT11:38am
doing today?
HOMEOWNER11:38am
not too bad.
AGENT0:28
Awesome, Chad. Awesome. I was just giving you a call seeing if you got that notice in the mail. It was just regarding the recent rate increases. Did you happen to see that by any
HOMEOWNER0:09
I
AGENT1:58
chance?
HOMEOWNER11:38am
Uh, no, not yet.
AGENT0:49
No? OK. Well, just to fill you in on what's going on, um, major energy companies, what they're doing is they're raising rates on homeowners by 15% this year. So what that just pretty much means, just means your energy bill will be going up, but let me ask you this, Chad. Uh, how much are you currently paying for your latest energy bill?
HOMEOWNER0:53
Um around 100 bucks
AGENT0:53
Around $100?
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah.
AGENT0:58
OK. Gotcha. And does it tend to go up more during the summer months or during the winter?
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah, the summer
AGENT1:05
Summer. And then if you had a ballpark on how much you, you would pay during the summer? What would that look like for you?
HOMEOWNER11:39am
Uh, 2 to 2 to 300
AGENT1:10
Wow, OK. So it takes a pretty big jump then, correct?
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah.
AGENT1:26
Gotcha. OK. Well, I know what these rate increases, Chad, your bill's definitely gonna go up from here on out, and that's why we're calling because there are brand new government endorsed solar programs and they're very simple now, they're just helping homeowners. transfer away from
HOMEOWNER0:09
I
AGENT1:33
their energy company into a much cheaper, more sustainable solar bill. Um, just all that makes sense so far?
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah
AGENT1:49
Yeah, OK, Chad. Well, uh, my job, it's really, really simple. It's actually just to go ahead and see if you are a good fit for these programs and then of course if you are we just select a better time and date to our consul can go out and go over all the details with you, OK?
HOMEOWNER2:11
All right
AGENT1:58
OK. Uh, for your property here, do you have any big trees or tall buildings that provide any shade over your roof by any chance?
HOMEOWNER2:04
Um, no, not too much
AGENT2:11
Not too much? OK. Gotcha. All right. And then for the type of roof that you do have, is it shingles? Is it tile, is it concrete?
HOMEOWNER11:40am
Uh shingles
AGENT2:18
Shingles. OK. Perfect. And is there any current leaks or damage on the roof right now or no?
HOMEOWNER0:28
No
AGENT2:29
None. OK. Awesome. And then, of course, for the property here in, in 29 Palms, is there anyone else that's on Title with you like a spouse or a family member, or is it just yourself?
HOMEOWNER2:30
Uh, just myself
AGENT2:43
Just yourself. OK, perfect. Uh, and then, of course, Chad, for these programs, since they are government endorsed, you would just need to have a good standing credit score of at least 670 or higher. So I'm guessing you're good on that end as well, correct?
HOMEOWNER11:40am
Yeah, I'm good
AGENT2:50
OK, awesome then, Chad. And then silly question, but is there any existing solar system on the property or no, you're good there too? You're good? OK.
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah
AGENT3:18
Awesome then, Chad. Well, uh, from what you answered, it definitely seems like you could be a good fit, but like I mentioned, next step is just really, really simple. It's just about selecting that better time and date to where the consultant can actually go out to you, break down the program, answer any questions or concerns you may have. And then ultimately see, right, if you are a good fit for it. Um, when it comes down for your availability, just typically like morning times or afternoon times work better for you?
HOMEOWNER3:22
Uh, afternoons better for me after 5.
AGENT3:22
After 5?
HOMEOWNER0:09
Uh
AGENT3:31
OK. Gotcha. So I know for tomorrow, we are pretty booked up. in the afternoon. Uh, what about
HOMEOWNER0:09
Uh,
AGENT3:34
weekend time frames? Does weekend time frames typically work better for
HOMEOWNER0:49
what
AGENT0:09
you
HOMEOWNER3:18
about?
AGENT3:42
too, or no? Hello Chad Hi Chad, can you hear me?
HOMEOWNER11:41am
uh yes
AGENT3:56
Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, I was just asking if potentially like a, a weekend time frame like in the morning works for you? Does that typically work out or is it only during the
HOMEOWNER0:49
Um
AGENT11:41am
weekdays?
HOMEOWNER3:59
yeah, if it's after 10
AGENT3:59
After 10.
HOMEOWNER2:18
on the
AGENT0:18
OK.
HOMEOWNER3:34
weekend
AGENT0:49
Let me
HOMEOWNER1:00
Yeah.
AGENT4:07
see here if I have something then for Saturday. Uh and you said after 10, correct?
HOMEOWNER1:00
yeah
AGENT4:13
OK. Well, it looks like here, I do have, it looks like an 11
HOMEOWNER11:42am
What, what
AGENT11:42am

HOMEOWNER4:14
company are you from?
AGENT4:15
Yeah, so I'm with
HOMEOWNER0:09
I'm,
AGENT4:32
Local Energy
HOMEOWNER11:42am
I'm on my
AGENT4:32

HOMEOWNER4:18
lunch breaker now I'm kind of in a rush.
AGENT4:22
Yeah, uh, so I can definitely do Saturday at 11. Would that be a good time for you?
HOMEOWNER4:25
Yeah, let's try that
AGENT2:18
OK, perfect.
HOMEOWNER11:42am
Where are
AGENT0:18
So
HOMEOWNER0:09
you
AGENT4:27
what I'm gonna do, I'm
HOMEOWNER4:28
calling from? Who, who is this?
AGENT4:32
yeah, my name is Josh. I'm the verification manager here at Local Energy Partners.
HOMEOWNER4:32
local energy partners
AGENT11:42am
Mhm, correct.
HOMEOWNER0:09
or
AGENT4:36
All right, perfect.
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK
AGENT4:43
So I could definitely set you up then for Saturday at 11. Now, it's for your utility bill, do you get it online or in the mail, Chad?
HOMEOWNER4:45
uh, both, I believe
AGENT5:02
Both? OK, cause what I'm gonna do right now, I'm just gonna send you a text message. It's just to of course confirm for Saturday at 11. HOMEOWNER2:11
All right
AGENT5:17
Awesome then, Chad, perfect. So I got you down for Saturday at 11. Now we do work as a first come, first serve, so what that means is since you're taking that time at 11, another homeowner won't be able to. So I really just wanna make sure that that time frame works out for you on Saturday, correct?
HOMEOWNER0:18
OK
AGENT5:25
Awesome perfect then Chad. so I'm gonna send you that text message in the meantime, just give me a like or a thumbs up just to let us know that you received it, OK?
HOMEOWNER5:26
All right, thanks.
AGENT5:29
Awesome, no problem, Chad. You enjoy the rest of your day.

HOMEOWNER0:14
Mm.
AGENT3:27
that's the way that these newer programs work, of course, is as long as you can get approved for it.
HOMEOWNER3:37
Right, right, right Mm. It sounds interesting, um, basically, um, just let me think about it a little bit
AGENT0:19
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER3:49
before I go forward. Um, but, um, but yeah, you know, give me about uh, you know, uh, you know, a couple, a couple of weeks and stuff like
AGENT2:52
Sure.
HOMEOWNER3:51
that, think about it. Yeah.
AGENT4:30
Yeah, absolutely. And, and just so you're aware, the reason we're calling is because what we do essentially what we do is we have what's called a, a, a consultation basically on a different day that you have about 30, 45 minutes. We have an energy consultant that breaks down to you all of this information. To answer any questions you have or any concerns, and you guys would just see a free savings report to see if you guys can get approved and, and, and break you, break you guys down how it works and any, any uh other questions you have in regards to selling as well. So that ' s ultimately why we were reaching out. I mean, I don't know if maybe, yeah, I know right now you, you kinda just wanna think about it. That's what ultimately the purpose of the consultation is to help
HOMEOWNER0:19
Yeah
AGENT4:32
you get a better understanding of how it works.
HOMEOWNER0:19
Yeah
AGENT4:41
Um, we're, we're in the area this week. Um, I, I don't know if maybe you have some availability for about 30-45 minutes maybe on a different day, maybe sometime in like the afternoon.
HOMEOWNER4:45
Yeah, it'd be about a couple of weeks and stuff like that, yeah,
···
HOMEOWNER01:15pm
Now look
AGENT01:15pm
Hey, Billy.
HOMEOWNER5:16
Yes
AGENT0:14
How's it going, Billy? Uh, my name is Adam. I believe you just got off the phone with a team member of mine in regards to the new energy program. How's your day going?
HOMEOWNER0:19
All right, yeah, that was a recording or something, yeah, something, I don't know, yeah.
AGENT0:25
No, yeah, they had just asked you, I believe, if you're paying over like 100 or 120 on the power bill. Does that kind of ring a bell?
HOMEOWNER0:29
Oh yeah, we just paid $160 just 5 minutes ago.
AGENT0:37
OK, so 160 on the power bill. Now, how about in the summertime? Do you ever notice it go up higher than that or anything around there?
HOMEOWNER0:46
Um, I just figured that the rates and everything went up, so yeah, we paid, you know, pretty much a couple 100. I'm pretty
AGENT0:29
Oh
HOMEOWNER2:52
sure.
AGENT1:10
OK. Yeah, no worries. I mean, that, that's actually why we're reaching out, uh, essentially with these rate increases going on, what it is we're doing is we're helping homeowners potentially qualify for these newer government endorsed solar programs that are just now made for you just to eliminate the high bill you're currently paying and just swap it out for a cheaper monthly solar bill as long as you can get approved for it, of course. Does that make sense?
HOMEOWNER1:14
Yeah, sounds, sounds, yeah.
AGENT1:22
OK. And let me ask you this, Billy. I mean, did you ever look into solar in the past or heard anything about how these newer programs work now?
HOMEOWNER1:26
Yeah, it, but let me, let me kinda interrupt you a little bit.
AGENT0:19
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER1:36
Yeah, we're um you know, we basically planning on moving so we don't want to get trapped in the solar contract with the house.
AGENT01:17pm
Yeah Yeah,
HOMEOWNER4:30
So that's,
AGENT0:19
yeah.
HOMEOWNER1:39
that's where we're going,
AGENT0:19
Yeah
HOMEOWNER0:19
yeah.
AGENT1:45
No worries. Yeah, I completely understand. I mean, that's exciting. You guys are looking to move. Do you know how soon you look to move?
HOMEOWNER1:52
Yeah, within probably about maybe another year or so, so we just didn't want to get locked into a solar
AGENT0:19
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER1:54
contract. at this point. If we change our, if we change our mind, then we'll, you know, we'll be more than happy to go on with the program and stuff like that, but as of right now, stuff like that, just that, just the one to get locked into a long solar project with, you know, and, and all that right now,
AGENT2:33
Absolutely. And though I I I did wanna ask, I mean, I know you mentioned that you were looking to sell and, and obviously that was kind of what was holding you back from moving forward. Um, did they, did anyone ever like break down to you how you can take advantage of like, um transferring over the savings when you plan to sell? Like, did they ever bring that up to you at all or anything like that?
HOMEOWNER2:42
Another conversation probably shorter than that, but you know, when the, the selling portion of it, I didn't go off too, too much and stuff like that, yeah.
AGENT2:52
OK. Yeah, no worries. The only reason I bring it up is because I wasn't sure if you're aware, but let's say you are looking to sell within the next year, 1.5, 2 years, whatever it may be.
HOMEOWNER01:18pm
Uh-huh, mhm
AGENT3:22
What you can actually take advantage of is with this new program that's out, if you can qualify, it actually helps you save money from day one up until that year's time, 2 years' time comes that you plan to sell. And when you sell, it's now fully transferable. So you no longer have to pay off the system or anything like that. You're simply just transferring those savings you're getting and putting it to the new homeowner. And then they'll take advantage of, um, you know, tho those exact savings that you were getting. So
HOMEOWNER0:14
Mm.
AGENT3:27
that's the way that these newer programs work, of course, is as long as you can get approved for it.
HOMEOWNER3:37
Right, right, right Mm. It sounds interesting, um, basically, um, just let me think about it a little bit
AGENT0:19
Yeah.
HOMEOWNER3:49
before I go forward. Um, but, um, but yeah, you know, give me about uh, you know, uh, you know, a couple, a couple of weeks and stuff like
AGENT2:52

OK.
